@Blitz Boom To spice some things up for myself, going to challenge you here. With a question.... Drumroll Shall I introduce Crystal Clear and Zealous Enigma.Clever names, I know. Nah, kidding, their names are weird and I probably already asked about adding these two before Hopefully their backstories don't conflict with anything canon and whatnot, or isn't too brutal for anypony.

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire looked ahead, down the tunnel. "Yes, the hope is he can't sense my tracking method, but they seem to be still chasing Emerald." She turned her head back, still walking. "They are heading to the two sisters castle, or in the general direction of it at least." She looked ahead. Astral walked up next to her. "If he could sense it, is it possible he'd be looking for a way to get rid of it." "Yes, but I would rather assume he's just looking for Emerald, rather than that." She let out a sigh, her pace of walking speeding up by a bit. "But let's focus on finding Void first." ================================== @Blitz Boom Warlock smirked slightly. "Quite the impressive reputation, and a lot to forgive isn't it?" He looked up. "Would've been easier to forgive me if all I did was lengthen the night by a few hours." He said, haven lived through Nightmare Moon's extensively short rule. "But I will take it, if it means I get to live a little more, easily." He looked down a bit, a look of acceptance on his face. He did want to live free from dark magic, because then he'd be more focused on his goal, rather than power. ================================== @Blitz Boom He thought to himself, this was quite the tricky thing to figure out, but he did have one theory to it. "it only happened twice, for all we know, your expectation of the book hitting you is the reason it continues to." As Iron Star explained it, Misty was standing next to where Chow set the book, as it hovered over the table by a foot, the magic field was black and white, striped much like Misty's own fur coat. "Woah, cool!" She said to herself, with the smile of excitement on her face, she looked to Chow. "Surely you could do it too, especially since you're older!" As she spoke, her concentration broke and the book landed back down with a loud thud. "Ah!" She stumbled back, falling backwards. "Yeah see, I am so inexperienced." She giggled to herself, watching the book, expecting Chow to try again. "Well, she's right. And think of the book when trying. Focus on it, if it happens again anyway. It's definitely something within you that's causing it. But there's usually a solution to it." There was a pause after, Iron Star looking away slightly, almost to Misty. "Usually."

@Blitz Boom The two of them looked back, partway through the sentence spoken by Tidal, she found herself teleported through the rubble. "Sorry about that. Didn't realize you were going to follow us." Astral chuckled to herself, Sapphire looking at her, rolling her eyes and continuing to walk. "Pretty sure this is the only way out, so she'd need to follow us anyway. Right?" Astral asked, looking back to the general. ============================================= @Blitz Boom Warlock looked down at the floor as she spoke. "Right, nothing to change that now." He looked back up to her. "Although from what I hear from you, there might be a desire to. especially if I was to be free. Wouldn't want to lock me up just because of the type of magic I use, unless I do a crime, of course." ============================================= @Blitz Boom Iron only tilted his head at the question, spending an uncomfortable amount of time thinking about it. "I have no idea, it's a first for me." For Iron Star, saying that would be a big deal, levitation was always tricky, but the objects never moved towards the pony. "And, If you do turn out to be a magic magnet, it explains all the events around you." He casually mentioned, having read Chow's mind yet again. "There's also only a single book in Equestria that is sentient, and he's very annoying."

@Blitz Boom Sapphire looked at the general, nodding. "I will be sure to keep track of him." She walked down the tunnels soon after, finding the cave in. Sapphire teleporting past the rocks and debris, Astral following her after. "I wish I could see where Void was with magic, but her curse keeps me from doing that." She said to herself as she kept walking. "Curse?" Astral stepped in front of Sapphire. "I thought they were born with it." "You can be born with a curse, But I can only assume it is one. Considering the consequences of cancelling out magic." She maneuvered around Astral, continuing the search for Void in the tunnels "Only problem is, if it was a curse, they would've found a solution for it by now. There usually is after all." ========================================= @Blitz Boom "Possibly, Although if I had missed advances then my knowledge might be outdated." He chuckled to himself, the idea of helping them was more intriguing than he thought. But if he was behind on the times, then the spells he created could've been known. "Although from what I can tell, earth pony magic hasn't been made use of, since I know only six ponies who use it." ========================================= @Blitz Boom Watching Chow lift the book wasn't as impressive as, anything really. But Iron Star nodded as Chow lifted it, but then adopted a wincing expression when it started bouncing up and down. "Do you own that thing just for this purpose?" Misty asked. "I just practiced levitation on it, but since I barely read it now, yes." He pointed at her. "You might have more trouble, but practicing this at a young age usually helps." "That applies to most things though." He chuckled. "True, but magic relies on that more so, it's like learning a language. It's easier when your brain is still developing." He said, pointing to his own head. "But it's slower when you get older."

