  1. Cyril stood by as all the chaos ensued. He simply shook his head at the end of it, looking at each remaining pony. "I'm speaking for the people here. Sort this out, or you might have renegades on your hooves. Be thankful we aren't in public, or it might have happened already." Cyril huffed and turn tail, trotting back to the gate room.

When Cyril returned, a hooffull ponies approached him.

    "What happened?"
    "We heard yelling."
    "You need to stop this!"

Cyril was visibly emotionless to the situation. "Nothing to worry about, everypony. They're having personal quarrels which dont concern anypony else. I'm stepping in as temporary lead for now, as the others who have the actual authority are simply arguing. But really..." Cyril paused to levitate a box to the middle of the room. Cyril climbed atop the crate and amplified his voice through MIRVI.

"Who here really IS in charge? What is authority without power to back it up? The mare we currently call leader, Scarlett, is backed up by no more than three or some ponies. Is this leadership? Is this a pony you would look up to? Aside from fix the filters, what has she done? It was a joint effort, we all fixed those filters. Did she sit back here with us, healing the sick, fixing the broken that lied helplessly? They pranced around, exploring. They argued over command. There should be no leader, no. There needs to be democracy." Cyril really started to get into what he was saying. He was now the mutinizer. His speech not only dragged the attention of all in the room, it raised some cheers of agreement. There were few who opposed.

"If you would let me, I would be the spokesperson for this democracy. If any pony feels the have their own right to try for the position, speak now."
Cyril looked around the room, hoping at least one pony would oppose him for the position. Not one hoof moved.
"We're with you!" One pony shouted.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. You're with each other. This is a group effort! If we're to survive, we need each other, hoof in hoof!" The statement granted Cyril a few more whoops of agreement.

"If the others wish to join in, or possible one take over, and we all see them fit to do so, we should permit them. This is not about excluding them, but organizing ourselves. We need to get things done! I suggest starting with securing suitable living space aboard this ship. If we're going to be here for a while, we need each pony to have ready access to every day needs. Anypony may work on any thing, as long as everypony works and everything gets done. If you do not work, you should not receive the benefits! This is a life or death situation. You work, and life is your paycheck. Spend it well, I suggest."
Cyril stepped down from the crate and returned it to its previous placement.

"First, let's organize this room neatly so that all equipment may be easily accessed when needed. Afterwards, sort out living spaces. Privacy is of least concern aboard this ship. If it's required, make accommodations for those ponies who need it. If any pony wishes to argue this decisions, do speak now" he urged. Nopony opposed him, as most agreed with the ideas. Those that did were either too lazy or too scared to speak up against him.

  2. Scarlett listened to what Cyril and his machine had to say, and was quite annoyed. Not showing it, she thought to herself Oh, I'd say with almost five decades of leadership experience I'm more than perfectly qualified to lead but simply said "Two things. First of all, what qualities do I have or not have which give me the inability to lead? And second, why bring me up? I'm not currently leading anything other than the science teams, and I did not have plans otherwise."

Cyril stood visibly annoyed. He always hated when his words were twisted, especially since he didn't say she wasn't a good leader. "I did not mean you are not suited to lead, and I never meant to imply such. I'm afraid the ponies themselves are saying otherwise. Prove them wrong. The only one so far who has given them aid is Sapphire, but she has her anger management issues. While I understand that some ponies are more valuable to our current situation, each and every one of the ponies here and anywhere have thoughts, feelings, and opinions." Cyril let out a sigh out of stress. Maybe he shouldn't have gotten into all of it.

"Look... My intent isn't to irritate or upset, but to raise awareness. I want what is best for every pony. If you believe I am out of line, I will leave." Cyril stood tall, hoping he wouldn't be sent off. He had genuine concerns.

  3. "Well, if you've got news, now's the time to tell us."

    (Phone post)

Cyril looked briefly at each pony attending and turned to MIRVI. "Mir, I want you to read the notes you took titled 'Ship Conversations', please. Out loud."

