I have a pet one-eyed field mouse that my cat brought home a few years ago. Due to it only being young at the time and having lost its sight in one eye, I ended up keeping and caring for it. It's about four years old now which is surprising considering that I was under the impression that they only lived for two to three years in captivity. But she is still going strong and looks really healthy. Lately, she likes to bite on the bars about two in the morning to get my attention.

Also, I have about four or five leopard slugs. Although they're not really pets. They just randomly appear on the kitchen floor late at night at this time of year. I sort of leave them be and just clean up after them in the morning. :P

that's so cute! I used to take in injured garden snakes people found while they were mowing or doing yard work. Keep them until they were healed up, and then they get released back into the woods :BrightMacContent:

We've got leopard slugs around here! I found a massive one under some old radishes I was digging up, nearly 6 inches long! Lucky for me (or unlucky for the garden crops) there's so many during slug season that I don't have to keep any around as pets

  2. so jealous of your snails! I've always wanted to keep some, the most interactions with snails I have right now is picking them off the tomato and corn plants :please:

I do raise chickens though! I guess that's considered unusual in other parts of the world (or just my country), but I live in a rural area so it's pretty common. Though a lot of people don't just raise them as pets, like i do. In terms of breeds I've got two americaunas, one silkie rooster, a prairie blue bell, a dark brahma hen and rooster, and a cuckoo maran who just had 5 chicks back in june. They're getting big, but still adorable! (and only one of them is a rooster, lucky us!)

    “tileset grass texture”

I kept looking for grass even though what I’m supposed to be looking for is dirt :scoots:

that was one of my last searches too, actually! im revamping the grass tiles for my rpg :o

the actual last thing I searched was "granny square drawstring bag pattern" though, for updating my crochet projects!

They do indeed, but I'm somehow surprised at how peoples are into classical or modern classical these days, it will never get old it would seem, and that's nice. Also what a fine taste you have:squee:

Absolutely! I love how music sticks with people for centuries, it's pretty amazing :BrightMacContent:

  5. My absolute favorite is Dvorak's 9th Symphony Finale! I played it in my orchestra a couple years back, and got some sweet bassoon solos+features. It's just a really fun and nice sounding piece! I've also been enjoying Bach's Suite No.3 in D, and Peteris Vask's String Quartet No.4:1 Elegy, which is a contemporary piece. People really underestimate modern arrangements :coco:

  6. Thought it'd be fun to start a discussion about the g3 characters. When I was a kid, Minty was my absolute favorite character in the animated episodes/movies, but my favorite toy was Starcatcher. I think I would've liked my toy Mintys better if they'd had the coloration of the animated version, with the pretty teal coat and pink+white mane instead of the light green body+white mane my toys had. I also much preferred the animated version of Sweetberry to her toy.

What's your favorite G3 pony, and do you also like their toy/animated version?

  7. I guess I left the mlp fandom for a while? I don't necessarily refer to myself as a "fan" (though I technically am anyways) but I still make art of it and customize some of the toys. I won't be getting back into it whenever gen 5 rolls around but I think I'll stick with older generations' circles

I def left fandoms like steven universe, I just couldn't stand the people in them and I just got tired of the show itself. I know it's not entirely the show creators' faults, but only releasing 5 episodes every several months and having 4 of them be fillers? Cmon :smolder:

  8. I'm not the most experienced person in the world, but I am in a healthy long-term relationship with someone who's my best friend, and I'll say the cliche: your significant other should be your best friend. Not necessarily someone you were best friends with before dating (though that's totally fine), but still someone who you're very close to and can just be yourself around. There's also no age limit on when you find a person you really like, everyone's different.

That said, romantic relationships are in no way essential to living a good, happy life. You can be perfectly happy just having close friends around, even spending your life platonically with a friend, and that's totally ok! But that doesn't mean friendships are protected from the risks of romance. Friend breakups happen, unfortunately, and a lot of the 'rules' to maintaining a functioning, healthy romantic relationship are the exact same when applied to friendships.

Yes, bad things happen in romantic partnerships. I'm no stranger to those, and it took me many, many years to recover (therapy is your friend, lol). But it's up to each individual person to try the best they can to ensure that relationships, platonic or otherwise, remain happy and healthy.

  9. I used to be adamantly against drinking, mainly because of my emetophobia and how I was so scared i'd get vomit-y hungover. I lightened up after a while, but even after turning old enough to do so legally, I didn't really drink casually until several months later. I found out the hard way that my GERD-having stomach (as well as my possible gastroparesis) does NOT like hard alcohols. That was not a night I wanna relive, and I only had one small glass of pomegranate liquer (it was SO good though)

Now I only drink wine and beer, lightly. Sometimes I'll have a special 'silly night' with my roommate and watch old barbie/mlp movies with wine because it's easier on the body, but nothing more.

  10. oof, thankfully mine are very mild (the stories at least), but still annoying. back in sophomore year of high school I bled all the way through my light gray jeans and it was super noticeable :sealed: luckily my cramps were so bad I got to leave classes early! yay endometriosis....?

and then another occurrence when I bled while I was sleeping and bled through two means of protection, my sweatpants, AND my bedsheets. luckily I use a mattress cover. which still has a sizeable stain:please:

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

Hi! I've been a fan of my little pony nearly my whole life, and I've been a fan of MLP:FIM since season one aired! I dropped out of the fanbase for a little while but now I'm reentering c:

hello everyone! I'm Bubble Tea, and I'm new to this forum. I collect figures, mainly from g3, I make mlp illustrations, and I've just recently started customizing figures. Hoping to find my people here and get into good mlp-oriented discussions ^^
