Marathon

Although my OC is dead you should be careful about what you do as the DM. killing someone off the bat is not the correct way to DM. i play alot of D&D, and ive been a DM alot of the time. You're obviously inexperienced in this position, so im warning you to be careful what you do.

(ooc) yeah i read all the rules and stuff i know still gana do a last moment thing.(IC)as he was lifted off the ground with a glow around him the voice spoke. "Awww Buck! A god?" He yelled, all his life moments flashed be fore his eyes. Right then and there a he remembered how he got here. The thought made him...happy. As he was lifted higher he just smiled down to the group not fighting the force. And then...nothing. Darkeness.

"No i dont, i dont even understand why im here in the first place." He said, he turned to Usaf,"you should probably comfurt her, i can tell shes not going to handle this very easily." He said with a slightly commanding voice, only because he knew the situation wasnt very good and they need a good leader. And right now he needed to step up if he was going to find ou what happened to him.

"Usaf? Honestly you're not that big of threat to me, though i can tell you're probably trained by military...possibly. As for me i have no idea how i got here, i just woke up. I dont really remember anything." He then heard the voice of something saying they would die in this place. "Yeah? Well you could atleast put me six feet under when you're done bluffing. Some ponys these days. And you would think after you guys had enough stress you'd get to rest." He said as alot of the ponies watched him.

"Me? I...im Marathon. But i think the better question is why are you guys here?" He said this taking careful notes on body language and tone to build a profile on each pony. He could already tell that the group was stressed and might act abnormaly, so he was carefull not to act agressive.

As he woke, marathon took in his surroundings. The room was dark but dimly lit by a torch. His vision was blurry and his hearing sensitive. He heard somepony or something call out hello. "Hello." He said quietly to himself. "Hello, a informal greeting. Usualy used with a friend or...when..." Marathon quickly got up and made his way to the door and checked to see if it was unlocked. He slowly opened the door to find a group of ponys entering this, place. Where ever this was. How did he get here anyways. For a while he studied the group. The leader he thought was most intresting, they were all wet. "Hey! Over here!" He called out to the group.

That sound fare enough, would be kinda intresting to see how that would play out. Well either way im gana keep track 'cause i wana watch this go down. By the way, where is the roleplay at? is it in the advanced roleplay section of the forum? I couldnt find a link here.

Bluebell casualy walked through the forest to the hotel. Staying on the road she quickly found a sign leading to it. At that moment she heard a muffled boom, probably from an explosion. "Looks like hes playing with his fireworks again. I cant wait to surprise him when i get there." she thought to her self as she quickend her pace. Every now and then a twig would get stuck in her mane and poked her. Although she wanted to surprise Marathon, she wasnt really excited about meeting anypony new. After being away so long she became that one pony who is socialy awkward sometimes. Eventualy she made her way to the hotel. She gasped at how large it was. When she entered she didnt see anypony, wich she liked. She strolled up to the receptionist desk and rang the little bell sitting on the counter. "Uhh, hello? Is anypony there? Id like to get my room please." she said a little louder than she wanted. A small panic raised in her chest but she hid it not wanting to think of her as weak.

I never got a reply on bringing in my other OC. Do you mind, cause if not then i would like to. the link to the OC should be in the other post i made last time.

After waiting for a while for the door to open Marathon decided to just go and do the fireworks. He headed back into his room and grabed his saddlebag. "Everypony is in for a surprise when I set off my secret work of art. The Big Daddy. Still the six inch tube of the little popers but has 300% more explosives in it. This is going to be awsome!" he thought to himself as he ran down the stairs to the front door. As he exited he started flaping his wings to get an extra speed bost while running. Sometimes he liked feeling the wind blow on his face from a good run. He kept running till the hotel was no longer in sight and decided it was good enough. He didnt wait to see if hellcat was behind him or not. Instead he swiftly set his stuff on the forest floor and took out the launch pad and rocket. He set it all up in a few minutes. "Get ready for a very...big bang." he thought out loud. With enough power to possibly create a crater at any moment if he wasnt carefull enough, this rocket will be louder than any pony ever expected. He quickly put on the ear muffs. He was sure Hellcat will cover hers if she wasnt here yet when she saw this go into the air. He lit a match and sparked the fuse. " Ten seconds till launch. Five seconds...three...two...one." at that moment the rocket launched upwards with the rocket fule burning a bright blue. He watched it streak into the air and into the cloud where it could no longer be seen. A full thirty seconds passed. Just then he saw a bright flash in the air and he began to count the seconds before the sound wave hit him. After five seconds all the clouds in the air dispersed as the wave made its way closer. Finaly the lound sonic boom came with the shock wave. Even with the muffs on after the sound passed his ears began to ring, and loud. He jumped up with excitement. "Now thats what i call an explosion!" he yelled but it was extremely quiet to him. He gathered his stuff and headed back slowly to the hotel. All the time he didnt even bother to look for Hellcat, he just assumed she was right behind him. He finaly made it back to the hotel and entered but didnt see anypony. He chuckled to himself knowing they would know it was him who cause the explosion. "All in a days work." he said to himself as he headed to the stairs.

Marathon laughed at that, "Well if you want we can try out some new chemical mixtures for a bigger bang. Though i already have a little poper made. We go and try it out right now if you want." He said headin back to his room to grab the gear neccessary for making the rockets.

