@@RunsWithSquirlz Dresden was looking in the fire for most of the time when he decided to stand up to stretch the legs, Tulla was asleep and so was Helena, and Robert seemed to deep in thought to disturbed so Dresden decided to practice his magic after a run-in with the Iron Maiden one needs to be prepared. He cracked the muscles in his next and walked towards the water, he laughed when he saw Finn getting back on the shore. "Hey there little guy enjoying your swim? The water's calmer then it was up there I-whaaaa?" Dresden stopped mid-sentence when his eyes gave him a strange sight; Whisper swimming to the surface with a sword in her hand, "Wha-who-how-was that sword there the whole time?" Dresden cocked his head slightly in a confusing matter.

"I'm sure hes fine," Dresden said as he sat next to the fire, "Someone as stubborn as Adrass is sure to still be alive; we'll see if we can locate him and hopefully in the morning we can see if the Iron Maiden is gone so we can salvage our camp." Dresden said carefully as to not make his shoulders worse he reach done to the bottom of his boots to unstrap two daggers. "Always have a back up."

Dresden gave a chuckle when Finn awoke, "Ah nice to see you made out okay little guy." When Indicus made a fire that just made Dresden brighten more, "fire! Thank you Indicus I appreciate." Dresden Whisper and Tulla, "So who wants to sit next to the nice and warm fire?"

"Dresden," Dresden said getting up, "Oh, those little pieces of shrapnel are going to be a pain!" Dresden yelled, "We...we need to make camp...I...we can't go on like this..." Dresden nodded his head, "your right, Indicus right? Can you gather some wood for a fire I don't think anyone has the strength to do it." Dresden said.

Dresden sat up and looked around, Indicus was looking over Helena who had a nasty wound on her arm. Dresden looked down at the two pieces of shrapnel in his shoulders; with great effort Dresden grasp his hand over one piece and pulled with all his might until it came out. Dresden reached over to grab the other and pulled on it as well. "Argh, they wern't kidding when they said the Iron Maiden could control metal."

Dresden coughed heavily as he laid on his back not even having the strength to lift his arms but he did manage a weak smile, "Thanks man for saving our suicidal asses." Dresden said between coughs, "Is...is everyone ok? Whisper? Tulla? Helena?" Dresden asked turning his head.

Dresden could hear the sound of a waterfall; he had to find Whisper and Finn and fast! Dresden closed his eyes and tried to focus the best he could, if he can summon water...maybe he can control surrounding water he never tried it before and now seems like a good time to try! He tapped into his magic and tried to have the current push him faster then the other currents, Common, common this has to work this has to-oh I think it is! Dresden could feel himself going faster, Dresden used the current to push himself above water where he looked around to see if he can locate the two.

Dresden hit the water head first and the impact nearly knocked him out cold though he may pass out due to blood lost; Dresden could barley see where he was going as the vicious current carried him down. "Whisper!" Dresden yelled before his head sunk underwater again.

Dresden was nearly blinded by the fireball that hurtled past him, but when he turned around he saw both it and Whisper go over the cliff. "Princess!" Dresden didn't know what possessed him but he found him self jumping off after them despite having no plan on what to do it he caught up to them.

"GAH!" Dresden fell to one knee as both pieces of shrapnel stabbed Dresden in both his shoulders; Dresden tried to raise his arms but couldn't due to his shoulders. No wonder shes called The Iron Maiden, shes like a damn boulder none of our weapons work! Dresden looked back at Whisper then to the Iron Maiden charging at them. Dresden raised his arms as best as he could every time he made a movement the shrapnel diged into his skin more, with great effort Dresden unsheathed his daggers and tossed as into the woods away from the fight then turned to Whisper, "I think now's the time to run."

Dresden got in front of Whisper with a dagger drawn, he was looking at each wolf to make sure it wasn't going to attack Whisper. "Wolfs, why did it have to be wolfs?" Dresden said, he would have helped in the fight but someone has to guard Whisper, Dresden looked around to see if there was a way out.

"Damn, these guys don't give up!" Dresden yelled, as Robert jumped backed on Tugg. "Why do they want us dead so bad?" Dresden nearly fell to the ground as the ground shook violently and he heard a very angry roar. "What was that?! That came from camp!" Dresden could see much bigger smoke over the tree lines something else was there.

