Well, it's not the katakana I wanted, but I guess it doesn't matter... 

It's readable, but it doesn't make sense.
The first character for fire ( hi / 火 ) is fine.
But the second character is incomplete. Slash is 2 kanji ( giri / 斬り ). You only used to first character, so it's like saying "Fire Sla--"

And even if you use all three kanji ( higiri / 火斬り ), it's only technically correct. You still sound like a caveman, but it gets the point across. It's a fire slash. Not the same as flaming slash, but it'd settle for it.

I see.... I didn't know that japan has caveman....

But thats the shortest i can think of..... 

Can you get me a shorter kanji of flaming slash? Or the one that you gave me before is the shortest kanji?.... Or a play of words or what not?

I think that really is the shortest.  I'm sorry.
