It's Rap today. Let's get going.
I set very high standards for rap songs. They have to have a real purpose other then just telling about how great the rapper is.

    Rise- Flobots

This is an awesome group and they made a great song. The hook is catchy and is in my opinion is simple enough to be good. I hope you enjoy this song. Look out tomorrow for some good ol' fashioned blues.

    Mayday!
White Flag Warrior (especially recommended if you like rap/rock)

    Today's we got's the swag!

I'm sorry, today we have some pop. Pop isn't my favorite genre, but it is a genre and I promised it. So the song of today is
    Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus

Ok, this is not a bad song. It's actually insanely catchy. Miley is one of my favorite pop artists other then P!nk. The music video may have caused some controversy, and on that note so has Miley. Anyway's have some pop up above.

Hey, time for song 2 as it is Wednesday. Today's genre is electronic.

The song for day 2 is
    The Robots- Kraftwerk

Made in 1977 this isn't the most complicated song you've ever heard. But, it is by a historic group. Kraftwerk was one of the first electronic music groups. It's rather catchy. Though a lot of it is repetitive, so if your not a fan of repetitive songs this probably isn't the one for you. I for one do enjoy it. It also has that retro sci-fi feel to it. Especially the way everything is set up in the video.
Oh if you don't know what this is all about, check out the first one. It tells all the details.

This is one of the only country songs we do, because she loves country...

I'm the one with the guitar.

Well, today I was sitting in my spanish class working on a drawing that I was going to post on here after I was done. I had worked on it during 1st, 2nd, and lunch, and it was almost finished. She asked us to clear our desk for the test. I did and as she was passing out the test, she looked down at my stuff. The picture was on top, and the notes we had taken were right underneath. (You couldn't see them at all.) She asked who's it was and I thought she was talking about it being to far in the isle, I scooted it toward me, she turned around and quickly scooped up my notes and my drawing, crumpled them up, and then threw them away. (You know I get angry really easy and stuff)... I really didn't want to cause a scene though so I broke a few mechanical pencils to get the anger out... That really was what happened today...
At lunch this guy had his convertible parked in the front of the school, and the hood was down... Me and my friends noticed it was about to rain, and we were laughing our asses off, thinking about how bad it would be for him if it did rain. (He had just gotten new leather seats...) It started sprinkling, the guy was nowhere to be found and then it started down pouring... We watched as the uncovered car was getting filled with water... After about 10 minuets, an old lady came out to put the hood up. She didn't know there was a button that made the roof go up automatically, so she just started tugging on it to get it up. It got stuck about 5 minuets in. At this time the entire lunchroom was bursting out laughter, and yet she continued to try and tug it closed. She finally got it closed 10 minuets after she started... After she got back inside the rain stopped completely... That was the single most funny thing that happened this year.

Yeah... You probably guessed by the title this was going to be about my family...
Ok, today I went to my cousins birthday party... My uncle owns a pool and rented two bounce houses... I really don't enjoy going to family things... I find my cousins very annoying. (mostly because they really can't do anything wrong...) It's like my mom takes me there, so I can see how she expects me to act. I try to fit in with my family, but no matter how hard I try, I always get overlooked.
The people in my family are BIG sport fans... Every one of them does a sport of some kind. I don't like sports at all... I find football to be really barbaric and just plain dumb, and I find basketball to be boring... Wrestling was the only sport I was involved in and I had a pretty good record last year, but I just don't want to do it anymore... They expect me to be in sports and love them, but honestly I just don't... I don't think they understand that my real passion is music... I could care less about sports teams...
I really don't like my extended family... Any help I can get would be great, but until then...

Ok, I'm going to try to make this quick because I have a football game to go to tonight. I told my "friend" that I was a brony and I love to watch MLP: FIM. He said alright, and just went on his merry way. (I told him because he asked if I liked MLP) Turns out he's been making me a laughing stock in the sister school to us. I found this out today on the bus. He started telling people that I love My Little Pony, and that escalated to people calling me bi-sexual. I told them (In a calm voice) that a majority of the fanbase is heterosexual. They didn't want to hear it. Now my "friend" has told everyone that I am bi-sexual (which I'm not). I don't like conflict so I really can't fight him, nor verbally scoff at him. I'm more along the lines of peacefully ignoring him. I found myself clenching the bus seat so hard it made imprints on it. I really don't like getting into conflicts so I just sat there listening to this happening...
I'll show all of them, by wearing my MLP shirt that I'm going to get soon.

Ok the 4th review is on my favorite guitar that I have played so far, my Epiphone SG!