MIRVI contracted a series of buzzes, similar to a new computer starting up for the first time. It spoke with slight variation in tone, emphasizing important parts of the notes. It was hard to tell if it was a male or female by voice, as Cyril tried his hardest to make it ungendered. It sounded like a matured child almost.

"Ponies aboard the ship titled 'Destiny' have conversed in varyingly mutinous tones. Considerably dangerous to all staff authority or commanding personnel. Other ponies converse of the dangers and fears of the current situation. While the filtrating air has settled them adequately, new problems are assured to arise. Action is advised to avoid a possible uprising. Estimated time is two days if recently noted behavior continues. These notes are in no way made to offend, insult, segregate, or enact harm unto anypony who might come upon them." With the end of the notes, MIRVI whirred around to Cyril's other side and floated patiently.

Cyril cleared his throat, feeling rather sheepish. "As the notes said, I don't mean to insult, only out the facts. We need a real leader. Scarlett, you're a wonderful scientist I'm sure, but I've come to a cold conclusion that you're not the most fit out of all ponies here to lead. Even Sapphire here lacks many qualities which, according to Mir, a leader should have."

Cyril shifted his weight and took a deep breath, hoping he wouldn't be strangled at any moment. "I would say make me leader, but I think that is rather greedy. Also, I tend to... Well, disregard feelings of others. That automatically disqualifies me." Cyril took a quick look at all of the ponies. If anything, Cyril wasnt a pony person. He was better with machines and science over anything.

"I don't know much of the personal events which have ensued out of public sight, but those need to also fall into consideration" he stated as plainly as he could. Cyril turned slightly to see the mare couple in the doorway, glancing only briefly before turning back to the others.

  4. Cyril was one of many ponies who assisted in the transportation of the calcite-sand compound into the ship, Destiny. Cyril had been taking notes with the assistance of a VI who existed inside one of Cyril's creations. The Mk. I Rel-x VI droid, or MIRVI, was a powerful assistant, but not much of a companion. MIRVI was essentially a sphere, but 'a sphere' did not adequately describe the pure science of it. MIRVI was a magically levitated multifunctional assistant which obeyed only Cyril. It was bound to follow a microchip which he implanted in his watch. Cyril tended to simply call it Mir. It was a well crafted work, yes, but it had it's own flaws. It's dulled, golden yellow metal plating had sand all over it, prompting Cyril to give it a quick wipe down with his magic. You know, I should have included some sort of self cleaning... This is getting tiresome.

Cyril did his best in transporting as much sand into the right places, but ponies had been rather frantic as of late. Cyril took note of the discussions and whispers which haunted the halls and the gate room. Some spoke of the incompetence of the staff, and others were simply scared for their lives. Cyril made sure MIRVI took digital notes for later use on these conversations.

Cyril was directed to take the calcite from the separation machine down to engineering, which would then be put into air filtration mechanisms.

    @,

Cyril approached the red pegasus and bowed quickly. He had noticed his presence among the other authorities, so he assumed he was with them. "Sir, I've been sent to collect the calcite and take it to engineering. They told me to tell you, keep up the good work." As soon as he got there, he left with the containers of calcite in his magical grasp.

It was a short journey to engineering. Cyril had taken time upon arrival of Destiny to have MIRVI create a map of the ship based on the movements and vibrations created by the other ponies on board. It was inaccurate in some places, but it wouldn't be long before the blanks were filled.

    @@Mario3D13,@,

Once Cyril arrived at the engineering room, he carefully set the containers of calcite down on the dull plated flood, emitting a swift pumf from landing. He noticed the vibrantly colored ponies before him as one crystal pony, and one pegasus who had been spotted with the other authorities, such as Scarlett. "Calcite from processing, sir" he uttered, and quickly bowed. "I've means to talk to the leader here, Scarlett. Do you know where I might find her? It's rather disturbing news. Unless, of course, I've been mislead and Scarlett is not the leader of this operation."

  5. I've been wanting to get a drawing of a scene from the backstory of my OC, Cyril Coltefeller, ever since I revised him.

In his backstory, he demonstrates the first ever digital watch, invented by him, to the princesses and Twilight.

