  1. Yeah. The only thing that comes up (for me, I share a name with a few celebrities) is my LinkedIn profile, which means that I'm doing a reasonably good job of hiding my internet footprints.
  2. I love cheese - the mouldier, the better.
  3. I scored 142 on the Norwegian Mensa test, but it was online so I'm not sure that counts. I have read that most people who take the online test and then take it in person afterwards usually score 10-15 points lower.
  4. Smell, definitely. Sight, taste, touch and hearing are too good to give up. Touch would probably be my second choice if I absolutely had to
  5. Not me, bowling is awful and it's baffling that people actually consider it a sport. I went as part of a work trip a few weeks ago and just sat there bored the entire time.
  6. Strawberries, blueberries, (red) grapes, pineapple, apples. I eat blueberries every day for health benefits even though they're not my absolute favourite taste-wise, so they should probably get my vote here. Voted for strawberries anyway though.
  7. Smoked salmon, some mixed olives and some Neufchâtel cheese
  8. I'm on salt, which is a Christian dating app. It's unavoidable that looks will be *a* factor as they're what you see before you even get the chance to match with anybody, but when that happens then there's definitely the possibility to develop strong connections with people. As I said before, I'm not a model (not ugly either though) and I've had very good experiences there.
  9. Yeah, I've been to two while at uni and they were both awful. One was very loud and very dark, and the other was very loud and had beer all over the floor. Never again thx.
  10. Scotland 2x, Ireland 3x, Wales 2x, Sweden 4x (plus lived there for a year), Norway 6x, Iceland 1x, Finland 1x, Denmark 1x, Estonia 1x, Russia 1x, Germany 2x, Netherlands 1x, Belgium 2x, Luxembourg 1x, France 32x, Switzerland 2x, Austria 1x, Slovenia 1x, Poland 1x, Czechia 1x, Spain 14x, Portugal 2x, Morocco 1x, Turkey 1x, the US 3x. I'm well-travelled within the context of Europe (particularly France as my parents would often take us there for long weekends as a kid), but outside of that I've barely been anywhere.
  11. Definitely, just not right away. By the time I turn 30 I'd probably seriously consider at least one though
  12. Not really. There's 1-2 of me on the pictures thread on here, though - can't really be bothered to delete them.
  13. I've been going pretty early recently, probably around 9pm. Works well for me
  14. I try to go to the gym three times per week. Realistically it's probably been closer to two times a week on average over the past month. My excuse is that the dark nights demotivate me from training after work, but if I really were determined that shouldn't stop me - need to get back into that.
  15. Signed up to a dating app a month ago and have been on dates with five different women during that time (more than in my entire life previously), and have over 300 matches currently. Suddenly feeling a little more confident that I'm probably not going to stay single forever! So as a sidenote, I'd highly recommend dating apps to anyone on here feeling like they find it hard to find someone. I'm not a model and I've had good success on them - and I think the dating app format is especially useful for someone like me who finds it categorically impossible to tell whenever someone's interested or not, it's useful to have a simple binary yes/no answer there.
  16. 93.6kg. I'm 190cm That's 205lbs and just under 6ft3 for Americans
  17. Bought a new car (well not brand new, it was made in 2020). Is spending money really an accomplishment?
  18. Freedom of speech is valuable, and should be preserved at all cost. Diversity of thought and ideas is what drives change and innovation within society. Plus, what kind of person are you if you don't let someone speak up against you? This trend of trying to censor anyone who doesn't spout whatever the mainstream narrative of the day happens to be is appalling. "When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say.” - GRRM
  19. None. I'm O+ so my blood is compatible for 80%+ of the world (only the Rhesus negatives can't accept it), so sometimes I feel a little guilty about not having done it before. Should I start?
  20. Somewhat. I don't buy many things impulsively, but I do sometimes have a problem with wanting to buy the absolute best of something when I need a version of that specific thing (and a much cheaper alternative will do). I'm experiencing this dilemma currently: I'm selling my car due to a slow-fault with the dual clutch transmission and will get quite a good price for it, and am debating either getting something cheap and reliable that'll enable me to save about half (or maybe more) of what I'll sell my current one for, or to put in the same value of the car again to buy something more expensive.
  21. It's my name, repeated a further two times because I'm the antithesis of imaginative
  22. Carrefour as they have pretty much everything. We don't get them in the UK though (at least I've never seen one), my favourite here is Marks & Spencer. It's a little bit pricier (although people really overexaggerate the difference, it's quite small) but the quality of most things is significantly better.
  23. About 125mph, or 200ish km/h. It was terrifying and I'll never do it again.
