1.

Is librisexual a word (and if so not a horryfing fetish) ? I don't think she's quite Sheldon's level. At the start of the series certainly an introvert but not a social pariah.

    You mispelled "flank" ;) .

Seriously though, I love Dashie, but she was pretty superficial, before the show. I'd think she'd be attracted to athletic prowess or good looks rather than personality (even if she took the time to find out about it).

I think, Dash would be having all the fun that could be had, including "this". You make an excellent point of her being in a relationship however, didn't even think of that aspect of her playing into it. However, it would probably take one heck of a pony to make Dash commit.

I don't know, we were all young and stupid once.

    You're too kind

You bet I was (still am as a matter of fact) ^_^ .

Yeah, the fact that it would take one heck of a pony to make Rainbow commit is another reason why I don't really see her having had much romantic experience, provided she had any interest in romance, which again I really can't see.

  2. I think that they're all fairly inexperienced relationshipwise except for possibly Rarity.

    My reasoning

Fluttershy- Can you picture Fluttershy in a relationship? I certainly can't.

Applejack- She might have gone out with someone before, I don't know

Pinkie Pie- She is essentially a big kid, I just can't see her having romantic interest in someone already, possibly in the future, but nothing in the past.

Twilight- She was too wrapped up in her studies to make friends, much less date someone.

Rainbow Dash- She's kind of too wrapped up in having fun and chasing her dreams to have been interested in anything like this, again I don't see it. Also, if she was in a relationship if anything I can see her taking it very seriously and wanting commitment, being the element of loyalty and all.

Rarity- She's definitely dated before, but it's likely that anyone she was interested in before either couldn't live up to her expectations or got fed up with the drama.

  3. My dream for the Changelings' return has always been an epic Nightmare Night episode. They take advantage of the confusion to invade and start replacing people, and since everyone is dressed up and trying to scare people normally, it takes the town a while to realize that there are actual monsters on the loose. At the end the Mane 6 team up with Luna to smack the changelings down in the most amazing fight scene ever.

It was probably just an expression. I mean I say stuff like "thank god for that" all the time even though Im not part of a religion.

Ha ha, yeah, I'm aware that it was probably just an expression, I just thought it might be halfway relevant to the thread so I posted it :)

  5. Twilight Sparkle was my favorite since I started watching. With further character development throughout the first season as well as part of 2nd season, I started to like Rarity more than any of the ponies.

Now I'm leaning towards liking Pinkie Pie after her latest episode, but it ain't happening. xD

Let the Pinkie flow through you. Come to the dark side, we have chimicherrychangas and kumquats.

Ha ha, I never thought I'd type something like that.

  6. Season 3 has been ok so far. I didn't like the two parter as much as the ones in season 2 (To be fair, both of those were mind-blowingly awesome). Too Many Pinkie Pies was amazing, I was expecting loads of chaos and randomosity but it got surprisingly deep at times, and it provided a good contrast between Pinkie and how many people perceive Pinkie, and showed the strength of her character. I thought the last episode was decent enough, not my favorite but solid for a crusaders episode.

I'm not really sure how to feel about the future return of Trixie but I'll wait for the episode before passing judgment on it. I'm not thrilled about more of her but I'll see if she can make a better impression on me than she did in her previous episode.

The two episodes after the Trixie episode are the ones I'm really excited for though, as well as the season finale which I'm tentatively guessing will be the return of Discord.

As for deterioration of the fandom or fan works you're probably talking to the wrong guy. I haven't been here long. Still seems pretty good to me.

  7. About 5 months ago, I became a brony, and as usual, parents start to hate. Usually, they become the first haters, but something strange started happening. One day, I left my computer on to Equestria.tv, and my Dad came over and started watching an episode. It was the Cutie Marks Chronicles episode, and he actually started to ask me questions regarding the overall story. Then, in the middle of the night, I woke up in a somewhat shock, realizing that my dad may be becoming a brony. Of course, I didn't want to jump to conclusions, as my Dad is usually sarcastic. It's been about two weeks, and he's starting to be more...interested in this fandom. Is my dad becoming a brony? If he is? Should I welcome him to the Forums? Should our conversations be pony-based?

If he is then congratulations! That would be really cool. I don't know about asking him to join the forum or anything like that though.

  8. Fluttershy- I can see her watching a lot of classic Disney movies, or maybe just a lot of nature documentaries if nonfiction is allowed.

Rarity- She would watch every romantic comedy ever made, no matter how bad they were.

Twilight- I think she would watch a lot of critically acclaimed movies, but I can see her being pretty diverse. She's probably watch a lot of documentaries too.

Applejack- Westerns, because I'm not original. She might also watch a decent amount of action movies.

Pinkie Pie- I bet she would be into Disney stuff and cartoons. Probably comedy stuff too

Rainbow Dash- She would watch loads of action movies, regardless of how good they were.

My post wasn't about Rainbow Dash actually. I don't really agree with you, but I like Applejack quite a lot and I've been pretty vocal about calling for some more screen time in the show for her. She's one of my favorite characters and always has been.

I don't really understand why you're replying to a post from three weeks ago to tell me this but I'll roll with it.

Thank you for sharing your opinion.

  10. You're right there but she still is pain in the a##! Why can't act mature towards her friends. I mean if kids became like her, they would get bullied like hell in school! And definitely does not resemble the element of loyalty http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

She tried to comfort Fluttershy, saved her from bullies, saved Rarity's life, showed great determination to bring Applejack back from the cherry orchard and made sure Pinkie Pie could be snapped out of her depression. Seems pretty loyal to me.

  11. Well sure he's still a brony. Far be it from us to set arbitrary limits or definitions as to who is or isn't a brony. I only rewatch episodes from time to time myself although I eagerly devour new ones. I'm not obsessed with Derpy or any background character really, I haven't produced any fan art, music or fiction. I haven't gone to conventions or anything. I lack many common characteristics of a brony. I just think it's dangerous territory to try to judge who is a bigger fan of the show, or to decide what constitutes a brony. Sounds like asking for trouble to me.

  12.

I still firmly believe that the characters's behaviour "inconsistencies" are something that is highly subjective, depending from each point of view of the person. If you were to ask me, the way they acted wasn't out of character at all.

Oh I would agree that it is largely subjective, and at times the line between out of character moments and character development is minimal to nonexistent. I don't necessarily agree with you about them all being entirely in character, but that's largely due to my nitpicking and overthinking the episode. No big deal.
