So for those who didn't know, Dream Team was released today in Europe, i've been anticipating this game for so long and i already have a few hours into the game as of this post. Unfortunately people in NA have to wait for aug release, it's not too far away though.

To put it simple, this game is brilliant. AlphaDream has done a damn good job at balancing between innovation and staying on track with the series formula. It's introducing some crazy, silly, new and fun experiences without gimmicks overshadowing the core gameplay, which makes this a very polished experience.(Something i hope the Paper Mario series do with their future titles. :V)

I won't dive into much detail since most people don't own the game due to weird region releases to be honest.

Let's not forget how great the soundtracks/BGM are as well. ^^

The idea was to draw as close to the official art style as possible, hence the more "sticker" or paper style on the second picture where i tried to achieve something that's more recognizable to the series.

Wii U and 3DS, which i already own. No more consoles for me since i already fill my other needs through PC gaming.

A strong lineup of games are coming too, especially for the 3DS in the very near future.

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team this friday for Europeans, X/Y in okt, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and more.

Without a doubt the best partner in the game, followed by Admiral Bobbery. Veil has many great uses in combat and out of combat you're able to skip or avoid enemy attacks, which proved to be quite convenient sometimes. x)

In the japanese version Vivian was considered to be a male, all references towards this was later removed in the NA/EU version. :x

Bro...I love all of those games. Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game after Ocarina of Time. Paper Mario is one of my favorite Mario games too. I like TTYD more too actually.

Yeah, TTYD had a more unique world and less predictive chapter progression, which made it better than its predecessor tbh.

Also partners having life points makes more sense. x)

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask takes the cake as the number one game from the N64 era for me due to its wicked story and progression. Having a more immerse and interactive world than OoT in my opinion.

Then followed up by Paper Mario (I like TTYD more though) and Super Smash Bros, can't even count how many hours i've spent on those games.

I'm secretly a cat. *meow* :3

On a more serious note...

The 3D on the 3DS is just another gimmick from a company who makes...what...100% of their money on gimmicks? It's not even a very good gimmick considering the fact that it makes your eyes hurt.

I think the 3D works very well with many of their games and do actually enhance the visual and experience greatly. The 3D effect is a hit and miss really, for some it doesn't work while for some it does, nothing can be done about it. It's something you've to try yourself.

No comment on the latter... :/

I've been here for the longest time and i'm still at the phoenix rank. Ever since i left the staff i've been at this rank, which means around 5 months, probably longer due to the fact that i've lost track because of that stupid staff badge overriding it. x)

Also, I'm rarely posting anything worth of discussion unless i find something that interest me and where i would be to add to it.

I like certain girl clothes. I don't wear it in public, although i wish i had the courage to do so.

I adore pink beyond anything else, whether it be clothes, shoes, merch/toys or just the color in general.

Jewelpet is the cutest mahou shoujo anime and i absolutely love it. <3

I like to fill my room with plushies/toys/merch of series i like. (Nintendo, animé, etc)

8/10, rated this one several times now, why am i even replying if that's the case? I guess i'm just that bored right now.

Of course, a good portion of that is just me leaving my laptop on with this page open while I'm doing something else... I check in every once in awhile to see if there are some interesting topics to post in or posts to respond to and then return to whatever I was doing before.

Quite the bit, but I mostly leave the forums in the background while doing something else

I guess i'm the only one who actually prefer to eat a proper breakfast and skip lunch later on. Lunch has never felt necessary to me, it's more troublesome than anything. I find it hard to digest food during that time and it usually cause stomach pain/sickness if i'm actively doing something work related, which is very likely the case.

Breakfast and dinner will suffice for the day with small bits/snacks in between.

I have bad news I just found out that Smash won't be cross compatible, it makes sense because the games shares some different stages. I'll be picking up the 3DS version first because I have a 3DS and have (as of now) no interest in getting a wii U.

Just hope, pray and wish the online is decent.

Ohh well, i think the player base for both sides will be balanced enough if not equal to make the wait time non-existent. Regarding the online functionality, i sure hope they've improved it from Brawl or else i'll be somewhat disappointed.

I'll get the 3DS and Wii U version, so that i'm able to play at home and on the run. Something that's really worth it considering how awesome the series is in general.

Oh God no! this is precisely what Sakurai wants to avoid! more clones...you can be sure that Young Link won't be back! I know very little of the Zelda franchise, but I heard that Tingle has been a very popular choice.

 

I'm pretty sure that Link will be back with Zelda, I am not so sure about Ganondorf. They will have another character for sure, but this one will be recent, from the Twilight Princess saga or the Skyward Sword saga. 

Agree, clones were just limiting the creativity of the full roster, i sure hope they stay away from it as much as they can. As for additional LoZ characters, i hope we'll see either Midna, Skull Kid or Vaati. Since Sakurai confirmed that there won't be many 3rd party characters and very likely removal of toon/young link, it's a good possibility.
