    There are still people who do not support gay rights.
    And there are still countries who have banned gay marriage.
    There are still shootings, massacres, funerals and more that have happened today.
    But if there is anything worth celebrating, it would be the SCOTUS decision on marriage.
     

     
    Personally, I'm a straight, white, male from Georgia. But I'll celebrate today. And I'll celebrate tomorrow. Then maybe it's time to get back to the grindstone on all these other issues. But either way, it's time to celebrate. Oh, and smile

    Ok, so I know that when I post any of my half-baked ideas, people without any imagination tend to boo me offstage and beat me with telephone poles. But you guys gotta listen on this one, I think I've got something going here! So why does the rainbow colored pegasus represent upholding promises and being loyal?
     
     
     
     
    No seriously, I'm an atheist for the record, but there are some stories in the christian holy book that are worth reading and have had tons of influence in pop culture.
     
    We'll take this step by step. With pictures.
     
    1. Rainbow dash is rainbow.

    Yes, I know, it's a very hard concept to grasp. Took me years to get this one.
     
    2. Noah's Ark
    (Minecraft because why not)
    In the story, this dude builds a boat and there's a lot of water and etc.
     
    3. Noah's Ark has a rainbow at the end.

    Right? Ya follow me? Remember that?
     
    4. The Rainbow represents the promise to never flood the earth again.

    So far, the big guy has certainly kept that promise. I believe it says that is what it represents in the book itself and in a multitude of other sources.
     
    5. Promises are upheld by loyalty.
    and the WLMG thought they were so clever...
    I mean come on guys, it don't take a genius to figure this one out. The two are AT LEAST related.
     
    6. Rainbow Dash was chosen for the element of Loyalty because of her rainbow colors.
     
    Let's recap.
     
    Rainbows in the bible go to promises go to loyalty goes to Rainbow Dash goes to Rainbows and repeat.

    Now you're probably like "oh blah blah blah it's a kids show they wouldn't have thought about it that deeply blah blah blah its not religious blah blah blah"
     
    Well I'll have you know that Lauren Faust is reputable for being an excellent writer and makes similar allusions in much of her content. I would expect nothing less intricate from her mind. Also, this doesn't make it religious. The bible is a part of history and pop culture as I said before. Its use and reuse through stories does not mean technical relation to the faith (they did greek myth in the show "Arthur" from PBS, does that mean it's a greek show???).

    Pros:
    1. The cake in the fridge becomes 20x more appetizing.
    2. So does the lasagna.
    3. Nobody will be up to see you eat reasons 1 and 2.
    4. The terrible soap operas are on T.V.

    2. Nobody likes it when you practice drums at this hour for some reason. Weird.
     
     
    Summary:
    3AM is a moderately good time to be awake!

    Soooooooooooo how's it been? I'm sure my regular dudes have long gone extinct since the time I last came on MLP forums, but I'm back again with a collection of really old jokes. Maybe you new guys can get a kick out of these. There are a ton of world cup jokes, but not too many Independence day ones. I only like political humor when it comes with moderately anarchistic implications.

    I'm making a PMV in MS Excel, and I know it sounds crazy, but I need to find a good song to do.
     
    Preferably one that hasn't already been done, and one of the rock genre.
     
    I'M TELLING YOU THIS WILL BE THE WORK OF GODS!

    Oh, what's that? You want jokes from 2012 that have been stockpiled on my hard drive for millennia? Well aren't you in luck!
     
    Also, May The 4th be with ya, as always. This is the one day of the year I get to count how many other star wars fans there are in my immediate vicinity.
     
    So far I'm up to two of my cats. And only if I bribe them.

    T'was the night before hearth's warming,
    and all through the net,
    not many users were laughing,
    or at least not yet.
     
    Rainbow Skywalker gazed upon the forums and said,
    "There's no funny pictures! Well this isn't right..."
    So he searched for such pictures,
    this Hearth's Warming Eve night.
     
    Sorting through reposts,
    (and jokes that were mean,)
    he threw those away,
    and picked the ones that were clean.
     
    With 91 pictures
    and three hours to spare
    he managed to finally get this post
    out of his hair.
     
    The majority of his time,
    was not spent on finding those pics,
    but instead it was used,
    on trying to come up with some sort of rhyming, witty, holiday poem with a pleasant ending.
     
    Dammit.

    Ok, so no big pic post today, but something that I found funny did happen to me just now.
     
    It's like, 2AM and I decide that I'm about to starve to death so I go into the kitchen and start making food. One thing leads to another and I eventually have an entire banquet of pancakes, nachos, salsa, cereal, potato chips, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Judge me as you will.
     
    So anyway I'm sitting there at the table just munching away when my dad walks in to get a drink of water while holding an empty glass. We just kinda stare at each other for a minute (while I had half of a pancake flopping out of my mouth) and he just walks back to bed completely ignoring his desire to get something to drink as though he just quit the whole parenting thing entirely.
     
    I almost choked on my BBQ chips I was laughing so hard.
     
    TL;DR: Guess you had to be there.
     
     
    So anyway, to make things relevant, here is a picture of something funny I did today:

    So I got a frosty at a fast food restaurant downtown. I started slurping it and...
    ...
    It was crunchy.
     
    A frosty. Was crunchy.

    So in class today, our professor was reviewing some key signature recognition skills. He quickly revealed a flashcard to the class with a key signature drawn on it.
     
    "Mr. Noah, what is this key?" he asked the boy in the back of the class.
     
    The kid focused intently on the question, reviewing possible answers in his head until he finally decided on what he felt like was an appropriate response:
     
    "Seven."
     
    Seven. The key of seven. The class burst into laughter as my hand slammed into my face in pity for the poor guy. If you ask me, that's the most depressing thing I've heard all day. The person was obviously caught off-gaurd, so even if we were in the advanced class, I think it wouldn't be that much of a mistake.
     
    "Noah," the teacher responded after he was through with his own bout of laughter. "Crack kills."

    I hate school and anything related to it. Thats mostly because of all the AP classes I have to take and all the work I have to do before school even starts. But oh well. Have some pictures that I've been saving up for like, years or something.

    Hey! Looks like there are moving pictures in this one! I know that many people are just about tired of the little funny gifs floating around the net nowadays, but just give this post a chance.
     
    Speaking of which, I made a new animated avatar which imitates the "Pinkie Pie Sparkly Eyes" situation. Only took me 4 bloody hours.
     
    In other news, I need a font for british accents and a font for sarcasm. Seriously.

    I mean, I'm just sayin' that if we spent our whole year slaving away to learn the material, why do we need another test just to prove that we were there learning as much as we could? Just don't seem too right to me.
     
    Moving aside from that matter though, we have some pictures that are slightly related to the topic matter, and many others that have nothing to do with it at all. Oh well!

    It's true. I love irony. And ponies! I love ponies. But that's all beside the point. In this collection I cropped the little watermark thingy out of a bunch of them. Took me twice as long, but whatever. Have some pictures starting out with one of my favorite pins.

     
    Also, I just realized that I have never deleted any of the pictures that I have put up on here from my computer. That means that there is more than 49 GB of just pictures on my laptop. Should probably fix that...
