  1. As of Flight to the Finish, I have to say I haven't been a fan of season 4 until Flight to the FInish. The Premiere started strong, but lost it's appeal during the second half, especially in pacing. Castle Mania was meh all around but the worst of all was Daring Don't IMO.

The whole episode was just bland and it made no real sense. Especially with the fact that Daring do is real, it really ruined my view of the books tbh, and it was made even worse by her being the writer.

Like I said earlier, the season as a whole has been dull to me, despite a great 5th episode, and I expect more from the writers as they have been substandard IMO

  2. I wouldn't say ALL shows need such.

Some can/should just be senseless, but not all, and not many.

Looney Tunes and that ilk are a good example of fun shows that catered to both crowds (adult and child) while being completely pointless. And they lasted for many years as such.

But not every show can do this, nor should they try.

I see where your coming from, but I think Looney tunes does have substance and reasoning, being a cartoon made with the idea of abusing cartoon physics and being ridiculous in an entertaining way such that adults can understand the reason for the show's existence

Most kids shows these days that I have seen almost serve no purpose for entertainment other then occupy your kids because they don't know any better and when an elder watches it, they are not intrigued in the slightest. If that makes any sense :P

  3. No matter what the show in question is, there has to be a set standard that regardless of demographic, should have some form of logic or substance behind it. The show needs a reason to exist, otherwise it's just a mindless distraction for kids to become mindless themselves, thus leading the future of the world up to mindless adults, and then the world the screwed

  4. It's amazing how much that series can get you to care about it's characters. I have never actually cried because of it but I have pretty much felt every emotion from being happy and laughing to worried and depressed. The part where

we had to save Nanako and when she was in hospital

in Persona 4 being a prime example of that! That's one of the main reasons I love that series so much biggrin.png.

Oh yeah absolutely, I made that post particularly with that in mind, it was so emotional, I really felt super emotional not only the first time I played, but every time, Not to mention that one moment in P3 that crushed everyone Im sure

  5. I try my best to 100% most of the games I have, except for those that are too difficult for me or just are WAY too tedious. Some of the games I've 100% are all the Super Mario 3D Platformers, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Most Zelda games, most Kirby games, Okami, assassin's Creed....some others. THe games I usually 100% are Platformers if you haven;t guessed

  6. The overload in cuteness is too powerful, I can;t take it anymore!

Jokes aside, this drawing is fantastic and the characters all look near perfect representations of the official designs. I applaud your magnificent work, keep it up!

  7. My top 10 using the 1 game per franchise rule (Or else there would be like 3-4 franchises covering the whole list)

    10. Persona 4~Really fun and absorbing RPG

9.God of War~Beating the crap out of everything in style

8.Kingdom Hearts~One of the best RPGs ever! Even if the concept makes no sense

    7.Devil May Cry 3~THE COMBOS

6.Dragon Ball Z Budokai~Fun fighting game, hours spent playing with my friends

5.Jak and Daxter Precursor Legacy~Huge open world Platformer

4.Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal~THE WEAPONS MAN!

    3. Shadow of the Colossus~The most emotional I got over a PS2 game. Just amazing.

2.Sly 2: Band of Theives~Perfect balance of Stealth and platforming

    1. Okami~Words cannot summarize this game. It is too good for words

  8. N64, SNES, PS2, PS3,X360, Wii, GBA,DS, 3DS, Gamecube, I think that's it

My favorite will always be my N64 for nostalgic value, playing games like Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Majoras Mask are irreplaceable exeriences

Least favorite is probably my PS3. FOr most multiplats this generation, I picked my 360 because games always seem to run better on 360 than on PS3, and the exclusives on PS3 weren;t too impressive either to me. Also the controller feels awful.

  9. I was born in 1995, so naturally I was a bit behind on getting SNES/NES/Genesis. Thus the first video game I ever played was Mario Kart 64 on the N64 of course. I had a blast playing that game for hours on end with my cousins, it was such a great way to bond when we were young, and we occasionally still play it today. WHile I strongly believe Diddy Kong Racing trumps Mario Kart 64, I cannot deny that Mario Kart 64 gives me the most memories

    Two words...Block Fort

  10. In terms of fan creations, I'm not a huge fan of running into any clop stuff, but I try to forget or look over it, I have nothing against the people though.

However I really hate the bronies who are shoving ponies into other people's faces, they are what makes us look bad, that is why there are so many brony haters, the people who can;t stop talking about it to non bronies. It infuriates me seeing it happen while playing an online game or something like TF2 especially, it makes me almost hate bronies myself :P

I also hate the fans who overreact over every change made in the series such as Alicorn Twi and Equestria Girls, the amount of anger it spread made no sense. I also hate how part of the fanbase sometimes complains when there isn't enough brony driven references in the show, then start complaining when the nods to bronies are shown saying that it's "not what it used to be" and stuff like that.

