I registered just to add this comment. I've always been a hands-off fan of this show, considering the (admittedly) silly stigma the fans can have from people who just don't understand. But make no mistake, everypony, this episode is a breakthrough. Reading a heartfelt review like this (and others) further illustrates that point to me. This show, no matter how you slice it, has the best relationship between fans and creators who share a single vision for the show. Whether a fan is at an "on the wall" stage like I am or indeed at the more extreme side of the spectrum, never does anyone want this show to be more than what it is. Even for this quick moment where we get the most loving serving of fandom in-jokes that I've ever seen, no one (not the fans, the creators) lose sight of that. Friendship is indeed magic. And this episode showed me that.
