Naw, she's just a fool. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakespearean_fool As others have pointed out in this here thread, Pinkie is pretty darn smart. If someone in real life could remember everything about everyone in their town, play like 10 instruments at the same time, and so on. We would probably describe this person as a genius. So yes, Pinkie is a genius (possibly rivaling twilight). in Luna Eclipsed Pinkie says that it can be really fun to be scared. It isn't that she's slow or anything like that. She just wants to have fun and she wants everyone else to have fun. So she acts like a doofus because it makes everypony laugh. Unfortunately some of the writers don't seem to realize this so she often gets played off as an idiot. I don't think this is because she's hard to write either, I just don't think they understand her character. MMMystery on the Friendship Express is a good example of this. -
It is done. I like how Rarity turned out. Now I just gotta do Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Twilight. Who should I do next?

Well I finally got the chance to work on Rarity. Here is the sketch. I want to try and capture her personality in the animation like I did with Pinkie, but I'm not so sure how. Any suggestions?

That's awesome! Will you be posting it on these forums when you're done? I'd love to see it. It actually took me a month or two to get this picture done. Although from start to finish it only took around seven hours for each of the cat I took breaks while working on it. There are a few answers to this question actually. 1. I have a few cats so I'm pretty familair with how they look. and 2. References. References always help with everything. Although most of this probably isn't referenced. So it's really just a combination of already knowing what cat's look like and a few references here and there.

Well since I got a topic for pony art I guess I'll make one for the not pony art I've got... Which is a lot... Here's this picture. The image on the left was made back in 2010 it was the first image I made digitally.... A lot's happened since then. I made the one on the right ealier in the year. It took like seven hours for each cat. After I did the first two I got completely worn out though so it took me a few months before doing the final one. As you can imagine this picture means a lot to me since it kinda represents what I went through in the past five years. Anyhow I'll post more images later.

Welp. I do draw ponies from time to time so I'll post them here when I do. Here is a Pinkie icon for now. I plan on doing icons for all the mane 6. Not sure who to do next tho.
