I'm currently making my way around Grady Hendrix's horror novels, I've read Horrorstor and I'm now on Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires. Next is My Best Friend's Exorcism!

I'm trying to get a hold of Jack Ketchum's Off Season, which inspired "The Hills Have Eyes", but it's been like pulling teeth trying to find copies. Can't find it in any book stores or libraries, so I guess I'm gonna have to go online for it.

I love horror novels In non-horror I'm about to start reading a book I got from work that is a 1960s account of the Nuremberg Trials, and along with that a book from the 1940s about a woman's experience in escaping nazi germany. WWII isn't my favorite historical subject, but I love antique books and just so happened to have these two with similar subjects, so I figured I'd read them back to back.

Also also also, I've been studying a couple of entomology textbooks, and I'm about to delve into one of the highest rated textbooks on coffee, how it's made, and its growing process.

So yeah, I really like books, and I tend to read a lot of them at once haha

I have many! My oldest is a scar over my eyebrow (yes it's visible) from when I fell off a chair as a 3 year old and landed face-first onto a metal dog bowl. I have another very large scar across my knee from when I fell into a wicker basket at age 4 and one of the wooden pieces sticking out sliced my leg. I've got one on the back of my head from it getting busted open on a broken metal door, several on my knees from falling onto gravel/off a stage, another on my hand from the same falling off the stage incident, a burn scar on my arm from a sheet pan (was making shrinky dinks for those who remember those), several scars from cat scratches, a cluster of scars on my hand from a german shepherd bite, general scar tissue around my thumbnail from when I accidentally closed a car door on it (I was only a few centimeters away from losing the thumb!), and a nasty scar over my big toe from when I opened a door on it, which landed me in the ER. Not a lot of flesh on the big toe

I think that's it! I don't scar easy, I'm just really clumsy (and used to work with animals. Train your dogs, folks)

Hey, Sweetberry is my favorite G2 too! I love her "magic kitchen" version with all the leafy swirls on her back, reminds me of G1 Sugarberry

I grew up with the early G3 so it's very close to me. I think the character design is way underrated, some of the colors on the ponies are so nice and they're much more visually interesting than a lot of G4 ponies in my opinion. I strongly dislike G3.5 though, and Core 7 G3 isn't my favorite I don't blame anyone for liking them though. I'm also a big fan of G1, and I think G2 is very underrated! I adore the art style on the merchandise for G2.

The specialty shelf! This is where all my favorites go. I'm working on getting a collection of Minty from every generation, and that G1 Sugarberry is the start of my "sweetberry" ponies collection! Just need magic kitchen sweetberry from G2 and a G3 Sweetberry to complete it. The two ponies on the far right on the bottom shelf are customs painted by me!

I included these other images of RD and Rarity from the MLP Leisure Afternoon Series since I didn't have them yet when I got the picture, and unfortunately everything's been put in boxes because of the move so I can't get a picture.

I got the sign at a goodwill last year, I thought it was too good to not put with my pony collection!

I also have the G4.5 set on the left including Minty, but this is the only picture I have of it. The empty space in the middle is where the set I grabbed was sitting

So yeah, that's pretty much all of it! I've got a rainbow dash blanket I've had since i was 13 as well as a custom pony plushie in the works, but no pictures of those yet. Also not pictured is my MLP trading card collection- it's pretty big, so that will have to come later! (I have a bunch of rare cards though, they're cool looking!)

I don’t think it’s completely out of the question for season 1 rainbow dash. To be honest, she was kind of an asshole that entire season before her character started to develop and improve. 
Just as SasQ said, as long as there’s something to frustrate her to build up to the yelling, it could be in character. Would especially make sense if Rainbow was learning a lesson on patience as well: something she needed to learn in season 1. 
 

Rainbow comes off as the youngest in the mane 6 to me, at least mentally and attitude-wise, so I don’t think it’s impossible that she could have an outburst like that. Maybe Rainbow is dealing with a personal stress? Maybe she never wanted to come along but wanted to support her friends? Lots of options there

Well, to be honest Hasbro (which is already a cheap money-centered company) has certainly cheaped out on the youtube shorts and for SURE has reduced the quality in the toy line, but I'm hoping that the official show for G5 will be alright. The movie wasn't my favorite but it looked polished, and with the official show using assets from the movie it should look alright. It's all up to the animation quality now

I'm interested! I really like Discord (or want to, I guess, liked him better before season 6), so I'm hoping they're using this as an opportunity to explore how he's outlived all his friends.

Or perhaps, he's simply visiting a different dimension from where FiM takes place, where Twilight isn't able to maintain harmony? Or maybe it's Discord's fault that all the pony races separated? Again, very interested to see his involvement in all of this

Either way, it's IDW comics, so doubtful that it's going to impact the show very much, but who knows

It's happened a couple times with my ponysona Render back when they were still new and very simple, just being a unicorn with brown fur and a beige/brown gradient mane with a generic paper and pencil cutie mark. I used to get mad until I got older and realized how unoriginal their design was

Thankfully this hasn't happened recently (that I know of), but I did have an issue several years back of someone blatantly copying my oc Nebula (and a couple others, actually) right down to picking the exact colors she has and putting them in the exact same place (same colors on the mane and body, right down to her splotchy purple markings and freckles). Thankfully got them to take it down, though they tried to put up a fight by posting the "palette" they used and "found on google," except the time stamp on the image was set AFTER I had called them out

Just make your own palettes, folks. It's not hard.

I thought Netflix was the best streaming service for a while, but at this point I'm welcoming them dropping off the streaming platform. It's their own fault, I don't know what they expected. When you punish password sharing (despite family plans and multiple screens being sub options? of course people are going to share for those), repeatedly raise prices, and worse, pull people into the platform with amazing shows just to cancel them after one season to save money (rest in peace Dark Crystal Age of Resistance ), of COURSE people are going to cancel their subs.

Such a shame since Netflix was doing so well with putting out animated content.

Hopefully Hasbro moves all of its MLP content to a different platform like Hulu or HBO before Netflix tanks completely, there's a lot of shows on their that don't deserve to go down in flames with it.

Have to agree with the animation comments (mostly with Zipp's flight animation, everything else is looking ok), but hopefully they're still working on getting the animation cleaned up and less stiff for the official release

Sorry, I just saw this! Unfortunately you'll have to crop it yourself since I did everything on one layer (MS Paint), but theoretically you should be able to download the image and erase the background (and other characters) just fine if the pixels hold up

Throwing in a drawing of pinkie pie I did last week   My version of her, at least. I love her poofy curly hair, but it can be hard to draw

Hmm, well.. since it's a hasbro movie, I'd assume it was natural causes, or something cliche like getting sick and slowly passing away while Sunny grows up. But more realistically I'd have to assume there was some sort of accident with his research?

Kinda makes you wonder about what happened to Sunny's mom as well, since she's not even mentioned in the movie as far as I can remember. Maybe she was the one who inspired Argyle to strive for unity between all ponies, making it his goal in her honor after she passed away?
