I caught an adamant emolga with decent IVs in my first Black playthrough. EV'd it for speed and attack, taught it acrobatics and spark, it killed everything

The Subsidaries are good, but I see them more as Pepsi cashing in on the Mountain Dew logo. Not the same as real MD.

 

I dunno, Baja Blast is pretty good. I always get that when I'm at Taco Bell, since thats the only place you can get it, as far as I know.

Sigh slowly made his way through the town, searching in vain for any place that might sell Dream Leaf. He noticed lunar following him and turned around to greet him.

"Hey, Lunar, right? You don't talk much." He said casually. "Any particular reason you're following me?"

Current CoD is a steaming pile of crap that was formed into a disc and sold for $60 each. The old CoDs were decent. Halo is at least decent. It's not amazing, but it's good.

If you want a great shooter, go check out series like doom, quake, half life, etc. If you want multiplayer, TF2, battlefield (I've only played some of the older ones, not sure how the newest ones are), unreal. Quake has some great multiplayer as well.

Also, Humans are now half-canon, as Minotaurs are a mix between a man and a bull. They don't typically have hooves though, so I'd say this is more a mix between a satyr and bull, which still constitutes about 1/3 human

Nopony here is pissed because you like maplestory. Nopony hates you because you like a game they don't like. You're not being yelled at. You talked about a game, and some people came in and said "oh, I played that, I thought it sucked."

It's funny, replace the title with "bronies" and put it on an anti brony forum, and the comments would be absolutely the same.

It's fairly well known that a lot of gamers can't stand maplestory, I'm surprised you didn't expect this kind of reaction :/

Okay I'm tired of this I'm asking everypony right now! WHY THE HELL DO OTHERS LIKE IT WHEN FLUTTERSHY IS MEAN?! Not, "standing up for herself" not "bravely defending her friends" but genuinely nasty? What makes Fluttershy so wonderful is how compassionate she is. When Discord mindraped her, it broke my heart, because she was just so hatefully spiteful. I'm being honest here, what the Hell is the appeal?

 

Well, for me at least, it's because she's so innocent and nice normally. I love Fluttershy for that, but seeing such stark contrast is also entertaining. Also, I know that I and a lot of other people like seeing good characters turn bad in movies/books/whatever, so this is kinda like that, just toned down since it's a kid show.

But anyway...

This is my new favorite episode, hooves down. My username, my entire ponysona, is based off of evil Fluttershy, and now she got her own episode.

EvilshyNew Fluttershy is pleased that she is getting the respect she deserves.

Also, Mr. T and Rocky references in the same episode. Words cannot describe this awesome.

Cats are NOT mean. They are perceived as such because they are approached by people who speak dog and not cat. For example, dog wagging tail = I am happy! while cat wagging tail = I am annoyed and leave me alone! However, cats do get happy - they will walk around with their tail held high like a flag pole. Dog on its back = pet me! Cat on its back = I trust you enough to show you I do not need to be on all fours ready to run but if you pet my belly I will interpret that as an attack and violation of my trust and I will respond by showing you what the claws on all four of my paws can do. DO NOT STARE AT A CAT - if you make eye contact, slowly blink to show you are not challenging them.

 

I have two cats. They are pure love. They follow me room to room. They jump on my lap for petting. I put out my brohoof and they respond with a happy kitty headbutt. They never bite or scratch me intentionally (I occasionally get nicked when they are after a toy but that's it). I trust them fully and can put my forehead up against theirs.

 

Cats are awesome and so are dogs, but cats are much more misunderstood. I love cats. I am thinking of looking for a white Persian to call her Opal.

 

This. Although my cat loves to have his belly rubbed. Sometimes I'll go to pet him and he'll flop over on the ground and stare at me until I rub his belly, although sometimes he does half heartedly claw at my hand.

But yeah, if the cats tail is twitching, that is not a happy cat.

Also, some cats will touch your head to show affection. Not all, but I used to have cat who loved sleeping on a shelf near the stairs, and if you sat on one of the stairs, your head would be near him. He'd look up from his sleep and stick out his paw and touch you and purr.

Oh, and apparently only one race has mages that can increase their mana regen. The others, have fun spending all your time farming to buy mana potions. Or spending your real money on them.

You can try that all you want but gotta understand not everyone can understand the ramifications of the abilities certain characters have since they don't know them. I could list characters like Fisk from Better Days but in the end since he's not exactly a super-powered soldier or anything and not everyone has read the webcomic most people might choose the other person by default because they understand what he can do better or because they actually know him. A lot of votes will likely be just who they know or who's more popular.

Nominate characters, not potential battles.

The kratos vs master chief thread gave me an idea; a tournament of sorts. 

Nominate characters from whatever you want. Games, comics, movies, books, manga, whatever the hell you want. Then, I'll use an RNG to determine matches, and post the bracket. 

Each match up will have it's own thread (with poll) and people will debate and vote on who would win in a fight. 

The rules of the fight will be posted in each thread, and some will be tailored to the contestants (an example would be two melee fighters would start closer to each other than two ranged fighters.)

I will try not to place too many restrictions on characters to keep the battle as pure as possible, but some characters will need restrictions, and they will be listed in their threads.

An exception will be speed. Speed will be scaled between universes. What this means is that if a character isn't known for being super fast in their own universe, they won't be in the fight, and vice versa. This is to prevent characters from universes that are naturally faster than others from winning before other characters can do anything. However, characters who are known for being fast (Flash, sonic) will still be super fast and can win by blitzing. Basically, take the average speed of the universe and look at how much faster the character in question is. So if character A was 60% faster than the average of his verse and character B was 90%  faster than the average in his verse, B would be faster, even if A moves at 10000 MPH and B moves at 100 MPH.

Characters with planet busting level powers (such as Goku) are discouraged, and characters with reality warping (Discord), or god-mod powers (Galactus) are banned. 

Immortal characters are considered defeated if they can be stopped from moving or some other sort of thing (sealed, stuck in something they can't break out of, warped to a different dimension, stuff like that.) 

Characters will have access to everything they've shown, unless certain forms/powers are mutually exclusive. In this case, they'll be at their most powerful. (example: pre and post suit Darth Vader are mutually exclusive. Pre suit Vader is more powerful, though, so that's how he would be). Characters in universes that have an expanded version are their expanded universe selves (an obvious example is star wars. Expanded universe palpatine is way more powerful than movie palpatine). 

Remember, this is a battle between characters, not universes. Characters can't call for backup or receive any help from their universes. Also, characters don't get any vehicles they may have driven, unless their power is based on that vehicle (which I can't think of any off the top of my head.)

When you nominate, post a link to a page that has the characters powers on it (most wikis have these). Even if it's a well known character, some people might not know. 

Since you have an infinite time in which to gain X, as long as you spend a finite amount of time learning how to obtain X, you will gain an infinite amount of X. Learning how to obtain X for 1 day is no different than learning how to obtain X for 10^1000000000000000000 days, because if the time is infinite, the rate at which you obtain X is meaningless. You will obtain and infinite amount of X either way.

The only way to not obtain infinite X is to spend and infinite amount of days learning about obtaining X, in which case you will obtain no X.
