This show definitely gives me faith in humanity. In a world where "16 and pregnant" is becoming more and more reality, it's great to know that there are still shows that show how people are supposed to act for a better world. There are episodes that show us not to judge others. There are episodes that tell us we make mistakes, but it's never the end. We can all learn from this show and I find that absolutely amazing! This is one of the main reasons why I love this show so much. The only show that matches this on my list of favorites is Doctor Who, and that says a lot. 

This may seem a bit odd of a combo (one is generally seen as girly, the other is Sci-fi), but there is something about Doctor Who that I love. He is the most awesome pacifist you will EVER meet. He never wants to kill anyone because he knows that every creature deserves a chance to make itself better. Whenever anypony is in a situation where it seems like nothing can make it better, the mane 6 comes to show them otherwise. This, along with the virtues that I have seen throughout the episodes, give me hope in humanity. I just wish more of humanity was willing to see this and apply the good from the show in their lives.

hm. never thought of that. i thought of her as just being a much younger princess celestia. very powerful magic, turns to the dark side because she doesn't feel like she's getting what she truly wants, wreaks havoc, is attacked by a rainbow, and is almost instantly forgived afterwards.

the CMC hanging out during the summer sun celebration BEFORE they officially met 6 or 7 episodes later is one that always comes to mind for me.

I don't remember exactly where i heard it, but that scene was an error, actually. they were just supposed to be a few generic fillies. although, i kinda like it being that way. it's like "wait, they were with each other and they didn't even know it! cool."

monarchy is not the only thing they have there. if you pay very close attention in the smile song, pinkie passes by Mayor Mare. secondly, in that same exact part of the song, when pinkie leaves the screen, check out the cutie marks. you have a judge, a law maker, and the mayor. judicial, legislative, and executive branches.

so, luna was banished 1000 years before S1. but celestia said that she and luna sealed away discord with the elements of harmony 1000 years before S2. did celestia just go "hey luna, can i borrow you for a fight! thanks!" and then banish her back to the moon when she was done?

anything by MelodicPony on youtube and these two videos are absolutely beautiful to me. very well crafted and are very touching to me.

the thing is, every person was allowed to vote up to 11 times. i think the reason Fluttershy won, or at least a very reasonable cause, is that she had a lot of fans voting for her. there were more people willing to vote for her than the others. it's not necessarily about how many votes someone gets, but how many voters choose a certain character.

I don't really see a purpose for her going back. This point has been abused many times, but i'll say it anyway: the movie isn't canon. it's not really part of the show, just a little step to the side for fun.

Considering I choose both Doctor Who and MLP:FIM as my favorite shows, that should say a lot right there about how much of a fan I am. One of the few things that I would prefer is if he had even just a little more screen time. Yeah, Octy got less than a minute of time and has a large following, but this is an occurrence of merged fandoms we are talking about here. I like him, especially since the main one is based off of my favorite regeneration (10), but I just wish there was more of him. Not really sure how he could be incorporated, though, but I'm sure Hasbro would be able to work something out if they did.

did you not pay attention to how she was acting at the end of S3? she didn't even know what to do as a princess, much less how to overthrow all the others. plus, with all Celestia has done for her, why would she try to one-up her teacher and mentor? i think she's just going to be the princess of ponyville. simple as that.

why wouldn't her transformation be permanent? i mean, it would be like charmeleon evolving into charizard and then ash decides "nah, i liked him better the old way." i mean, you can't really do that...at least, not easily. it's a part of who she is now. we just have to somehow either get over it or get used to it. personally, i am perfectly fine with her transformation, so for me it's a "getting used to it" thing.

when fluttershy was being teased was a major sad part to me. along with when she was being downright mean to all of ponyville, especially when she started going off on rarity and pinkie pie. and probably my least favorite moment of the entire show so far: that meanie gilda, thinking she can just do whatever she darn well pleases, decides to yell at fluttershy. how dare she! yes, i still hold a grudge all the way back from season one. i've heard she might be coming back later in the show. i can't wait to see what happens to gilda then. this is the easiest way i can explain my reaction to those moments, along with a few others:

i'd be pleasantly surprised to find fluttershy in my room (i'm using my home, rather than my dorm, for this). i would quietly tell her that my parents wouldn't really approve of this, but that i am perfectly fine. she probably wouldn't feel good about my parents not liking her, but i would gently tell her that as long as we're quiet, they won't notice. i'd then try to strike up a simple conversation, asking about how things are in ponyville and such.

ya know, i didn't even notice until just now. maybe because the microphones were close to the boom in the first time? maybe there was less space taken up due to being a filly, allowing more air to vibrate? i don't have a degree in this stuff or anything, but these are just my thoughts.

...   ooh boy. well, as i've skimmed some other stories here (some, maybe 4 or so), i realize that i'm not the only one who wasn't told this stuff by my parents. so, i don't really know how i would explain it. although, i have tons of time to think. so far, i'm not really good when it comes to relationships seeing as how i've never had one, so there's that. "solving" that will more than likely take awhile. also, this may sound a bit "young" of me, given my age, but this stuff is still...well...awkward for me. awkward, uncomfortable, uneasy, etc. i just don't really care for this stuff. if somehow i do end up having kids and have to tell them about this, i'd probably just try to not go much into the details. like i said, i never was told by my parents, so i can't really use whatever they would've told me.

chastity. chastity is DEFINITELY a virtue that i represent rather well. kindness is also a major part of who i am. i am happy about both of those. 

oh gee, where to begin... i can be stubborn, i procrastinate, i'm lazy, i have a bad work ethic, i don't always think before i speak, i don't always realize when i've gone too far until it's too late, i don't take rejection that well, i keep thinking about things i should be over with, and probably a good bit more other stuff that i would rather not have as part of my personality.

i have a friend who refuses even to watch the explanations of the fandom and why we aren't that weird. i mess with him a bit to make up for it.

i loved season 3, personally. not to spoil too much, but pinkie pie had definite character development and fluttershy proved everypony else of the mane 6 wrong. applejack and rainbow dash each learned valuable lessons as well, focusing on what is truly important. this and much more are what you can expect when watching season 3.

unpopular opinion due to the fact that i am probably one of the very very VERY few people who feel this way: pokémon games are difficult. for those of you who have played pokémon, yes you read correctly. i know it is appaling, but i find the games rather challenging sometimes. especially when going from one city to another.

twilight, i know i may be a hypocrite about this, but i still say you need to get outside more. you spend a lot of time studying. have more fun! get outside and find ponies to have fun with!
