I think a bigger point in Pinkie Pride is the whole "I'm going to leave town now, and everything I know and love, because I would rather you have a good party than me be happy." THAT is why Pinkie Pie is the Pierrot
Oh even better. Other than Twilight, she would be the other one most likely to take her life for her friends.

Well, yeah, that was my first thought when I saw Party of One...It kinda proved what I thought before...that the people who always love being around others, it's because they're afraid to be alone, and need to be with someone.
Pinkie is the perfect example of that. She has shown to be comfortable when she is around her friends and/or if her friends are happy. Other examples besides the aforementioned Party of One include the following.
A Friend In Deed: Pinkie wouldn't stop at anything to make Cranky smile.
Too Many Pinkie Pies: Pinkie wanted to be with all of her friends at once.
Pinkie Pride: Pinkie felt neglected when her friends went of with Cheese.
Maud Pie: Pinkie got upset when her friends didn't click with Maud.

It was based off this song, hopefully this is still on topic enough~
Wow, from what I heard, it's emotional. I love the emotional side of Pinkie.

Any episode of Pokemon where a main character has to release one of their Pokemon. That's always so sad.
-
It's like they want us to watch cartoons they seen as "Good" yet don't want us watching them fear of what they claim is "ruining."Agreed there. I watch Gravity Falls and interact with the fandom from time to time (but not as much as with you guys.) It's not so bad there, but they also have this sort of fear that bronies take over the show and i ask to myself all the time, why can't we like more animated shows then one?
It's mind-boggling to me.

What if 42 isn't the meaning of life?
It isn't... 32 is.
-
I'm not 24
!!!
I think it must be the beard that does it.
-
Dude...I know. They totally do.
Like if I were to guess their ages, I'd put Wolf at 24 and Swirls at 17.

Me and my lovely/wonderful/beautiful @SparklingSwirls meet for a short, yet long few hours together
. I love her very much
.
You guys look way more far apart in age then you really are.

Hey, can these people put a Bronycon in Chicago? They need to realize that we exist.

Oh it's the Tumblr SJW kind of war. Also that article was hilarious. Its just a Tumblr thing.
SU fans on Tumblr think that bronies are trying to infect their show with our toxicity or something. I wouldn't put much stock in it, just your run of the mill pointless drama.

I can easily mention why that is a stupid claim. For one, just because someone in another fandom makes a fan site, doesn't mean they'll infect it with ponies. Hey, EQD also made an anime fan site and you don't see them complaining. As a member of both fandoms, this is my take on it. Basically, some SU fans are freaking out that Bronies are making a SU fan site, thinking it'll "infect" the fandom with r34 stuff and generally make it worse and toxic and whatever. Usual reactionary stuff from a loud minority, it's not like the fandoms are actually butting heads or anything. There might be a bit of a rivalry forming in general, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If anything, SU and AT fandoms have more of a rivalry since SU was created by a prior AT storyboard artist and composer and the shows pull a similar audience. Also, like there isn't any R34 in their fandom? *sarcasm*

So I've been hearing about The Steven Universe fandom and the Brony fandom having a rivalry or something? Is it on some place I don't look. What exactly triggered this? Why are fandom wars even a thing?

And risk getting more shitty remakes like Teen Titans Go and Batman The Brave and The Bold etc? No thank you...
I would say Samurai Jack except for the fact that I'm worried about what I stated above happening to it...They already took a shit all over my 2nd favorite cartoon on cartoon network (Teen Titans)...If they touch Samurai Jack I'm raging...
I also see CatDog on the list. If we go by the logic of remaking shows, bad shows like mlp get turned into good shows. I don't like CatDog so maybe it would be turned into a good show.
Maybe a Samurai Jack reboot on Adult Swim would work.

The fifth episode will be with RD and Tank. And a song?
http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/03/friendship-is-magic-season-5-episode-5.html
Maybe that's the episode where RD gets a solo. Maybe a song about her lamenting Tank?

Two questions:
What got you into shipping?
Why are you into shipping?
Watching Pokemon as a kid and seeing everyone as shippable.
Cause there are so many shipping that are great and fun for fanfic fodder.

It's not really people complaining a lot.
It's a vocal minority of the fandom complaining about every little thing in an episode and won't shut up about it.

Am I the only one who's got a bad feeling about this episode? I feel like they may end up making Rainbow Dash dumb to fit the plot.
Here's how I see it. Rainbow Dash cares so much for Tank. She would do anything for him, and maybe is not up to date with the way hibernation works, probably afraid she won't see her again. There would probably be some heartwarming moments in there, and she would learn the lesson. It will probably be similar to Twilight in It's About Time where she loses all common sense cause she's so stressed over one thing.

First off. Dat pun.
Second, this looks to be very heartwarming. We don't go into the relationship of a mane six and their pets that often (Well except Flutters and Angel). So seeing this has me hyped.
Here's something else I must say, this is pretty interesting since Rainbow Dash controls the weather. So she'll have to break the rules and risk losing her job for Tank. That's sounds really sweet.

I was about to provide a big defense on this, then I realized this thread is old.
Let me just say that calling the fans, "Whinny fanboys," "Hasdrones," or any insulting term, is a big no no for a critic. It alienates the people who disagrees with you and is practically a straw man.
I don't like Flash Sentry that much but I'm not gonna say stuff like that to his fans.
On a side note, "Hasdrones burn pictures of Lauren Faust." Really? Wouldn't by the way people defining that term, like EVERYTHING the show makes, including the early seasons?
Granted, I still don't like the term as it's practically a fallacy on people who like stuff you don't, but at least define it right.

Favorite is Chikorita. And I'll just put in what I said in a previous blog.
Yeah, you all saw this one coming. Now, I never really explain why I love Chikorita. It's been a Pokemon I've actually loved since I was young. When watching the anime as a child, this would be that one Pokemon Ash had that was the most memorable to me. It's crush on Ash was just hilarious to me. I also love it's partially reptilian design being a fan of reptiles. Sadly, it gets an underrated spot seeing as it's a starter in a game that has a lot of gyms strong against grass types. Regardless, let the green leaf Pokemon shine!

Pinkie Pie Fan Club
in Fan Clubs
I always did like their contrasting personalities. Andrea basically voices opposite characters. Why don't they have many episodes together? Seriously, they could pull off an epic duet.
