And it's done. The last of 40 parts in the Looney Tunes blog series (well, the last of the classic era anyway)! A surprisingly strange and interesting year...

@Samurai Equine Thanks, my friend! It seemed like a lot when I started, but somehow I made it in the end.
I knew I'd watch them all, but writing about every single short wasn't a given.
@Rafa Stary Thanks, my friend! I'm going through selected post-1969 content, but a lot of it (the TV specials, the movies...) is pretty much just a few minutes of new animation between clips of old cartoons.I hope you enjoy them when you do so – it was fascinating to see how the series developed over the years and decades.

@Tacodidra ooooh I remember those specials XD, Boomerang used to reprise them a lot here, I used to enjoy them as a kid but nowadays I'm definitely wouldn't go through them just to watch a few minutes of short new animation, I prefer just watching the originals
Though some of these specials include some interesting things, I may be wrong but I remember one of them has Bugs Bunny's nephew, or something like that

@Rafa Stary A few of them appeared on Finnish TV too. I agree with you on the original shorts being better, but some of the specials are fun! Especially the few by Jones and Freleng that consisted of all new footage and the Ford/Lennon specials that had some of the best stories and more surprising old cartoon clips.
Clyde Bunny appeared in two of the classic shorts ("His Hare Raising Tale" and "Yankee Doodle Bugs") and returned for two of the specials: "Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales" (one of those with all new animation, with his part later split into a short "Fright Before Christmas") and "Bugs Bunny: All American Hero" (pretty much an extended version of "Yankee Doodle Bugs"). The way they brought back some less known characters is one of the best things about the specials: Mr. Meek, Angus McCrory, Millicent...
