    For me this batch mostly got better with every episode but still felt just okay (with the songs being the only consistently good part). This episode though I really enjoyed, it was my favorite and got me to like Misty.

    It's not like G4 had a robust magic system lol. It's not a Brandon Sanderson novel y'all, it's going to continue to work the way plot demands in any given episode and it's silly to assume that it's going to stay consistent with vague mechanics presented in early media.

    TYT made me like Pipp a lot, she is a really fun character and imo AJ Bridel brings to her a lot of the same energy that made Tabitha's Rarity so greet. No disrespect to Sofia Carson tho, she just really wasn't given much to do in ANG.

    What splitting of resources? Two separate studios are working on the shows. And MYM is a big series, there is no reason to assume that TYT is being produced on the budget that otherwise would have gone to MYM. Come on, people.

    I don't think it's going to be serialized enough to have arcs. I'd go as far as to speculate that it's not even going to have plot heavy, status quo altering season premiere(s) and finale(s) we are used to, with that kinda stuff being relegated to the specials.

    I guarantee that it's not going to be elaborated on in the show to the degree you'd prefer (because it doesn't matter) but perhaps comics could cover it, that'd be neat

    It got solved in the film; magic disappeared cuz pony tribes stopped being friends and reappeared when Sunny fixed this.
