I can see where there can be improvement.

 

But I love the way you shaded her and how it has that sort of look where it could be passed as a pony or a anthropomorphized one, even though it's not intentional it's cool. The eye looks great and it's a pretty fair sketch.

Just so you guys know try not to buy the cards at Hot Topic they charge way to much for them($3.50) at target you can get them cheaper($2.00)

i started sketching fluttershy and i screwed up on a few thing and it led to this. idk if its good or not let me know, its my first sketch. it looks so sad.

As you can see, I'm only missing 14 of the regular cards and I'd really like to complete the set so...

This doesn't have to be hard, just throw 'em in a padded envelope or in a regular envelope but put the cards between some cardboard.

You can get some individual cards off eBay. I won a foil Royal Wedding Princess Celestia the other day. :3

another reference fluttershy does is with angle at the beginning of season 1 ep 22 a bird in the hoof, the reference is to alice in wonderland

lol of course theres rule 34p, but still the writers do watch a lot of stuff im sure there are plenty of more hints to many more shows and things in all the episodes.

Sorry for asking, but what's the thing that makes the cake-shadow? I can't figure out what it is :/

lol its a pick of pinkie pie future, the filly pinkie looks sad at the the rock so i need something for the future pinkie to look happy at and since she likes parties why not a cake

Looks pretty good to me... kind of a shadows of the futre thing going on... kinda reminds me of this poster for Star Wars, only it's a good future.

I know this isn't my best work, the idea was in my head so i just started drawing it, i wish it would have came out better, but i still hope everypony likes it. and like with all my pics tell my what you think i could better to help me.

Hasbro needs to make a card game out of this. NOW. It would sell a LOT. After looking at the shiny Cadence card, I would have to say it would create a buzz for people to start collecting these and start battling random bronies wherever they happen to meet them.

I asked a while ago if the cards were worth buying, so i ended up buying 2 packs. Someone wanted me to post pics of what i got. i like them and think there pretty cool. im glad that i bought them but im a little sad i didnt get fluttershy.

 

CARDS: the flight of rarity,crazy cutie pox, Big Macintosh, Hoity Toity & Photo Finish, Gilda, Rarity, sweet apple acres, crusaders clubhouse, Applejack standee, and (royal wedding)Princess Cadance foiled.

...you realize that suspiciously looks like it's actually Daring Do racing Rainbow Dash, right?

 

As the picture goes -

 

Yeah, there are flaws here and there such as how the pony's are drawn a bit skewed on body parts and the clouds are very off (they should be bigger) amongst some other tings, but you have a VERY strong image representation here.

 

What I mean is, the work flows quite well on everything and its very original. I would recommend getting some reference pictures of the ponies, include some cloud references, and do a re-edit of the drawing. It has some very good potential for an outstanding wallpaper.

thanx for the advice i really appreciate it, i was only working with what i had(color pencils and paper) but i do plan on getting better materials and some more practice. when i get a little bite better ill try to redo it. As for digital, its cool but i prefer to do it by hand. but i do appreciate the advice it will really help me out.

That's cool. I hand draw stuff too but I can get quiet lazy and slack off sometimes. I just need some motivation.

 

yea same so usually if i start a drawing i dont stop till im done, luckily i had plenty of time today cuase that one to about 6 hrs to do

I find duplicating something mirrored is hard. You did great!

I suggest the sky be grey on the left too since that would help add more contrast.

Ive been bored lately, so i bought some color pencils and started randomly drawing. Since i really like young fluttershy i decide to draw her. Be honest and let me know what you think so that maybe i can get better. Also i have a few ideas for some next drawings, but i wouldn't mind if you pony's had any ideas for me. I hope you like.

I've never really been into trading cards but I like them. I think they'll be fun to trade at meetups and even if you can't go to meetups you can still trade online.
