I think it could have been better, but overall I enjoyed it. I personally hoped they'd find a way to end their feud without knowing its origin, but it wasn't that bad.

I don't like having to wait a year for new episodes, but I don't think I'll lose interest. The fandom still makes a lot of content and there's plenty of other things to occupy my time. Anyway, when the hiatus finally does end, I don't think it'll seem so bad that we had to wait that long.

In the spring of 2014, my brother and sister started watching the show. Since they were always doing it in a room that I'm often hanging around in, I got a lot of exposure to it. After this was going on for a few days, I finally couldn't resist and it quickly came my favourite tv show, if not instantly. It took me several months to overcome my embarrassment about it though. Even now, I only have a few friends that know I like the show.

I met one brony who goes to the same curling lessons I go to. I haven't talked to him much though. (curling is the sport where you throw stones across a sheet of ice by the way) Other than that, I wore a not too obvious pony shirt to a dance the other night and a couple girls I met there recognized it instantly and seemed to like it. I'm not sure how much they're into the show though.

I think I had about a three hour session last summer. I haven't done much binge watching of anything for a couple of years now, though I can see myself spending an entire Saturday watching pony at some point in the near future.

So I made this short analysis video about Rarity and I'd really appreciate some feedback. I know there's already too many pony analysts out there but I thought it might be fun to try it out. Anyway, has anyone got any tips for improving my skills for future videos?
Thanks!

I'm kind of conflicted on this one. As a character, I like Sunset Shimmer and would like to see her in Equestria sometime. But on the other hand, I don't really want Equestria Girls stuff in the actual show, so I guess I could say that I'd like to see Sunset go to Equestria as part of a future EG movie, but I don't see that happening as that would defeat Hasbro's purpose for creating EG in the first place.

I suppose it depends on how powerful the nightmare magic was. If the elements were completely necessary to drive out nightmare moon, then I don't believe she would ever bring back the sun. Otherwise, perhaps the amount of suffering would eventually cause at least part of Luna to return. Without a good knowledge of the magic's power though, I personally can't give a yes or no answer.

I'd have to day it was when I overcame my depression problems last Christmas. I went with my family to my grandparents' place for a few days and for some reason, I've been able to stay on top of my depression since then. I consider that a very defining point in my life. I do still have to keep fighting it though.

I'd guess it will probably be a unicorn, though it could be any race. I can't imagine it being an earth pony though. The writers could even make it an alicorn, though I'd prefer that not happen.

I find it strange that even though I usually don't care for shipping, I do like the idea of pairing up Big Mac and Marble Pie. For some reason, I instantly liked seeing them blushing at each other. I can see potential for their relationship to be developed in future seasons, though I'm not sure the writers would actually do that. Also, I'm not sure how the fandom would take it. As long as it was done right though, I'd be in support of it.

I have always wanted to know more about the cakes. They seem to give Ponyville more of a realistic home feel. The mane 6 go through so many crazy events that the Cakes seem to be a reminder that there are still normal ponies with normal lives in Equestria. I really like the adventure in the series, but I find the interaction between Mr. and Mrs. Cake relaxing in a way.

I wouldn't be surprised if an episode like that came around in Season 6 at some point. Season 5 has already had a lot of unexpected episodes and an episode surrounding Twilight and Shining just makes sense for a future story. There are so many possibilities for how it could work. I do like the idea of using a babysitting episode though.

The ponies I know would never attack Canada (or any country on earth really). But if they did attack, hopefully we could come to an agreement with the ponies. I'd be willing to join the army to protect my family and friends though.

I like how it seems that the show writers are giving themselves a lot of potential with this new map. I wonder how much of it they already have ideas for and how much of it they intend to think about later. I'm really curious about what they intend to do with the Bugbear Territory. I didn't really expect them to bring up bugbears again. It could make for an interesting story.

Pinkie or Fluttershy usually works for me. Pinkie's humorous and Fluttershy calms me.

I think her cutie mark means that she's good at persuasion or leadership. She could have discovered this even if she didn't know how to use that talent in a good way. Her reformation seems to almost be a renewal of her cutie mark since she learns how to use her talent to make her and others happy.

One way I've thought about a pony's magic is that it is connected to their soul or identity. I think of it as a sort of essence that comes from each individual pony. When Tirek stole a pony's magic, his or her cutie mark would disappear. I think of that as like their passions, talents, and many of the things that would determine their identity as just being drained of all energy. Their identity is still there, there's just nothing to fuel it. Unicorns and pegasi just have seemingly more direct ways to harness that magic. That's just my thoughts.

I've usually always done Link for all the Smash games, but I've been trying out Megaman a lot in the wii u version.

I'm usually more of a follower, but ideally I would like to be someone who can lead when necessary. I'm guessing I'll always tend to be a follower, but since I hope to be an officer in the military in the future, I will need to learn some leadership skills.

All I can say is that I was fine with the episode once I got accustomed to their new cutie marks. The episode felt a little rushed however. Although, the songs were great. Diamond Tiara's redemption seemed a little too fast. Plus, when the CMC got their cutie marks, there was a little magical thingy that happened to them. They might be important somehow.
Guardians of the Galaxy? No, Guardians of the Cutie Marks.
I agree that this episode did seem a bit rushed, but for some reason, I feel that didn't bring down the quality of the episode much. It almost felt like a redo of Magical Mystery Cure. It was fast, had lots of music, and had a huge show changing event at the end. Also, the magic way they got their cutie marks was interesting. It makes me wonder if they'll get a more prominent roll next season.
That episode caught me completely off guard!

I don't think I'll be able to focus on much of anything for the rest of the day. That episode was absolutely insane!

I've never actually seen a tornado. There was one not far from my city this past summer, but I was out biking in the mountains far away from any storms when it happened. My brother saw a funnel cloud though.

When has Spike had any growth?
I don't see Spike as ever having had much growth. I think most of his slight changes are more to do with the overall show developing through the seasons than his own episodes. Some of the only growth I think he's had from an episode is when he came to accept Owlowiscious. I still think that Spike has only had minor and insignificant growth though. It's true that relative to the other characters, Spike has had pretty much no growth. I just wouldn't say that Spike has had zero development. That's just my opinion though.
Are the elements of harmony beings or a symbol passed down to each generation?
in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I don't think that the elements themselves are sentient, though I think the Tree of Harmony might be. The elements seem to me to be more of a way to magnify friendship magic. As for the Tree of Harmony, it's a living tree. While I'm not sure if it's fully sentient, I think it's more alive than the elements could be.