@Blitz Boom Suddenly a face of nervousness fell upon Sapphire. "We can go back and see if she's still back there." She said rather nervously, already beginning to walk down the hall. "Since if we did happen to ditch her, we can find her." Astral got up off the floor and walked up next to Tidal Wave, seeing some legitimacy in what Sapphire said. "Couldn't hurt to, right?" ================================ @Blitz Boom He rolled his eyes. "You suggested it as limb replacement, yes. But if it was life like enough, might as well have regenerated, right? Besides, I could give it the nudge required to get there." The look on his face after he said it was as serious as his intent. He was quite set on at least leaving open the possibility to himself. If that Element of Greed couldn't even hold enough magic to do it, surely a prosthetic would do. Still, with them he could fetch the elements more easily, especially if he was "reformed" "Although, you do seem doubtful in my ability to be good." "Wouldn't be surprised with your past crimes." He thought to himself, rolling his eyes a little,although that made him think of something else. "Isn't he still going to get a sentence before doing anything?" ================================ @Blitz Boom "Perfect! You got a lot of magical potential so you could pack a punch." He stood up off the bed and gave Chow a gentle nudge with his hoof, against Chow's shoulder. He looked at him, and then Misty as she stood next to Chow. "So you want to learn too?" "Yup!" He pulled out a book, the etchings on it would seem similar to stuff written on the cover of Warlock's own magic journal, but didn't emit ashes, but knowing Chow's previous experience with the book, being able to read minds and all... "Ah, this is a protection enchantment." He said, pointing to the etchings on the book. "But it's really demanding to cast it. So it can only be etched, it involves some dark magic, but not as serious as the other stuff." He opened it up the book, turning to the first page. "You've done levitation, I suggest you practice that on the book over there." He pointed to a big hard back cover book, a foot thick. "Since Levitation is the easiest spell to practice." Misty walked up to it. "What is it?" "It's an encyclopedia, really heavy, trying to levitate it won't be anywhere as difficult as teleportation even, but if you increase the size of the object you practice on-" He looked to his bed. "-You will increase your magic abilities, making spells easier to cast." He levitated the bed behind himself as he looked back to Chow. "So is that too complicated to think about?" She looked up to Chow, Misty looking concerned at him. "Maybe?"

@Blitz Boom Sapphire looked to Tidal Wave. "I tend to worry that the enemy just camps out around the corner, listening in, that is all." She looked away from Tidal as she spoke. "And I realized the only way to stop Zhu, is to stop my sister from committing further evil. To do that we need to find her." She looked in the direction Zhu ran in, and pointed to it. "In order to do that, we follow the ones who know her location." She knew very well Tidal already just said this in a simpler manner, but Sapphire felt the need to elaborate, to include context. Astral sighed. "Well, did we come here to fetch an item, to fight them?" She kept her eye on Sapphire, who put her hooves together, casting a spell. "What are you doing?" "Observation spell, I can see their location now, and the spell is designed so they can't sense it either." Sapphire looked to Astral. "Void is really all we need, that and the element she possesses, wait, where did she even go?" ====================================== @Blitz Boom He looked intrigued, at her explanation, chuckling to himself. "So that's what Nectar was." He said, having seen Nectar prior to her reformed body. "Well that certainly clears some things up, if there's hope in any region of magic involving limb regeneration, I'd be interested in helping there." He smirked slightly as he said that, his knowledge of magic was extensive, dark magic more so. So what he had to offer experience wise, was a lot. ====================================== @Blitz Boom "Sapphire is a skilled pony, yes. and Emerald is only strong because if we fought her, she could steal any of our bodies to gain more magical strength. But I doubt she'd make a cult." He looked away from both Misty and Chow. "and I sure hope she doesn't steal Sapphire's body." After hearing it, Misty couldn't help but ask him; "What happens if she does?" He looked to her, glancing at Chow. "Sapphire is really skilled with magic, and her eye produces magic from nothing and has no limit for magic storage, Which should be impossible, but even she's hid how it's able to do it from me." "Well that just makes me worry! It could be an element of disharmony!" Misty said, throwing her legs up. "Unlikely, Warlock can sense them. Well, he was only ever around the gem while already in possession of an element. Huh." He glanced to Chow, recalling what Chow said earlier. "Well let's not worry to much, whatever it is, I know I can trust Sapphire to defend it." He swirled his hoof, creating a flame floating above it. "Chow, I could teach you magic if you wanted to, we could use an extra magic user around."

