I'd make a terrible mod. Anybody who knows me knows I'm hungry for power and won't hesitate to abuse it, so there's no way I'd become one in the first place. Of course, I'd probably also just pretend to be legit for awhile so they'll give me mod powers, then go bat shit crazy with it and inflict irreparable damage on the users here. It would be especially effective because I'd constantly mention in passing about how I'd make a bad mod and how the staff would be insane to appoint me. But once they did, you can;t really expect me not to jump at that, I'd just hope that nobody would notice when I instantly accept the position after spending months saying how I probably wouldn't. But the plan seems to be working so far.

EDIT: this post is funny because I was a mod for over a year.

At midnight, I picked golgari, went jund and went 1-3-1 (would've won that draw if overtime was 6 turns instead of 5 ). In 2HG, some in our group of friends couldn't make it, so teams got a bit screwed, and I was with another player who isn't very good at limited. Went 0-3-1, but enough people dropped that we got 2 packs each anyway.

Here comes the good part.

At midnight, I pulled a Vraska, which I traded later for an Abrupt Decay, Sublime Archangel, Olivia Voldaren, Havengul Lich, and Deadeye Navigator. I gave my friend another Sublime Archangel and Thragtusk, and in return he paid for my 2HG fee. In 2HG, I pulled 2 Dreadbores and a Temple Garden. I traded Temple Garden for my Sublime Archangel back, as well as promo Lingering Souls. I traded one Dreadbore for dinner and still have the other. So I think I made money off this.

Oh, and I have an Izzet box coming in the mail from a friend who owns a card shop back home

What kind of shirts? Just any shirts, or custom ones?

I've used Custom Ink a few times, with good results. Shirts are quality, not too expensive, have free shipping (or they did when I bought stuff) and the staff is very helpful with any questions you may have.

To be honest, the line "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me" is very fitting for me.

This Minecraft thing has really taken off. I don't have a 360 (nor will I ever buy one) but I watched my friend play it for an hour and he showed off all the amazing stuff he'd built in his game. My favorite thing about it was the music. So calm and soothing. It seemed like the kind of game you could spend months or years on, like World of Warcraft.

 

Get it for PC. PC version is about 10x better.

Anyway, I got my 10 year old sister into Minecraft, as well, and she's pretty good. She mainly just plays creative, but does go on survival servers with her friends.

My highschool was kinda like that. Nerds weren't picked, but it wasn't really "cool" to be one. It was a bit annoying when some jock would see you with a DS and have one of two conversation every time.

I really like this. I'll definitely check out some Advanced RPs, my main reason for not joining RPs here was the rapidfire posting of meh stuff that we see in so many RPs :/

Anyway, I seem to remember remarking in a status conversation that the day I was asked to be a mod would be the day when we would need to seriously question the sanity of the staff. That day seems to have come. I mean, we know Zoop is insane, but the rest? I'm not sure, perhaps they're just good at deception. Perhaps they just need some extra hands to help us through the mod-loss crisis, and my lack of morals and thirst for power aren't as important factors as my incredible intellect, sharp wit, and complete lack of modesty. Perhaps preventing RPW from collapsing is worth the risk of handing me the tools of Feld0's downfall. Perhaps it's worth the risk of letting me spread my tendrils of corruption across an entire section. I don't see how I'm moderator material, but I guess it doesn't matter right now.

I'm not the moderator MPL Forums deserves, but apparently I'm the one it needs right now.

Also, now that LRP brings it up, I haven't RP'd here in months. In fact, I've hardly posted outside of Everfree

I'm not sure I can decide. If somebody held a gun to my head and said to pick a favorite, I'd probably still only get it down to XFizzle, Finest, and LRP before pulling out crazy ninja moves and beating the hell out of him.

My parents are very against it, some of my friends swear, some don't but are neutral, and some are also highly against it. I've had so much practice switching back and forth I automatically do it now, depending on who I'm around.

I'm sure by now we've all seen Zoop's fancy signature that shows a random message each time. One of the messages asks how many we think there are, so I intend to find out, and I'd like your help.

Back on April Fools, we had people changing their names and avatars to impersonate each other, so I think it would be possible. But I doubt anyone would try to steal your name

I don't think Feld0 wants to be backed by Hasbro, nor do many users, me included. If the site were back by Hasbro, we'd have to follow whatever rules they set up, which would likely be highly restricted and aimed at younger audiences: no swearing, nothing even remotely suggestive, nothing violent, the list goes on. While it would be cool to be sponsored by Hasbro, I'd rather Feld0 retain complete control over the site, and I think he does, as well.

Powerful =/= harsh. Yeah, she's a powerhouse, she canceled out one of Twi's spells like it was nothing and keeps celestial bodies in motion. She only lost to Chrysalis because Chrysalis was powered up by love, which is limitless. It's like saying Thor is weak because he can't beat Hulk.
