If you need validation from others in order to feel good, then when you are alone you will feel pain. Buddhism has a metaphorical philosophy. If you are going with past tense like its a story then try and act the part of story-teller to make it more entertaining perhaps(also pacing). If you suddenly switch to real time, it needs to be explained and the tone has to adjust. Perhaps an epilogue or w/e if you try it that way.

I can only disprove the bible, which leads me to thinking heaven doesn't exist because the logic for that dimension does not hold up, the foundation being incorrect, why should I consider any concept beyond that which requires that is correct? Personally, I like colorful. I like patterns, I don't like simple. I like a form that requires more cpu in order to function. I like complexity. I like soft pastels. I like dark deep colors. I like neon stuff, I like rainbows. I also like art. My OC is a shapeshifter, changes forms, changes preferences. Kinda like me. Now, this is terrible, but instead of giving each idea for each form my OC could prefer, I am going to combine all features of each form. No need to applaud or thank me, I know you really envy difficult to draw terrible OCs. So one way to satisfy my OC's problem with the color, is to make a gif of multiple coat variants, after making it in black and white then recoloring it repeatedly. But to even draw it in the first place lol. So if I am going to make my ultimate OC preference, its going to be a little bit difficult to say, because they change so much its kinda stupid lol. Ok. So for shapeshifting they can be ethereal, robotic, organic, or alternate-dimensional-physical-material. So they shift between one and the other based on preference and mood. When they choose to be robotic or organic shaeshifter, its usually for versatility. When its ethereal its when they are feeling more emotional than logical, but also pensive and quiet. Like reflective non-vocal thinking, and can also be more prone to inner exploration through phasing through surfaces and searching, and can be invisible perfectly then. But their robotic and biological invisibilities are imperfect being based on tangible flawed substances. When they are composed of alternate matter their magic is draconequus-like and adheres to rules related to perception, unexpected stimuli, and synesthesia. When in these forms they tend to be more soft pastel colored with a variety of visually static colors. When they are in a good or partying mood and biological their coat changes colors swiftly. When they are robotic and in that mood, their coat is like the highest definition tv surface possible, and creates animations messages complex or stunning patterns etc. Like a cuttlefish can change their coat color/intensity/luminescence/etc well enough to hypnotize people(but cuttlefish hypnotize crabs). Also like cuttlefish can shapeshift biologically not just magically, and to a greater extent and more detailed, they don't actually have any fur or a mane, they are just shapeshifting their skin to feel and look like it (rarity giving a mane makeover might be uncomfortable and painful to this character) Whenever they shapeshift except when ethereal they are always noticeable. They prefer the female form, because the faces n chins mostly, and because mares are more comfortable than stallions in some ways. Is colorful, has fangs and non-feathered wings is nice. And the pinkamena has 4 forehooves/arms (thinner than usual due to having 4), and 4 sets of ears all pierced (laying back/down bunny ears, deer ears, pony, and human ears.) Cephalopod pony, with mane tentacles(cuttlefish type tentacles), tentacles instead of legs/hooves(octopus tentacles), likes hanging out in mud puddles on dreary days and being small. An ethereal form they have taken is an armored ghost pony, but not traditional armor, each segment is differently shaped, and the pony shifts colors based on the moonlight and sunlight of the area, usually going for an old black n white photo sorta brownish tint, like the afternoon sun is peaking into a dusty room. They are mostly transparent and luminescent, has golds black silvers whites. The darker it is the less transparent, and the brighter they are the more transparent. If the moon is not out at night they are relatively obscured in the night sky. The physical movements of ethereal forms are magical by nature so all seemingly physical ethereal armor is actually magical armor and physical attacks pass through. They get very minor time magic in this form and quantum preference. (can slow stuff narrowly shift space-time so attacks miss, and speed stuff up a little and briefly, and all random things they can alter, like coin flips always land on heads within 20 feet [6-7 meters] (is a thing they can do). A mermaid-like pony that floats in the air and is also ethereal of a form(except when in water can become a water form), and the air acts as if water is causing their mane to drift about, their form is variant and vague (has and does not have a tail, merpony fins, cuttlefish skirt fins, tentacles). Changing blues greens and pinks are this form's color. Slightly eldritch. Then the least drawable form, *drum roll* is when they devote their form to brain power to the maximum. Most sensitive sensors and sensory organs of all kinds, teleported into space, constantly wriggling innumerable tentacles with horns inside their tips to cast spells constantly, while all color changing as detailed as the tv-screen-like coat I mentioned earlier but each tentacles tries to have a unique and constantly never repeating pattern compared to all other tentacles, while each is doing similar with a spell they are casting, and the movement patterns they are making, while dozens of mouths(and speakers(including vocaloid)) of distinctly different species produce unique sounds similarly, while the texture of each tentacle changes similarly. Unique and non-repeating and constantly changing, to the best of its ability. Ethereal, alternate-dimensional-physical, biological, and mechanical variants, including various technologies and a lucid dream/VR/Singularity Ai section of the brain for psychological and simulatory experimentation on a massive scale. Because its an Eldritch Abomination~~~~~~ A good one lol. Not close to god tier in power tho, and it takes a long long time to take this form in space, or to even make it on land then teleport or float into space. And they don't do that with anyone looking anyways, don't want friendship rainbows to beam out n hit them lol. Also the most OP form is Basically the above form, but devoted to power, and has Alucard of Hellsing Ultimate's abilities, and Alex Mercer's of [Prototype], but also can produce the magical and technological So ends up looking like Contra stuff and constantly consumes anything it touches with magical nano-machines slowly to consume a whole planet, with dozens of tools weapons and magical wards that are constantly being added to it and strategically thought about and even making back-ups that are hibernating and disconnecting etc. This form would never happen unless they were challenged to an all-out fight in a desolate planet, or in a VR or dream state. I was talking about foreshadowing. McGuffin is a rather silly term, and I already know what it is. Was wondering if it was reflective of his character, and on just the adventure level (plot advancement) or also because its a silly word, it being silly too. Also the other questions I did ask are relevant. Like 'he notices he has hooves' is robotic. An emotionless robot can notice that, it doesn't give his personality which is what people really want, who cares that he noticed it. I noticed the grass was green, and sometimes is yellow or brown. Some types of grass I notice are bluer shades than others. Whats that say about the character? Nothing.