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire looked to Tidal Wave. "No, that'd be stupid. But it'd be best to not discuss our plan while he's still here." She said, stepping closer to Tidal Wave. Looking to Zhu running off, waiting for him to exit the room before talking at all. "Wait, what were we here for in the first place?" Astral blurted out, realizing she forgot when the fight started. ===================================== @Blitz Boom He chuckled at her, this was a stallion of times pass, and had actually never heard of Changelings, he'd seen them for sure, but never knew the species name. "Are you making up words now?" His chuckling died down, realizing something else, he might need to specify what word. "What would Changeling even mean?" The guard next to him looked at him, probably just as surprised as Hogweed. "How the hay do you not know?" "I was frozen in stone for 300 moons" He said, looking to the guard. "You tend to miss a lot of history like that." ===================================== @Blitz Boom "So are they safe now?" "The fights over, I did say she wouldn't need help." Iron Star looked to Misty. "And that's the fifth time you asked, No need to worry so much" He sighed to himself, looking to Chow, they hadn't done much in a while, Iron Star had gotten to take off the bandage as his eyes healed significantly faster than they should've, and Misty was still in a cast, the only pony fit for a fight would be Chow, or Iron Star "Are you doing alright?" Despite his words earlier, that wasn't exactly the first time he asked Chow if he was doing good.

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire looked to Zhu, slightly distracted as the tendrils would loosen, trying to catch Zhu with one of them. She was in a similar situation as Astral, low on magic, but still able to cast complex spells. Wasting more magic with each one, hopefully this situation didn't repeat with a more powerful foe. But before it could grasp onto Zhu, she retracted all of them at once back to herself by lifting her hooves off the ground, the tendrils originating from her hooves and slithering back into them. Her crystal eye did seem to have a black smoke swirl like tendrils through it briefly after. "Might be easier to let you go then." She mumbled to herself. Astral stumbled back when Zhu flew himself out of the shield, pieces of it flying through the air, but dissipating as they hit items in the room. "Gah!" She fell backwards and shook her head. "Wait what? Do you realize what his plan is?" She asked, looking up to Sapphire. She looked to Astral. "I'll explain later." "There might not be a later with him!" Looking to Zhu, Astral got up and ran to him, using what was the last of her magic reserves to create a magic construct, yet another sword, seems to be the only thing they knew how to make, She wasn't exactly aiming to kill him with it, only disable him, swinging the sword at his back legs Sapphire swinging out her hoof, a tendril flying out to grab Astral's hoof and yanking her back, preventing her attack. "Well this is familiar." She said, realizing Zhu was right in front of her shortly after. ====================== @Blitz Boom Warlock looked at her as she took the measurements. "What advances has magic made?" He asked, looking genuinely curious about it. Any new magic he could learn, he would use. But his skill set was already vast, yet he still hadn't even used half of the spells he himself created or wrote down.

@Blitz Boom @Dji Astral, who hadn't done much other than talk. Encased Zhu in a shield, freezing his body in place. It wouldn't last long since she was low on magic already, and would break more easily as a result, but hopefully it'd work long enough to detain him. "Those who resort to evil to get peace tend to not notice when they are overpowered. Like now." Sapphire rolled her eyes at Karmic. Who'd find tendrils, similar to the ones sapphire made earlier, wrapping around their hooves, holding them to the ground. "Neither of you are going anywhere." =============================== @Blitz Boom "It's not like I could do anything if you did measure me." He said, acknowledging his current situation once again. "And you'd likely find Sapphire in the castle already, Considering she helped take me out, they'd want to talk to her." He grumbled to himself a bit as he said that, if he and her ever met, it would not end well. She was even the one who first fought him, their only experience of each other was fighting with magic.

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire lowered her hoof, dissipating the sword as she did so. "It wouldn't have harmed him." She wasn't lying, if she swung that sword in particular at anypony, it'd pass through them. She looked to Karmic, rather confused at what they said. "What are you even talking about? We came here to stop you two." Astral stood near Tidal Wave, looking at her. "So will we come with you to keep him in check, if he does surrender?" ================================= @Blitz Boom "Well she has the ability to switch bodies, and uses blood magic. And since she has to original body, you should assume whomever she looks like now, is innocent." At this point he didn't exactly care if they knew of her, since she hadn't bothered to free him at all. "She's named Emerald, and is also the sister of the pony who tried to stop me; Sapphire Star, who would quickly be your enemy if you killed Emerald, and considering her power, you'd not want that."

