YES, if you read around on some of these other topics about g.3 I do praise A Very Minty Christmas after I took the time to watch it, the characters defectives actually impact the plotline, there is an actual adventure and a story, lol, Minty putting that sock in the Christmas tree was the best thing I've ever seen lol, "Is this how you Christmas?"

Lol yeah I really enjoyed a Very Minty Christmas, but I'm a huge sucker for Christmas specials lol, I was just like dang everypony got to the North Pole pretty fast via Air Balloon, these ponies must live up North lol, but yeah I have like 3 or 4 posts amongst these classic gen topics trying to fathom how Princess Promenade is 7.5 and A Very Minty Christmas is like 4.9 like the gen.3 fans or reviewers confuse me lol

For some reason I really can not stand "Shake Your Tail." Lol it sounds weird when you listen closely and hear those inorganic voices cropped over it that sounds like a little boy saying "shake your tail" lol, but honestly CHS Rally song is BY FAR the best EQG song, followed by Rainbooms part in "Welcome To The Show". Sunset kills it honestly, and it's one if the numerous reasons I love Rainbow Rocks, lol I've seen that movie so many times I can recit 3/4 the whole movie word for word lol

When someone says, "what?" And forces you to repeat yourself even though you know for a fact they heard exactly what you just said, it's annoying thing to me, like they're half paying attention but actually knew what you said and just want you to reiterate the statement over again, it's annoying AF to me ..

Cant relate on hating the snow AT ALL, but I can DEFINITELY relate to others trying to force things on me I have no interest in and would not enjoy AT ALL. I thought this was pretty good, guess Sunny and Hitch become professional snowboarders in record time seeing as this is the first snow near Maretime Bay and (x) amount of moons lol, but ultimately yeah this was pretty good, I like celebrating in the snow, they could have been pretty vanilla with the episode theme and I would have still enjoyed it, but showing how Posey wasn't about conforming was pretty cool. We're all different lol...

14 years ago, I was imagining a MLP Tales show that was completely soap opera oriented, and it would work. Now, it took FiM a long time (5 seasons) before it got to that state where I felt the characters and story was good to top that idea. She was by far the LEAST "evil" of all the MLP villains, her reformation means a lot to me as a person, but no, the experiences Starlight went through as a pony genuinely made her believe that what she was doing was for the greater good of all ponies. 1. Can a unicorn really even remove her own magic? Or would Starlight have to teach some spell to another unicorn to be able to accomplish doing this? We know that Starlight is LITERALLY the only pony who has ever been able to accomplish doing this? How long would it take her to teach this magic to anyone else? In doing this, that would suggest there be a never ending chain of unicorns teaching new unicorns how to perform this spell so that they all in fact could be equal? Well it's gonna be awfully hard without having magic in general to teach the spell...? How do we know all unicorns would even be capable of such a complex spell? Eventually you would hit a wall in terms of magic capability/comprehension...

2. Starlight NEVER, "enslaved' anypony, she manipulated them, again there is lacking context, but there is nothing to suggest she was threatening them into staying in the community with their lives, they were brainwashed, we don't have all the context as to why they decided to join "Our Town" to begin with, but obviously their lives were indeed lacking if they chose to leave them behind in trust of a unicorn they have just met... The way that the ponies of Our Town rationalize their conformity and the way they neglect to ask any questions or look for these answers despite being long term residents of the town itself says just about as much for their competence as it does for Starlight's manipulative tendencies, they were conceptually "happy" not asking these questions....

3. Starlight's "control bit" and quite possibly her entire obsession with magic as I have explained MANY times comes from a direct result of her understanding as to how the world prioritizes those that wield it effectively and in her mind, (since I actually do headcanon for good characters) She thought that if she could use this magic effectively at it's conception she may have been able to catch up with her long lost friend or that her being able to use the magic in general was the end all for how the social structure of pony importance worked in general, she got deep into using it because she genuinely disagreed with the sentiment that made her so obsessed with learning it herself, this sentiment is about the social hierarchy and importance of "magic wielders" more or less and not the magic itself, she wanted to genuinely seperate others from having to make personal concessions for not being as "up to snuff" as other ponies, because that is what she knows is capable of happening because of these "special talents"...  She uses magic to control because she doesn't want to feel helpless herself, and if she can keep others under control she won't have to make these personal concessions ever again.