Price- 10/10 At $280.00 this guitar is cheap, but it doesn't sound cheap, or look cheap for that matter. I would pay $500.00 tops for this guitar

Durability- 9/10 I've had this guitar for about 2 years now and during those two years I've accidentally ran it into many walls and it actually fell on the ground once. IT DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SCRATCH!!! This guitar sounds just as good as when I got it.

Ease of play- 9/10 This guitar is great for any player. The neck is large enough for big hands, but small enough for small hands.

Hardware- 10/10 here it is from the website itself...

Body mahogany Neck mahogany, glued in Scale 24.75” Neck Profile SlimTaper™ “D” Nut width 1.68 Fingerboard rosewood, 22 fret Fingerboard Radius 12” Neck Pickup Alnico Classic™ humbucker Bridge Pickup Alnico Classic Plus™ humbucker Bridge LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic Tailpiece Stopbar Controls Neck pickup: 1-Volume, 1-Tone/ Bridge pickup: 1-Volume, 1-Tone w/full-size 500K O potentiometers Hardware Nickel Tuners Grover® 14:1 ratio Color Pitch Black (PB)
Sound- 9/10 This guitar has such a wide variety of sound it's amazing. It can do heavy metal to country to pop at the snap of a finger. The sound can get weird around the 12th fret of the lower strings, but what guitar doesn't do that.

Total 47/50 Highest scoring guitar yet... This guitar is almost perfect and I would recommend it to anyone who plays and wants to play the guitar.

Well... today I probably laughed more then I've ever laughed before. A few of my friends and I were fooling around in Algebra 2 today. I don't think I learned anything in that class today... (I know pitiful) Anyways the iPod ban on the bus is getting harder and harder to tolerate. I'm the last one off and when you have a solid hour and a half with nothing to do, it really gets on your nerves. I tried reading, but I'm one of those people who needs music to pay attention to anything really. Talking is out of the question, because my friends are some of the first stops. So I am lost with what I should do with that.
I got an 83% on my math quiz pretty darn happy about that. Then I got a 89% on my Spanish quiz. So yeah school is going pretty good.

So for the people actually interested about hearing about my day, I had a load of tests today. I had 3 all together. One in Biology, one in Algebra 2, and one in Geography... I think I failed them... The last question on the Algebra 2 quiz didn't even make sense...
Anyway's other then tests... My band added 4 new songs to our set list... I am so excited about this because one of them I'll fly Higher by Mandopony and Acousticbrony... The other songs are just as awesome. "Perfect", by Pink. "Imagine" John Lennon, and I even fit in "Rolling In The Deep"... I know Awesome right! We have our first gig next week. I will be sure to record it and put it on here for all of you... (that actually care)
So there you have how my day was.

My second review will be on my 2nd guitar the Acoustic-Electric, Ovation iDea.

Price- 8/10 This guitar was bought for $880.00, it may seem pricey, but as you will see it is worth the money.

Durability- 9/10 This guitar is practically indestructible. It has been hit against walls and dropped on the floor and, it has suffered almost no damage whatsoever.

Hardware- 10/10 This guitar looks anything, but traditional with it's white satin body and black hardware. The body is built in the signatuire Ovation bowl (most players find this very comfortable to hold). It features a built in MP3 player, microphone, tuner, and even some pre-recorded jam tracks. Just awesome. The neck is made out of Rosewood. This guitar also features a pre-amp.

Ease of play- 8/10 As I said before this guitar is EXTREMELY comfortable to hold and to play. The fret-board is very well made for almost every hand shape.

Sound- 8/10 This guitar is very well rounded. The best thing for this guitar is an acoustic patch, but it can be used with distortion. (Just be prepared for A LOT of feedback.). This guitar is best for acoustic music and jazz, but it can also be used for metal.

Total- 43/50 This guitar is just awe inspiring. The thing that really puts this guitar over the top is it's hardware... Ovation hit it home with this one.

Well, today I found out that I have an F in world geography, with no explanation whatsoever. Ugh, teachers and me do not get along. Then I realized that I had lost my homework for English in the confusion. I tried to get it done as quick as possible, only to find that I had it stuffed inside my bag, completed. I also must say my bus driver is getting on my nerves as well... He banned electronics including music. I was getting off and he started yelling at me to take off my earphones when riding the bus. I was on there today and these kids had earphones on and they just walked right off without getting yelled at... Yeah... not a good day today.
Anyways, my band is doing really well, we have a set list of 12 songs so far. I would name them off, but I kinda don't want too. Were practicing tomorrow and playing at the cities art festival this Saturday. I have to say it is fun being in a band.
Oh yeah I almost forgot I have to read Moby Dick... I know I should be excited, but being forced to read a book is not that fun. Don't get me wrong I love the book, I just don't like reading two books at once.
