I can connect very well when you talked about how you'd "filled ten journals with random sketches." When I was a foreign-exchange student in third grade, doodling was how I survived in the classrooms-- I didn't bother learning the language..
The manga is very well thought out so far. I would love to see any sketches you have of Hiro.