4. If there was EVER a pony deserving of her successes and vengeful vindication through the destruction of these, it was DEFINITELY Starlight, Starlight never invited the Mane 6 to "Our Town" they show up randomly via instructions of some little magic map,  and start to begin investigated it's political infrastructure based off their own intuition, there really is nothing to prove that if they had not been looking for answers themselves that they wouldn't have not just initially been allowed to leave... Yeah we know Starlight sees Twi and it becomes her goal to confirm an alicorn, but they asked to see the vault, they made it their mission to try to get to the bottom of what was going on there, and up to that point they were welcomed as guests and given crappy muffins to enjoy, not force assimilated by some brainwashing film or whatever, yeah AFTER they tried to step on Starlight's toes, Starlight put them in a room for seemingly causing anarchy in Our Town by making her followers go against the towns philosophy.. who knows what would happen if Starlight just let these ponies go? They would probably come back with an army to destroy everything she worked so hard at building?

5. When Starlight seeks revenge against Twilight and her friends she doesn't do this with the intention of "ending the world" she does this with the intention of ending a single friendship circle? So they can feel like she did when 1. She lost Sunburst (obviously) which makes her backstory make MORE sense in this situation bc she's proving part of her point about special abilities ending friendships by ruining friendships with special abilities. 2. So they can understand the loss of everything that matters most to them and EVERYTHING that they covet being taken away from them, but even this isn't even completely true, because if Starlight had succeeded at altering time in any one if these dystopias, they would have no recollection of what they had even lost, it's not like they get to keep all these memories? It's not like they have to feel the hurt from losing their true friendships? She's just preventing them from ever happening... At the end, when Twilight takes Starlight with her, to this dystopian wasteland that is left of Equestria, DO YOU NOT SEE Starlight's reaction? She doesn't want to end the world? She wants to make it better in her mind? She didn't want that to happen, she just wanted to remove Twilight Sparkle and her friends from being an ideological threat in concept in part of this new world? She wanted to make the world better through equality, not destroy it...? 

6. Starlight studied all these spells and had a genuine idea for what she could do to change Equestria for the better, these plots weren't for simply "revenge" or because she "lOvES ChAOs wooo" or because she simply wanted to become more magically powerful? She genuinely did what she did with purpose and conviction not just outright malice? When she says, "everything else I said was true, the only way to be happy is if we're all equal" or when she says "no I stopped them from bullying because we all should be equal, stopping the rainboom is just a bonus". She believes in this philosophy, she just as I've explained before, if she were to adhere to it herself that would add a lot of complications but ultimately contradict the purpose in why she is doing what she is doing. Starlight sacrifices everything BUT her magic to live in this little podunk nothing town in the middle of BFE, and she's sacrificed her time, any luxuries she did have, she's genuinely doing a lot to mobilize for this philosophy she's trying to spread, this did not come without her own hard work and sacrifice, something Twilight utterly invalidated in 2 episodes so she could feel accomplished as the princess of friendship.

I'm not going to justify Starlight's obvious lies, but I'm going to say there were objective reasons for some of them, Starlight is by far THE LEAST evil villain of all of My Little Pony, probably the entire franchise, being cunning doesn't add to the malice of someone's intentions, people act like personal competence always is supposed to be attributed to common sense, ummm Starlight has literally been taught from Filly to full grown mare up to this point that magic is the way, it's how she's taught herself? One could argue by extension she's breaking the chains of others that have her claimed inherently that she can't escape, but the point is her reformation... She just gets even better, we get to see that it isn't flawed intention that causes Starlight to make these mistakes, it's flawed thinking... If anything these mistakes should "humanize her" not start up a witch hunt against her because she's been inherently led to think differently than other ponies? Them giving her a chance makes the most sense, but I can give you all these reasons separately as I'm getting way off topic on the MLP gens post lol...

There's just a lot to suggest that Starlight may have never been "evil" on its face, rather misguided and prone to a different belief system that was self justified and by her own emotional competence and experiences... Starlight knows little of Hearrhswarming or the Wonderbolts yet, she can change one of Starswirls spells? She had her own intentions, her own interests, her own priorities, she didn't do what she did merely for power, she just couldn't give up her power to achieve what she wanted....

Started catching feelings for someone I can't talk to

It's like if I had a comprehensive chart of comparison there are some episodes of earlier gens that are MUCH better than some g.4 crappers, just like everything else it's hit or miss but there really are some g.4 episodes that are literally cartoon hall of fame, it's not a question as to which is the best generally...

Known by few but disliked or distrusted by the majority of these people, liked and acknowledged by very few, but I like them genuinely... Neutral with some, as we only ever have interacted casually, but I don't ever believe in majority rules, 2 friends have just as much of a right to be in a public place as a literal cult or any group of people that may hate them...

Alternatively I think some of the people that "don't like me" might if they actually knew who I was or what I was about... I'd love to make actual friends, sometimes humbling yourself to be around the right people is part of this process...

Tell the people that treated me kindly how much I genuinely appreciated them, and possibly try to tell a few others that genuinely have earned my respect or "interest" how I really feel about them.