They are in the throne room in the Canterlot Castle. I want it drawn from the princesses chair point of view, looking at Cyril standing center of the room. He would have a serious face, holding up the black and silver watch for easy visibility. The exact details of the watch are irrelevant as long as it is digital. If any more information is needed, I will be glad to try and do my best in providing it.

The link to his page is in my signature.

If the artist also wishes to create a cleaner and updated version of my other OC, Fierasil, that would be much appreciated, but i'm not putting that as a requirement. Same pose, just cleaner looking and better proportioned.

  6. We just got back on the ship, we'll think of something. Add me on skype and I'll invite you to the group chat.

Oh, and maybe you could be the second in command of Science Technology and Magic

Yeah. That sounds pretty good actually. I wouldn't mind that as a title at the least. Whatever you wanna do with it.

  7. Well, I guess it would go like this. Cyril was born, all the schooling (obviously with new names and locations), but instead of becoming head of magical and technological development, he could become a spacecraft systems specialist, having advanced knowledge in how a ship's components work together.

  8. Well yes, his backstory doesn't fit in to the timeline. He wouldn't be the head of magic and tech advancement anymore. Instead of all that stuff about school and the princesses, he would just have gone to school to be a techmaturgist, I guess. If that doesn't work... I don't know. I'd need some ideas.

  9. Are you guys still searching for people? If so, I'm willing to join in with Cyril Coltefeller, if that's acceptable. There's a link in my description to his page. It's probably best to summarize due to his extended background.

Cyril grew up to essentially be the head in magic and tech advances, so for the same of this roleplay, he could just be a magical space engineer? I'll find a way to develop on that idea some more.

    Scarlett Fidelity.

  10. Hmm. I really enjoy this idea. Would it be alright if I join with Cyril Coltefeller?https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/cyril-coltefeller-r1421

I'm on my phone right now so that's the best link I can get you. Excuse the large backstory. To summarize, he is the head of magical and technological development for Canterlot, located in Ponyville. However, he would not have access to any of his equipment other than his coat, original digital watch, and compass. And of course, his magic and knowledge of techmaturgy.

  11. @,@,

Akatsu looked at Corsica and then at the bathroom, pointing in its direction. 'Of course, knowing them by now, they probably don't know how to even use the bathroom...' she grudgingly thought. Akatsu finished setting up the laptop for use and turned back to Summer. "I will be honest. I think you both are absolutely crazy, but i'm willing to help in any way. If you could just talk in a way that makes sense that would be splendid." Akatsu sat down and pulled up google maps, then zoomed out the entire way. "Do you recognize any of this?" she asked, hoping she knew at least ONE continent. "I do not know what you mean by 'appearances', but i think i have an idea."

  12. @,@,

Akatsu walked over to where the two were and looked out the window. "Well... it is about a twenty minute drive... and if you want to see stars, another 20 minutes into the middle of nowhere. You know, i could just give you a map instead..." she offered. She thought it strange to use the stars to determine position, but she knew sailors had done it hundreds of years ago. Maybe it wasn't so inconvenient as she thought it was. "I could just pull a map up on the computer actually" she said and moved over to turn on the laptop.

  13. @,

Akatsu tried to study them, their movements, the way they talked, what they talked about... but it made absolutely no sense to her. 'They aren't drunk... they are talking too perfectly. They aren't on drugs... they don't look like they are at least...' she assessed. Akatsu picked up her own tea and downed it quickly. "Well... seems like you two live interesting enough lives. I just work as a waitress at a restaurant across the street..." she mumbled to herself. She was getting rather sleepy, and the tea didn't help. "I can't leave you two without places to sleep, and i can't set you out alone outside. There is only really my room and the loveseat here. I have an extra pad i could get out of the closet. One of you could sleep on that in my room, but the other will have to sleep out here. Who sleeps where is up to you, but i'm going to get the pad out."

Akatsu left to her room, her movements like a slowly gliding paper airplane. She sifted through the contents of her closet, and found a medium sized memory foam pad at the top shelf. She retrieved it and set it down with a sheet, blanket, and one of Akatsu's bed pillows.
