I would think of it as a celebratory sort of thing so most of my songs would be upbeat, like Augie’s Great Municiple Band from The Phantom Menace, Beethoven’s Ode To Joy, and maybe Clair de Lune just for a calm moment between the more rousing beats. There’s a nice Anton Diabelli Mass that would be nice but of the seven he’s written it’s impossible to find the correct one anywhere online so I can’t give the specific name or even an excerpt. Maybe I’d finish the whole thing off with the Twin Sunset music from Star Wars; it’s hard to beat for pure sweeping beauty.

For the price of @TheRockARooster and I teaming up, not competing, will happily cook lots of steaks for you @Dreambiscuit
I'll be waiting at the table,. (Mind if I look at an appetizer menu and wine list while we're at it?)

I try to go every week if I can. If I can't, I stream a live Mass on TV. It's best to be there in person but streaming is better than nothing.

I already posted here about the time I whacked my head on the stump of a stalactite, but there was another time I remember from when I was about four years old. I fell down a gravel embankment and got deep cuts on my elbows and knees. I had blood streaming down my arms and legs and it was really nasty looking; it scared the living crap out of my parents. I still have a scar on one of my elbows from it, but I think my parents suffered the most.

I just bought a little cordless vacuum for my office and a keen pair of night vision binoculars. I had a gift card for the latter so I scratched a long-standing itch to get a pair.

I’d pretend I didn’t hear this person and vacate the area asap. If they persisted I’d continue to feign poor hearing and subtly speed up my retreat. In most situations like this I find it’s best to simply defuse the matter by walking away and not giving them any reason to persist further or react to any response.

I had a piece of avocado toast. Basically egg salad with mashed avocados, onions and a little mustard mixed in, served on sourdough toast (which I opted over multi-grain toast). It may seem simple but it was so good my soul felt like it was tugging at its moorings to leave my body for the heavenly places. Sorry, no photo here, it didn’t last long enough for me to get my camera on.
Next up: Tiramasu brownies.

I had my usual Cucumber Lime Gatorade. It’s a good flavor even though, on rare occasions, they mix them wrong at the factory and I’ll get one that tastes like peanut butter (not such a good flavor for a frosty beverage).

I'm not sure how I'm feeling to be honest. There are no words to describe the strange state of things for the last several weeks (months). Dropping by the forums here makes me feel happy, so at the moment I'm enjoying a little diversion. Nice to see my friends.
@TheRockARooster always cheers me up.

I would want to see the 1st Kung Fu Panda movie in theatres
@Dreambiscuit and @TheRockARooster, have you seen all the Kung Fu Panda movies?
I've seen the first three but not the new one yet. I hope to soon.

But what years did you see both of them?
I saw Bambi when I was fairly young, so late 90s I think. Great Mouse Detective I saw about ten years ago. Both were special showings and not regular re-releases. I don't remember the exact years.

Wise words of fortune cookies have also helped me @Dreambiscuit
I usually get my wise words of wisdom from the graffiti on restroom walls. What can I tell ya? I'm deep like that.

Now I want to see Bambi and the finale of "The Great Mouse Detective" on the big screen.
I've seen them both on the big screen and wow, so worth it!

I don’t typically wear a lot of jewelry. My line-up consists of a watch, wedding ring, St. Therese medal, and clip-on earrings (I don’t have pierced ears). Most of it is lightweight stuff and I don’t even realize I’m wearing it.

We're all attached to things of our own generation @Dreambiscuit
Video games are pert of my generation but I never got attached to them. They're more like a fungus that gets attached to me.

Some really cool ideas here. I'd choose Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). I've never seen it on the big screen and I always wanted to. It's a classic from one of my favorite times in movie history. It really demands a big screen.

I saw the original Star Wars trilogy in a triple feature at a charity showing and it was mind-blowing...but, as you said, it was a butt killer.

I have to add The Boy and the Heron, even though it's a 2023 film. But I haven't seen it yet.

D: how is that even happening?!
There's only one answer @Ice Princess Silky , it's TRUE LOVE.
The heart wants what the heart wants. It's okay to love a glass of milk. I won't judge.

Haven't seen it yet but that's pretty much what I'm expecting. The anime will never be surpassed.
On the other hand I love One Piece. The anime's great but the live action is just tighter and takes out some of the silliest elements.
I think I may have to actually watch the original anime. I've never seen it but everypony seems to love it.
One Piece may have to go on the list too. You've got me curious.

Does anypony go paintballing?
in General Discussion
I’ve done laser tag and always enjoyed it. But paintballing is another matter. I’ve never done it because I could never find anyone interested in doing it with me. In any case I imagine it would take a lot of equipment and protective gear to make it workable. I’d love to try it though.
