Paid my brother five bucks to grind for me in Dragon Quest IX. I don't care enough to do it myself and it's the only way I'll end up beating the game. I just don't care about the game enough but I'm at the very end. It'd suck to have to leave it.

I'd agree generally but I hate final bosses that are a huge difficulty spike. I understand that's kind of the point but when I'm at that point I'd rather just finish the game. That's mainly for RPGs though. Don't care about it in other genres where they can make the fight interesting rather than it just being higher numbers.

Wow. I just realized it's been a long time since I've made a pony-related post anywhere. I need to catch up with the series. Season five came out on DVD recently so that helps.

Even on a pony forum I cringe a bit when people use ponies as any sort of argument or example in a serious debate that's not related to MLP in any way.

Random Dragon Quest mood. I don't generally like the series but I'll go with it. I feel compelled to finish at least one game in the series.

New game announcement: Lost Soul Aside. The guy behind it was heavily inspired by Final Fantasy XV but the combat in LSA looks WAY better.

Haha. Star Ocean 2's unlimited final boss is crazy hard even after I've dominated the supposedly terrible optional dungeon and bosses.

Star Ocean fever still holds me within its thralls. Star Ocean 5 on PS4, Star Ocean 2 on my PSP. I may or may not replay Star Ocean 1 or 3 next.

I feel like Pokemon Go is too dangerous for its own good and needs to be pulled off the market for the safety of everyone.

Spent the first half my shift giving people the death glare. I felt like shit. It cleared up later so now I'm doin' pretty great.

Star Ocean 5 immediately shows itself to not be another SO4 mess. As someone who enjoyed SO4 there was a lot about the game that didn't mesh well with...well....everything else in the game making for a fairly tedious experience.

People are apparently finding lots of little details all over the God of War demo shown at E3. Like at the end when they start panning out there is a gigantic snake moving through the trees. People thought it was a river thanks to its sheer size. It's amazing once you notice it.

Apparently I'm a white supremacist piece of shit because I refuse to take a $100 bill for a $10 purchase when I have less than $40 in my cash register. This is a conversation I had last night with some foreigners who kept waving the bills in my face and asking me "this is America isn't it!?" as if they'd never been here before.

As for using other registers, that would mess up the register for the next person who uses it since they are counted to a certain amount when it's closed down. Literally the policies in place don't allow for me to take $100 bills at all. It's a robbery deterrence thing. If customers know we don't have a lot of money at any given time then people will be less likely to want to rob us.

This E3 was pretty weird. Lots of great stuff was shown but as far as I could tell no mindblowers. Not even one. Everything was things we expected to see and some things that look kinda neat.

I love AMVs but sometimes they make an anime look WAY better than it actually turns out to be. It's unfortunate.

Final Fantasy XII's Zodiac version is finally coming to the US. I can't wait. The original version is still one of my top three Final Fantasy games so this can only be an improvement.

Hot damn. Clanker's Cavern in Banjo Kazooie is a very clever and well-made level. I'd only played Banjo Tooie before so this is all new to me and it's just so different from the sequel.