@Blitz Boom @Dji Neither Astral or Sapphire responded to Zhu, not even sure how they would to his statements. So instead Sapphire placed her hoof on her crystal eye, casting a spell on it, the crack patching itself up. "I'm starting to see this as a pointless endeavor to stop him." She looked at him with a look of anger. "But no one is going to harm my sister again." She lifted her sword again. "Especially a emotionless being like you." ============================ @Blitz Boom Warlock only looked at them as they spoke. "I will, consider it." He said rather reluctantly, unsure if he even wanted to change. But perhaps moving on was best, or he could find another way to get his body back together.

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire only looked at Zhu with anger in her eyes, only giving a glance to Karmic when the being within them spoke. "This is what I mean." Her sword extended in length. "No matter the species, not a single being can just, save the world rather than killing everypony in the process, sparing nothing to achieve what, Peace? Not when you've killed to get there, and clearly you need to kill to get past us." Astral held onto Sapphire's hoof, to keep the sword down, knowing what Sapphire wanted to do. "Listen, we've still not heard a reason for us not being able to fathom these futures your cursed to see, Zhu." Astral looked to Zhu as she spoke. "We legitimately could just, work together to defeat her before Any ponies die or suffer, you have the element after all. And you can see the future, however vivid it may be" She said, gesturing to him. Sapphire let out a sigh and closed her eyes. Stepping back from Zhu, her eye sparking once again. ============================================ @Blitz Boom His eyes scanned them, the past, however long it's been, felt like years really, with him doing these shenanigans trying to get the elements, to get the unobtainable, and these guys were being serious about turning him good despite the many things he did to get to where he was only a days ago,. but then it fell apart and now he was here, everything he did was pointless now. "So you're serious about this?" He looked away, and started to chuckle, transitioning into a laugh. "Oh is this because I give you an advantage for something bigger than me? Because I am pretty sure Discord was reformed purely to defeat Tirek. Although, he did fail."

@Blitz Boom Maybe she thinks it's Emerald, we could say that to make up for the mistake. xP

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire stood there, her eye sparking with magic and anger after missing Karmic. Astral now right next to her, and creating a shield to deflect the spell as Zhu cast it, just in case, keeping it up even after it was interrupted. "If you feel no joy, then you should stop doing any of this now!" Sapphire said, holding her magical construct that was her sword, towards Zhu. Astral looked to Sapphire, expressing the confusion towards the magic she felt coming off Sapphire at that moment, which felt like illusion magic. "Don't you think working with the generals could prevent any horrific futures, rather than turning evil to do it?" She asked, looking back to Zhu. Sapphire giving a glance to Astral. "At least give us a chance to fathom what is to come by letting them help!" "Ponies like these aren't easily changed." She looked to Karmic, but it was as if her eyes were not looking at Karmic, but rather the thing inside her. "Let's just let him talk to us before we say that."

@Dji Well I just didn't notice your response I guess I'll make a post for that now, hopefully I'll double check next time before making a post.

@Blitz Boom Warlock looked to his missing legs as they spoke. "A pony of my crimes deserves no help." He said blatantly, a mindset he had ever since he used dark magic. Ignoring the worlds changing perspective on evil ponies even now. "Do you really think I can just walk back from what I did and get accepted into society?" He tilted his head as he spoke. The guard with anti magic armor, looked to Warlock. "If we didn't think that we wouldn't be offering the possibility to you."

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire ran ahead as her eye leaked magic out, the cracked gem not able to hold magic as efficiently. But they were lucky, as the gem hadn't cracked all the way through, so it would release all it's magic. Sapphire created a sword in her hoof, teleporting ahead of them all, right next to Zhu and Karmic. Her crystal eye red, swinging her sword at them. "Come out Emerald!" She yelled as she swung her sword at Karmic, without a thought for the pony who Emerald possessed. "Don't!" Astral teleported, and ran into Sapphire to push her away, but instead Sapphire just let go, just throwing the sword at Karmic. ======================== @Blitz Boom "It's not that I don't know anything about her. I just can't trust if she told me the truth." He said, glaring at her for a bit. "You make me wonder what advantage I get from sharing this. I'm still in here either way."

