I've often thought that the city Equestria Girls takes place in is somewhere in California though this is merely a guess on my part.

I'm not as active around here as I once was but that doesn't mean I won't stop coming here. I've still got my commitments as a member of staff along with keeping the Sunset Shimmer Fan Club functional and a few other things all of which give me a reason to remain. I suppose my activity would increase if multiple things were needed to be done which required my involvement.

The fandom has certainly made her out to be a sex symbol given what the fanart and fanfiction of her tends to convey her as. Granted, the show itself also did this though I doubt that it was intentional. Case in point, the swimsuit scenes in 'Forgotten Friendship'. That would be a prime example right there of fan service. There are other examples but the swimsuit one is arguably the best known one.

I started feeling older than I actually am since the age of 23... Which was fifteen years ago now.

Wow... This one is really popular over on Derpibooru. It is suggestive though I'd go with mild as opposed to extreme. Still, I can see why this one did so well in terms of likes and feedback. It has that right balance going for it.

Daydream Shimmer in a stunning scene. I wish this form had appeared more often and not been reduced to a form that was needed to solve just one problem.

I still stand by my opinion that this particular artist keeps getting better when it comes to drawing Sunset. However, I think the hands could do with some improvement. It might just be me but something about them feels off.

It's causing a problem for most things and not just this fandom. They are doing what they must in order to ensure the public's safety.

First, we need to hope that this one shot comic will be successful enough to prompt them into wanting to write more EQG comics. In terms of what we'll get in the upcoming comic, I suspect something that takes place after 'Sunset's Backstage Pass' but nothing major seeing as they only had the one issue to work with here. If more come, I'd like to see more about Sunset's family and how she lived during her younger years as Celestia's student. In fact, I'd like to know how they first met each other.

To answer the question, no, I don't think shipping has hurt the overall quality. Given the nature of Equestria Girls (Friendship is Magic as well) and who it was made for, the implied shipping was only ever brought up with the brony fandom and even then, they had mixed feelings about it. For the intended audience, it all just flew over their heads and they took it in stride without actually thinking too deeply on it.

I've never been banned from any forums though I have been given one or two infractions over the years, yet these were extremely minor.

While this is a suggestive pic, I'm more impressed with the cute little cat-like ears that Sunset has.