Most of my family.. but there's two definitions of family in today's day and age as cultural as it has become to remove the literal genealogical association as to what constitutes as "family..."

I actually really like this, and one thing I really noticed is that Izzys VA is really starting to fall into her character, there's more emotion and more zaniness and they are giving her emphasis in these moments so it actually adds something to the context of the situation and it's not just silly and cute for no reason but actually kind of funny...

Of course love Zipp with her wishentine hat lol, don't think it's ceremonial just a winter hat lol 

But my BIG QUESTION, is why there are Unicorns and Earth Ponies at the wishentine concert and not at their respective locations celebrating Winter Wish Day and Wishiehoof?

Ummm there's a big emphasis on the importance of these traditions it seems like lol, guess some ponies are more into cultural intrigue about a tradition that's somepony else's that theyve only been at peace with for a year lol... That or Hasbro knew those fillers would be easier 

One other interesting thing is in MyM the plane is Zipps idea, but in TyT it's Izzy's, but they kept the theme of them making it together, it's proven the continuity isn't the same, but I do think they aired the episode around this time for this very purpose of theme relation...

I lived a romance like that once. It ended 2 years ago, but, it was a nice experience. Me, an alcoholic punk with a taste for mlp, and her, a fervient believer and responsible lady who even had a scholarship. All my long term relationships have been controlling isolated and even in some cases chemical EXCEPT my very first, I'm not attracted to the whole bar hopper, Twitter girl, chemically afflicted shit. I had a girlfriend who got me completely clean of everything the first time, she motivated me, I was working 10 HR shifts at this manufacturing plant while finishing school work, I had nothing but her though in between this, she didn't want me to talk to anyone, she was extremely envious of my past relationship, and so was the gf I had before that. Every single thing I would do or say would be some kind of comparison to her, or something about her and I drove me insane, she was manipulative, psychologically abusive but at the same time she wanted me to do well, in retrospect she was a bully and a terrible person literally picked on "world's cutest teen" candidates on FB, she was a girl that had like 7 brothers so there was an uncomfortable aspect to it, but I really wanted to make her happy, they were in shady shit, so I guess it came by her natural xD now my longest relationship "chemical codependence" by far THE WORST partnership I ever have been in, she one time cut my hand open with her finger nails for saying hi to a girl in public and she used to literally tell me what to wear in public, she would constantly threaten to kill herself if I tried to leave, and then lock herself in the bathroom and pretend like she was hurting herself to make me feel terrible, we dated again briefly when I was a vagrant bc I needed a place to stay, and she at this point was totally trash and in deep into chemical dependency, couldn't stand her honestly but I didn't have a choice at the time... She is a total narcissist, but we were cool being friends for awhile, she went to jail for manufacturing and planning an assault on some old dude, lol, she's pretty much the definition of trash lol 

The girl I had the best chemistry with I cut off the relationship early bc at that time I was into my own bullshit and had my own dependency problems, I'm a way different person today, but it had been long to late to rekindle anything with her and she had got married to someone else, but I'm over that to...

But I say be careful with the people you "get to know" because they turn out to be COMPLETELY different people once you start dating them, my WORST relationship shed portray herself as this cute, quiet, reserved, semi intelligent inquisitive being, and we talked for literally like a year before we dated, she turned out to be a total demon, she was a harpy in my life, and there is always the "there's two sides to every story bit" so I can try to be fair, I did do things without her I should have been allowed to do naturally as a human being with free will, but she did specify that she did not want me doing these things, I just couldn't take not being able to hang out with male friends because of THEIR GFS? Didn't make any sense? She was furious with me for hanging out with my lesbian friends at the time when she said not to? It's like WTF are you talking about, they are in a relationship and they like other girls? But you don't need all the context, I had to put up with her thieving lying, addict criminal parents and she eventually became just like them, every week was some ridiculous wacky adventure suited for a tv show, not a real life relationship... xD 

But yeah I only ever subdued her when she would go full chimp on me, but I did love her so I kept trying, so much wasted time.

My Little Pony and Friends and My Little Pony Tales slap honestly, but g.3 is hit or miss, it's a weird take, some how Princess Promenade what I consider to be the worst piece of MLP content I've ever seen, is the highest rated MLP film? Meanwhile A Very Minty Christmas is rated like trash and I thought it was actually kind of good lol... But I am biased for Christmas, but at least in it, there are character defectives that influence the story, a little adventure in the plotline, a unique portrayal of ponies personalities, lol, PP is just, "lolz ur a princess, now wut?"

I am a very diehard romantic, I get utterly consumed with one person, I hyper fixate on people, and I am a big time person for "true love". I really want the next person I date to be the last person, my heart doesn't want to go through the pain of losing someone I love but it really desires to love someone I can never lose...
