I personally find it too hard to make a good-looking show-accurate OC when basing it off a real person (like myself) so I opt for ponifying a personality or gimmick instead. So basically, don't make an OC of yourself, make a pony that would be interested in one or two things you're into, then imagine how a pony like that would dress up, or what colors match that feeling/aesthetic, and it might come out better.

Addition Details: Although not an interpretation of me in horse form, I've grown super attached to this OC and use her as a mascot for my indie games company. I think all the horse famous folks of the past are just expanding their talents to all the other things they enjoy too. We're all in multiple fandoms I think, so a brony is still a brony at heart. But I can't blame some for dropping the label if it's hurting their career paths. 

I personally hope to see the day where the pony aesthetic and message of being good to each other carries over to things outside of MLP and ponies are just a thing the way furry/anthro is. Not tied to just one show, but a fandom about an idea anyone could play with and adapt.

This thread makes me wish Horse Game from Equidev was finished so bronies could be linking up for Pony vs Pony deathmatches! 

That game was so fun, it's a shame the devs are so quiet...

Any Smash Bros, any Zelda, most Pokemon, and Sonic Mania. But my favorite game by far? Probably Undertale.

I'm brand spanking-new here and I'm super pumped about sharing this game I've poured years and years of hardboiled love into. It's the ultimate pony RPG I've been dreaming up since high school and here I am with a college degree in Gaming & Simulation, finally months away from launching this Pokemon MLP mashup that I just KNOW people will go nuts for!

This game looks jaw-dropping gorgeous and I'm eager to see where you go with it. Designing menus and interfaces that are colorful and easy to read at a glance is a skill I'm working super hard to perfect right now. Top-notch stuff, looking forward to more progress, finishing a game is the hardest part after all!

(P.S. those diagonal health bars with the pony faces looks so good I outta use it in my next pony action RPG)
