Favorite MLP Generation? (G4 Included)

Saw gens 1 (it was ok for its time) and 2 (blah) when I was a kid. I've seen clips of 3 & 3.5, which made me cringe. So I'd have to say, as with most others, definitely gen 4. Mainly, I find it's engaging and full of material for kids as well as adults. Secondly, the fan community it brought about and all the original content they've come up with like music, videos, voice acting, art, etc. The fans take it to that next level. -
I know, and it's been stated here, that many don't think the pilots are a good place to start, but I've found they set up my suggestions, which are: - Frienship is Magic 1&2 - A Canterlot Wedding 1&2 - The Crystal Empire 1&2 These are the ones that caught me the most, and working with a limited number of episodes I figured these would work best. I know he said 5 eps, but hopefully he'll be hooked enough it won't matter. -
Some can't believe an adult (especially a male, apparently) can enjoy a show like this without there being some hidden reason. In some cases they may be right, but painting everyone else with the same brush is just short-sighted to a frightening (and frighteningly common) degree. As said before, I'm sure there are degenerate bronies, but find me a group or fandom who doesn't have some.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Applejack How did you find MLP Forums?: Just looking for an online community, so hit up google. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Insistent referral by friends, combined with all the fan content that's been generated. Hey, hows it going? I've only been a fan of the show for the last couple weeks, so still trying to get caught up. Having seen how big and supportive the brony community is, and all the awesome fan content (Friendship is Witchcraft, PMVs,, music, art, etc.) I figured I'd try to find someplace online where I could be a part of that.