As Marathon was waiting for the mare to open her door he kept explaining the forework to Hellcat. "Now when we set off the firework we need to be a ways from the hotel. I dont think Iron would be to happy if we blew out any windows in the place." He said softly laughing to himself. "When it goes off you should be able to see the shockwave in the air, its realy quite the thing to play with. But we do have to make sure no pegasi are in the air before we shoot it off." Now that he thinks about it, when it does go off everypony in the building and a half mile radius will hear the explosion even if it is hundreds of feet in the air. Everypony here is going to get a huge surprise.

When Hellcat asked what kind of fireworks they were going to make, Marathon couldnt help but chuckle. "My friend, we are making my personal creation. Little popers. They're a six inch long bottle rocket with a burn time that will last about ten seconds. Once it reaches maximum hight it will detonate. And when it goes off, you will know when it goes off. The chemical mixture i use is extreamly sensitive and if you're not carefull it will do a premature detonation. Wich, isnt fun. Also when it goes off you're going to need to wear ear muffs to muffle the sound. The rocket is strong enough to level a whole tower of this castle if you place it in the right spot." He said all this with delight in creating his most dangerous but exciting firework. This requires carefull hooves.

As he was walking he noticed Iron looked kinda mad. She just told everypony to scram, and for what? "Was it something i did? Id hope not. Man if it was i keep screwing up with this pony. Ugh, i cant do nothin' right today." He said thinking out loud. Now atleast he knew most of the ponies here. He went back and grabed his letter off the desk and took it with him to his room. When he finaly got to his room he opened the door and went inside. He didnt see to make sure but he though Hellcat was behind him the whole time. If she was he dint see her in his room when he left to go to the one mares room. As he made his way to her door he knocked. He wanted to fix things with the light brown mare from earlier, not only that but see if he didnt anything wrong with Iron. If only his head wasnt skiping things all the time.

He smiled at the pony who wanted to make some fireworks. "Well great! Folow me then, we'll grab my stuff from my room and then head outside." He said as he started walking twards the stairs. "Oh also i have something else to do real quick if you dont mind. You can wait in my room till i get back." He said now excited. "Oh and iron, can you mail that letter to ponyville thats on the desk right there? That would be great." He smiled in her direction as he continued walking down the hall.

"well yes, fireworks. I mean if any of you would like to i can go grab my stuff from my room real quick. Its not that hard making any." he said now a little disapointed that some ponys dont like them. Who wouldnt like them? "Maybe on the way to my room i can go to the one mares room and talk to her. I probably made her mad by walking out on her like i did." he thought still keeping his main goal in mind.

Marathon saw the new pony again. A stallion, great looking and strong. "Well that sucks. Im Marathon, if you're wondering what there is to do there isnt really much right now. I was thinking about making some fireworks, you're welcome to join me." He said in a confident voice. Although he did want to find that mare and talk to her, making fireworks would be a great time killer right now.

As Marathon got to know all the ponys he noticed a new one come in but didnt quite get a good look at him...or her. As a matter of fact he wasnt sure what the pony was except that they are a pegasus. He looked around at the other ponies and thought about the one from the dinning hall. "Hmm, i havent seen her in a little while. Maybe ill ask some of the ones here if they have seen her. I didnt even get her name." he thought to himself while he waited for Webnet to reply about his cutie mark. "Hey, everypony. Has anypony seen the one mare? Light brown coat, glasses. Yes, no?" he asked so everypony could hear.

"Webnet? Intresting name, nice to meet you. Umm, whats exactly is your cutie mark?" Marathon asked slightly confused as to what this Webnets mark is. Hes never seen one like it before. Atleast he was making friends. For a while he stared at the mark on webnets flank.

As he watched the pony who had previously ignored him run to the first floor, Marathon sighed and closed his door and quickly grabed a towl and dried off. He then made his way out to the first floor as well. When he reached the stairs he saw the pony and a light blue colored stalion. The green one had fall as it looks. "Well i better go see if hes ok." He said to hemself, but then he noticed the new mare he had saw earlier and Iron. His mood suddenly brightend as he saw his chance to fix things with both ponys. He made his way down the stairs and nodded at the light blue and green ponys. When he got to the receptionist desk he took a second to gather his thoughts. "Hey, just wanted to say sorry to both of you since you're both here. Im Marathon, i didnt mean to ignore you." He said to the new pony. He then turned to Iron, "And sorry if i made things awkward between us last time, i just thought it was strange that you were watching us as we came in." He smiled warmly to both the mares.

Just after knocking Marathon had second thoughts about being mean to the pony. He then backed away and slowly walked to his room so that he could give a chance for the pony to open his door and see him. He finnaly made it to his door and inserted the key. He opened the door but stood there a second hopeing that he would open his door before he decided to close his door and dry off.

Marathon walked back in through the doors of the hotel now extremly wet. Luckly the letter didnt get to bad. He walked up to the receptionist desk and set the letter on it, he looked the at the new pony. He took out a note pad and pencil and wrote that he needed the letter sent to ponyville. He then turned and went to his room so he could dry off. He was to angry to hold a decent conversation. When he made it to his door he looked at the one room that pony who ignored him stayed. He went up to the door and knocked and loud. "Im going to give this pony a piece of my mind." he said to himself as he waited for the door to open.

Marathon quickly made his way to the front door of the hotel. As he went he made sure nopony saw him. For a second he stoped and thought about just mailing it but thought it would be better to hand deliver. He heard a loud thump but disregarded it and quickly exited the hotel and went back to ponyville.