Dresden tried to protest bit his eyes widen in surprise at the feeling that washed over his body he quickly examined himself to see...no wounds, "Wha-how....Whoa, amazing I knew you had magic powers but...I never felt anything like that!" Dresden laughed as he flexed his limbs to make sure there in working order. "I believed that you were cursed - we should be certain that you are recovered before you exert yourself." Dresden turned towards Adrass, "You sir need to calm down, she is not cursed, and we are not traitors. If you want to see a traitor how about you go back to our destroyed camp." Dresden said the the stubborn witch-hunter with a stick up his ass. (I'm sorry I couldn't resist )

Dresden looked at the strange newcomer that appeared out of nowhere until he was shoved buy another complete stranger one who thought Dresden was dying, With shaky knees Dresden got up. "Don't worry about me i'm fine I've suffered worse wounds then burns and cuts, so who are you two I get that your a medic but what about Mr. Cloak and Daggers over there?"

Dresden gave a small chuckled as he limped over to Helena, "Hey you did good, nice job getting the princess." Dresden said sitting down and stretching his limbs, "Ugh that soldier was more difficult then I imagined and I have the burns to prove it." Dresden put a hand to one of his burns and jerked his hand away, "I'm gonna feel that in the morning."

Dresden gave a nod of respect towards Eirikr and turned on his heels and ran to keep up with Robert and Tulla, even though his legs wanted to give out he would not let them, "Hey witch-hunter you can fight witches later! We have to get out of hear." Dresden shouted over his shoulder.

Dresden screamed in agony as the fire licked at his skin, these soldiers were tougher then he released at now it may cost him his life, 'I got to do something I won't- I refuse to die now!' "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" With a bust of magic water shot out around Dresden putting out most of the fire; Dresden fell to his hands and knees burns completely covered his body but he still stood though on shaky legs. "I will not go down this day!" He tapped into his magic and water shot out of his hands launching him into the air, "hiya!" Dresden brought both his daggers into the fire starters neck. Dresden looked at the soldier's comrade who sung his blade at him but Dresden was quicker he put the soldier in-between him and the blade then summon forth his magic he pushed his meat shield into the other and jumped backwards until he was next to Whisper and the others.

Dresden readied himself as the soldier charged him, Dresden blocked the blade as it came upon his head; Dresden gave the soldier no time to react as he kicked the solder's leg out from under him the finessed him off with a quick stab. "Might want to hurry then! I don't think we can hold them off for long!" Dresden could feel the bard's song and that gave him and extra boost, maybe they can hold out.

Dresden was quickly scanning the area getting his bearings as these mercenaries attacked the camp he saw a Tulla and Tuggs charge the group. He eyed a mercenary trying to get to Whisper, "hey slug-breath!" The mercenary made the mistake of looking towards the voice as he got Dresden's foot in his face, "You guys want a fight?! I'll give you a fight!" Dresden yelled drawing his daggers. "Bring it on!"

Dresden didn't know what happened he was watching Finn eat when he sensed...he didn't know what he felt he jut got this feeling that something was wrong. His attention was grabbed by the sound of choking and turned around to see Whisper fall to the ground, "Princess! everyone quick something a wrong!"

Dresden laughed at the sight, "be happy it's not deciding we're more tasty then the stew I would hate to spend the rest of this journey in a belly." Dresden got up and handed his half eating stew to the dragon, "here you. An also have mine a big boy like you needs to eat more."

Dresden sheathed his daggers and joined the others around the fire, "That smells delicious thank you." Dresden eat his serving in silence for a bit before looking across the fire, "So if you don't mine me asking your highness how are you enjoying our little trip?" Dresden asked waving his spoon in a questioning matter."

Dresden was hopping from one foot to the next as he eyed each training dummy he had set up and even put armor on each one, he twilled his daggers so his hands as he gave his focus to his 'enemies' with a hearty laugh he jumped towards the nearest one slashing his arms down wards damaging the chest, with a quick roll towards the next he brought his fist up to punch the dummy in the jaw then with his other hand did quick jabs to the side of the ribs before slashing his daggers across the dummies neck.
