Flash is an empty character who simply represents Twilight's love interest ... completely lacks any form of interesting personality or traits xD

I think Twilight having a relationship is fine, but Flash needs to be completely redesigned or replaced.

I would think the mane six are less relate-able now. There are two extremes to this spectrum of relate-ability, and unfortunately I see those two all too often. On one end you have the "average high school life," which is completely devoid of interesting circumstance, and to the other you have the "invincible hero chosen by the gods" which only works for the narcissistic crowds who view themselves as such

I don't think mlp exists to either extreme currently, but I believe twilight ruling on her own was the preferable arrangement.

I've never flamed anyone actually. I might try to inspire someone to watch mlp, but I'm not disrespectful of other's tastes.

I still trash mlp around my family, but that may change soon ... around my sister anyway

There can be some overlap. Certainly if we develop the technology to digitize memory, record it, store it, and indeed share it with out friends as easily as a facebook message or email it would make people more empathetic to one another. The proverbial, "walk a mile in someone else's shoes."

I agree that both fields are influenced by technology. Transhumanism could bring out technological innovation which would in turn alter the nature of friendship, but transhumanism itself does not directly relate to friendship.

I didn't know this was a thing, but I rather well suspect I have this now. I feel the need to fiddle with a Rubik's cube or such at all times ... it makes me uneasy if I can't move my arms.

Well ... they're not mutually exclusive, but I don't particularly see a connection. Transhumanism concerns the alleviation of the human condition, while FiM is about friendship.

I feel like only certain content will be heavily replied to and viewed. It disturbs me that there's a lack of balance between subjects of thought among people.
