  1. I’ve done laser tag and always enjoyed it. But paintballing is another matter. I’ve never done it because I could never find anyone interested in doing it with me. In any case I imagine it would take a lot of equipment and protective gear to make it workable. I’d love to try it though.

  2. I would think of it as a celebratory sort of thing so most of my songs would be upbeat, like Augie’s Great Municiple Band from The Phantom Menace, Beethoven’s Ode To Joy, and maybe Clair de Lune just for a calm moment between the more rousing beats. There’s a nice Anton Diabelli Mass that would be nice but of the seven he’s written it’s impossible to find the correct one anywhere online so I can’t give the specific name or even an excerpt. Maybe I’d finish the whole thing off with the Twin Sunset music from Star Wars; it’s hard to beat for pure sweeping beauty.

  3. I already posted here about the time I whacked my head on the stump of a stalactite, but there was another time I remember from when I was about four years old. I fell down a gravel embankment and got deep cuts on my elbows and knees. I had blood streaming down my arms and legs and it was really nasty looking; it scared the living crap out of my parents. I still have a scar on one of my elbows from it, but I think my parents suffered the most.

  4. I’d pretend I didn’t hear this person and vacate the area asap. If they persisted I’d continue to feign poor hearing and subtly speed up my retreat. In most situations like this I find it’s best to simply defuse the matter by walking away and not giving them any reason to persist further or react to any response.

  5. I had a piece of avocado toast. Basically egg salad with mashed avocados, onions and a little mustard mixed in, served on sourdough toast (which I opted over multi-grain toast). It may seem simple but it was so good my soul felt like it was tugging at its moorings to leave my body for the heavenly places. Sorry, no photo here, it didn’t last long enough for me to get my camera on.

    Next up: Tiramasu brownies.

  6. I'm not sure how I'm feeling to be honest. There are no words to describe the strange state of things for the last several weeks (months). Dropping by the forums here makes me feel happy, so at the moment I'm enjoying a little diversion. Nice to see my friends.

    @TheRockARooster always cheers me up.

  7. I don’t typically wear a lot of jewelry. My line-up consists of a watch, wedding ring, St. Therese medal, and clip-on earrings (I don’t have pierced ears). Most of it is lightweight stuff and I don’t even realize I’m wearing it.

  8. Some really cool ideas here. I'd choose Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). I've never seen it on the big screen and I always wanted to. It's a classic from one of my favorite times in movie history. It really demands a big screen.

    I'd like something like the Star Wars Trilogy or the Lord of the Rings Trilogy in a theater but all that sitting would kill by butt!

    I saw the original Star Wars trilogy in a triple feature at a charity showing and it was mind-blowing...but, as you said, it was a butt killer.

    Haven't seen it yet but that's pretty much what I'm expecting. The anime will never be surpassed.

    On the other hand I love One Piece. The anime's great but the live action is just tighter and takes out some of the silliest elements.

    I think I may have to actually watch the original anime. I've never seen it but everypony seems to love it.

    One Piece may have to go on the list too. You've got me curious.
