I would like to donate more than i already have. Specialy since work is holding out but my BBBFF is have some trouble right now that i need to help with. But on a better note im glad to see all the donations and ponys willing to help out. I hope the kids get an amazing christmas this year.

Its great i just bought one and the poster really cool i glad i got it . I believe every mlp card collector should have one and there cheap too.

I randomly thought one day that we should have a secret hand shake just for the forums. I know we normally brohoof eachother which is cool but i was thinking since not every brony is apart of the forums we can do something a little extra for when we meet other members. It doesnt need to be a hand shake exactly too. I dont know what tho but i wanted to see what you guys thought or had any ideas.

The $50 iTunes card was discovered within a drawer by Kolth, so it was purchased a while ago. :lol:None of the prizes have been purchased directly for the event - it's all stuff that people have had available. Mostly stuff out of my Steam inventory that has been gathering dust for the better part of a year. :-X

okay its good to know you guys arnt spending money on prizes and stuff. Do you happen to know when this event might end becuase i wanna see if ill have the money for another donation

I hope we can raise more money for the kids. I just wanna put a note in for the ponys picking the winning raffles tickets. If for some reason i win the $50 itunes card. Pls dont buy it for me. I rather you put the money toward charity i have no use for it rather it go to the kids.

lol it was at 475 when i gave. i was able to donate $150, i had the extra cash and i have more then i could ever want, i felt these kids deserve something really nice . i would of donated another 50 but i have to fix my car but like i said if work keeps up, i hope to donate another $100

I gave as much as i can possibly give right now and if work hold out ill be able to send more. i hope we can raise as much as possible for the children.

My top motivation technique is to curl up somewhere really quiet, put on some source material (here, watch some favourite Pony episodes) and break out your pencils, or tablet or whatever you use to draw. Also you could try listening to music that reminds you of your OC, if you have any.

Ive been working on my oc pic for a while. But its been to long even tho i was able to post one not to long ago, id planed on having more done by now. I wanted to know from some fellow artist what they might do tokeep motivated in there work. I just get distracted or unfocused i forget to work on it and dont get back in to it for a week or two. I could use some advice.

I try to accept it and learn from what i did wrong so that i wont do it again. Its helps me become stronger, smarter and wiser. Failure isnt always bad it can help you by narrowing down the possiblities to the right path which will be a win in the end.

Here are some points of improvement:

You might want to shorten the snout/ nose, and make the lines of the snout less angular. Make the lines curve a little bit so it seems like they naturally lead into one another. Also, the neck seems kind of odd, and I can tell that there is something strange about the eyes, but I don't know exactly what .

 

It's not too bad here, but you might want to think about finding better lighting when taking pictures of your drawing. I use the same method for getting my art onto my computer so I've had some experience with this.

 

He seems like a pretty cool OC. I can't wait to hear more about him.

 

yea i thought the snout was a little of ill have to try to adjust with my next drawing and the i eyes i believe are to rounded, needs to be a little more oval and darker around them. ty i hope to have more on him soon

i had some free time finally so i did a quick sketch of the oc ive been trying to make. i have another pic done and another started but i plan to post them when i finish them and his background story. srry for not being on a lot lately, been busy and havnt had time to do some drawings but i hope to release more soon. i hope everypony likes it, as usual let me know what i can do to make it better. ty p.s. im planing to get a new phone soon so ill have better pics, one without dots on the lens.

Well im really sad now. I found out i dont have the hub channel, which isnt that bad because i was just going to buy the extra channels. But it turns out we are locked in a 2 year contract where i cant change it. So no season 3 i dont know what to do. None of my friends are bronys or have hub so theres no one to watch it with. Any ideas please

i didnt start watching mlp till season 2 was over, im into it a lot now. but i every once and while i see something about the new lunar republic and the celestias empire(forgot actual name) i just wanted to know what it was about.

i stop play at cataclysm, wow really lost its appeal, so idk how the new one is but i can say that deathwing was like the last major end game thing they had left, and i believe there just pull random things out of a hat now to make more money and to keep players in. itll never be like the good ol days of vanilla wow.

That looks really good! Her head looks really small though... It might just be your style though... I really like how you added her cutie mark to the left of her. Great job!

Maybe add the star earring Twilight was wearing on the show. and in this position her back should arched down not up.

 

Also, if you're looking for something to draw, I'd love to see Rarity in gala dress...

 

thanx and i was watching the show with a friends and i saw rarity dress and i told him that one will take alot of time so ill put it off lol.

My third sketch, twilight sparkle in her gala dress. i know there should be more stars on the dress but i cant draw stars for some reason and the 2 dark blotches next to it is just dirt inside my lens. but i hope everypony likes it and if theres anything you think i can do to improve my skill let me know. Also if anyone wants to see me attempt something let me know what you want me to draw. Enjoy

That is really really good. The only real thing I see wrong is her body is too long and thin... Other then that it looks pretty amazing... Great job.

 

thanx i kinda notice the body when i was a little to far into it and didnt wanna start over.

I love the shading and detail of her! However, yes, the body needs to be a bit more thick. Not fat, but thick.

 

 

Other than that, it looks awesome! Wish I could draw like that. I also love how you did the wings. Looks very much like the show's and I would like to see you draw other ponies in their gala dress!

If there was anything I had to point out on for improvement, it would have to be to take her body and round it out a bit more to make it more full looking instead of like a flat loaf of bread. Maybe for her top hair lengthen that bottom bang out to fill her head out a bit more as well. I think the wings turned out pretty darn nice though, I like how they're illustrated.

I had some spare time and i kept think about rainbow dash gala dress so i decided to make it my 2nd sketch. i probably should of shades the hair in different shades for the color but i thought it came out good with out and i looks a little better in person(not best camera). I'm still learning so any feed back on how to improve my skill will be much appreciated. If anypony has any ideas for a drawing they want me to try let me know. Hope you all enjoy

I jest started collecting my little pony fun packs (I only have 2 packs) but i got Peewee, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and luna.
