    I don't know what's more stupid in early gen Sonic the Hedgehog video games, the fact that Sonic can still drown with invincibility, or the fact he can drown but still breathe in space.

      I guess developers thought giving Sonic an astronaut suit in stage acts in space in Sonic Adventure 2 would be too cumbersome for the player. :D