I'm also not a huge fan over the obsession with background characters. I admit, some are cool, but the obsession makes no sense to me because they aren't even real characters, there is little to like about them outside of design, it epecially bothers me that I feel like Derpy and Vinyl are more popular than Applejack and Rarity

  11. Just to name a few:

    Banjo and Kazooie~Banjo-Kazooie Series

Great Might Poo and Professor von Cripplespac~Conker's Bad Fur Day

    Orbulon~Wario Ware

    Klampons~Donkey Kong Country 2

    Pigarithms and Hogarithms~Super Paper Mario

    Everybody~Final Fantasy Series

  12. Tbh.. i haven't gone that far yet, i've been exploring and checked out the island more than actually progressing. I guess the return of Starlow makes me happy for the moment since it's a cute character. x)

I know the feel, we had the same deal with other 3DS releases, it sucks that they've to delay and put off region releases so much. About the 3D, i think it's fairly decent, i've had it on since the beginning of the game and no sign of disorientation or eye strain yet. :)

Yeah, sucks, but I should be able to wait a month, I hope. I'm just hoping I can stop myself from any spoilers :P I don;t always use 3D, I only use it in games people recommend it in like Mario 3D Land, so if you say it's good, I'll probably try it out

  13. These "amazing parents" must be complete idiots if they truly believe that letting their kids watch MLP is dangerous, like seriously, it's pathetic. If they think bronies are all rapists and pedos, they are sadly mistaken and should know better than to accuse without any proper research. These idiots likely watch Fox News!

What bronies do with the show should not affect the kids watching in the slightest. Yeah there is NSFW art, but guess what parents, its the internet, get over it, if you are against that then get some fucking parental controls on. Kids really don't need to be on the internet alone anyways. STOP DEPRIVING YOUR KIDS OF AN AWESOME SHOW

  14. Growing up as a Nintendo kid, Gamecube was the second system I ever owned after the N64. It is one my favorite systems ever, but I often feel that it doesn't get enough love, so I am here to ask you fellow bronies, what are your favorite games on the Gamecube?

    My List is decently big:

Super Mario Sunshine (Best platformer ever!)

    Paper Mario Thousand Year Door

    Mario Kart Double Dash

    Super Mario Strikers

    Luigis Mansion

    Zelda Wind Waker

    Zelda Twilight Princess

    Metroid Prime Trilogy

    Resident Evil 4

    Viewtiful Joe

    Kirby Air Ride

    F-Zero GX

    Pokemon XD

    Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

    Pikmin 1&2

As you can see, I love Gamecube games :P

EDIT: HOW DID I FORGET MELEE? I swear I had it down. I must've assumed that was a given, lol. Anyways, add melee onto there

  15. Awww man my jealousy levels can't be matched right now, I am so super excited for this game, The first 3 are among my favorite handhelds RPGs ever, if not THE BEST handheld RPGs ever. I'm glad that it isn't messing with the perfect formula too much while still adding little innovations to keep it fresh, I hate Paper Mario Sticker Star (Super Paper Mario was ok though). I cannot wait to play this game, one of the best things about this series is the amazing boss fight, which are sooo good thanks to the near perfect battle system. Anyways, how I must wallow in my jealousy of you Europeans :P

Oh an one question, how's the 3D?

  16. There are so many great quotes in video games, many have been mentioned. I should just say that my favorite quotes usually come from Starfox 64, Portal series, TF2, and Ratchet and Clank series.

HOWEVER for some reason the quote that gets me every time is from Super Mario RPG, when Croco storms out of town and Mallow yells at Toad asking why he didn;t stop him with Toad responding "Because I left my bazooka at home, jeez!". I think this quote t sticks out to me for how random, out of place, and unexpected it was to see coming from a Toad :P

  17. 1.Rarity

    2.Pinkie Pie

    3.Rarity

    4.Rarity

    5. Pinkie Pie

    6. Fluttershy/Twilight/Applejack/Rainbow

I honestly REALLY REALLY just love Rarity and Pinkie the most by a landslide. I love all of them though, I just can't be bothered to order them past a certain point

  18. Uhhhgh I went through a lot to narrow it down to 1 per generation, meaning that what I have now will not necessarily be true forever, at least for favorite pokemon, starter is pretty much set in stone for me though

All choices are listed Region: Starter,Favorite

    Kanto: Charmander, Poliwhirl

    Johto: Cyndaquil, Houndoom

    Hoenn: Mudkip, Flygon

    Sinnoh: Chimchar, Magnezone

    Unova: Oshawott, Lilligant

  19. I am so super excited for gen 6, I strongly believe this will be the best gen ever! It is exactly the step forward we needed since gen 3 came out! The new pokemon are looking really cool, I like that pokemon from all 6 gens will be involved, I love the cel-shaded art style in battles, the new fairy type will be huge in changing the mechanics of the game, just so many great things coming. I hope the games will also have a slight alteration in the story for a more fresh experience too