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire continued holding back the storm, having never used this much magic in a long time. This body wasn't built to pump this much out either, and then her eye cracked, she covered it an quickly lost focus, the shield shattering as the storm was freed, resulting an explosion as it's pressure was released, expanding rapidly, it filled the room back up. "That shouldn't have happened! I wasn't even pushing myself that hard!" She thought to herself as she teleported next to astral, running next to the others. Her body emitting more magic than usual, her hair almost glitching a bit and stuttering as it bounced as if it was struggling to maintain form. But the hectic situation distracted Astral, and since Tidal Wave was ahead, it was unlikely she would notice either. ============================================== Warlock leaned forward as far as the chains let him, as the guard wearing anti magic armor stepped closer. "I remember those eyes." He said, glancing at her, for a moment this could be mistaken as him recognizing her. "Eyes of, fear. I've expressed them before." His eyes sparked with magic as he smirked a bit, the magic he used was just barely enough to teleport, and the anti magic prevented it, looking to the anti magic armor as the guard was practically standing next to Warlock after his eyes sparked. "But you have no reaction." "I've been around worse." Warlock looked back to the lieutenant. "I don't know much about her." Saying that, you'd think he was lying. But this entire time he wasn't entirely sure if Emerald was telling the truth to him, considering she was intended to wield the Element of Deceit and all, his attitude was to try and break any lies that existed. "But her soul is not tied to any physical form she inhabits."

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire formed a shield in front of them as the spell viciously burst out, the shield cracking, but in areas closer to Void. Sapphire pushed her hooves out, the shield forcing its way back, into the explosion, wrapping it's source with the shield. Sapphire straining as her gem sparked more, some magical spoke pouring out. "G-go after them!" She yelled back at them, with the vicious and unpredictable nature of the spell Zhu used, it was hard for her to hold it back. Astral running ahead quickly, before Sapphire even spoke. Forming a shield spell, much smaller than Sapphire's, still walking cautiously forward as she wielded a magical sword construct in her hoof. "Stay behind the shield, incase anything charges at us." ================================== Warlock rolled his eyes a little, he wasn't going anywhere, he knew that much. "Oh so somepony else was there? makes me wonder if there's an army around the corner considering how many you need to feel safe around me." He chuckled to himself, examining his situation once again.

@Blitz Boom @Dji Sapphire leaped forward out of Void's magic negating range as she stepped on the ground, as the tendrils began to stretch out once again, her gem sparking with magic as they crawled across the floor and walls, rushing to grab onto Zhu from the direction of the door. The tendrils ignoring the other pony with him, as she knew they weren't the one with the element. Astral didn't do anything and instead just watched as Sapphire's gem sparked with magic again. "Is that normal?" "I'm pushing myself a bit here, this body is still new." She said, looking back to Astral, but her small bit of distraction would give Zhu some room to defend himself. ==================================== "Do you not recall that I was trapped in stone for hundreds of years? Would you recognize a statue walking a palace?" He chuckled at himself. "I was a general, Maybe there's some name in the books, Chariot Iron Heart perhaps?" He said, knowing his low point, no point in denying his past now. Meanwhile the other guard stayed there, deciding to only nod to the captains words. "But of course I'm not even close to telling you enough to take me down." He smirked a little, his power was unknown, as well as his magical skill, nopony would've been able to write it down since he never told anyone about it.

@Blitz Boom Sapphire looked around at the artifacts in the room around them as they walked. "Ten years isn't so bad, I mean, I have been trapped inside this sapphire gem for longer than that." She pointed to her eye as looked to Void. ."But we should still avoid touching anything either way." She winked at Void with a giggle. Astral looked to Sapphire strangely. "You never did puns." She said, looking as the door was opened. Sapphire looked to Astral for a while. Her gem letting off sparks, but she seemed to not make an attempt to cover the fact. "It's time we tried a more cheerful environment." She said as she looked away with a smile. =================================== Warlock smirked as she walked of, but then it faded from his face. Too long without an element. His senses returning a little, no way was just that going to get him out of this cell. Walking back was the guard from a while ago. He stood in front of Warlock's cell. "Why do you return?" "Oh I never left, I just stood next to the cell. Out of view." He closed the cell door. "Needed to make sure you had more than just one magic negating pony around." "You're not cursed with it." He looked over to Null. "Is that what's with her?" He looked to his armor as the glow of the anti magic placed on it returned. "No wonder my suit didn't work for a while there." Warlock grinned a little, a chance to get out of here. The fact that the suit's enchantment wasn't permanent, looking around himself he wondered if the cell had a similar situation. "Oh well, doesn't matter in the long run."

@Blitz Boom Sapphire followed Tidal Wave, following close by was Astral who then walked ahead to walk with Tidal Wave. Sapphire cast a simple spell in her hoof, checking if Emerald was near, and if she was, it'd turn green, if she wasn't, it'd be grey. "So where are we headed?" Astral asked. ==================================== Warlock's eyes scanned her. "Of course you aren't." He said with a bit of a smirk. "I wasn't either. Just a pony who lost everything. And saw magic as a way to get it all back." He narrowed his eyes at her. "Only difference in between us, is that I will do just about anything to achieve that goal."
