Young Mare
Chamomile has a terra-cotta coat and a muted light pink mane and tail. Her mane and tail have a slight wave to them, and she usually wears her mane in a lazy half-up style or puts part of it in a braid or fishtail braid. She has turquoise eyes.
female Unicorn A yellow teapot with light pink accents, symbolizing her talent in tea-making.Chamomile is a very calm and collected pony in nearly every situation she finds herself in. She is not particularly expressive, and prefers to let her actions speak for her. She puts her best work into everything she does, and though she would never boast she does pride herself on a job well done. She is organized and neat, but not excessively so, meaning that any space she lives in looks clean and inviting. She can seem disinterested during conversation at times, especially if she is distracted by some task she is working on, but despite her appearance she always listens to what other ponies have to say and takes a genuine interest in their conversations, chiming in with helpful advice when appropriate but otherwise happy to just listen.
Some ponies take her placid demeanor to mean that she doesn't care about much, or at least that she isn't passionate about much, but this isn't true at all. Chamomile cares deeply about both her special talent and her family, especially her sister. She would do anything for her family, and she puts her all into making new and delicious tea blends and running the family tea shop.
Likes: Excessive noise, coffee, the jittery feeling of being over-caffeinated, impolitenessChamomile and her twin sister Ginseng are the daughters of Jasmine and Pekoe, two unicorns best known for opening a popular cafe in Canterlot known as The Kettle. Chamomile grew up in Canterlot living right in the center of the city in the apartment above The Kettle, where she went to school and helped out in the cafe as much as she could. She enjoyed school very much for the learning aspect, but didn't make friends very easily due to her quiet nature. She was fine with that though, because she always had Ginseng to play with and spend time with, no matter what.
She was always eager to learn more about the family business, especially when it came to making tea. She started trying to make her own tea when she was very young, too young to realize that tea couldn't just be made from whatever leaves could be found outside soaked in water. She made herself sick more than once trying to make tea that way. As she got older, she learned more about what actually was supposed to go into the tea, what herbs went well together and what temperature they should be steeped at. She even planted her own garden to grow herbs to make tea out of. After carefully tending to this garden, drying the herbs, mixing them, steeping them, and pouring herself a cup of the drink she had made entirely from scratch, she took a sip and realized that she had done it, she had made this all by herself, and if she could do that then surely she could do everything her parents did to keep The Kettle running, in fact she could keep making it better. That was when she received her teapot cutie mark.
After she was done with school, she and her sister sat their parents down and offered them something. They knew that they could run the family cafe, and that Jasmine and Pekoe had always wanted to travel Equestria some day, so they suggested that the pair retire early and see the world, leaving the cafe in their capable hooves. They agreed, and Chamomile and Ginseng sent them off on their adventure.
Chamomile now oversees The Kettle's finances and makes tea for her customers, while her sister handles the public service aspects of the cafe. She is constantly blending new teas to offer The Kettles patrons, and loves seeing how well-received her recipes are. She also enjoys interacting with her customers, but she prefers listening to them over talking herself. She loves hearing the stories that they come in with, most notably the stories of a certain orange-maned journalist who frequents the cafe, as she is constantly traveling to new places and meeting new and fascinating ponies. Overall, she is very proud of how her and her sister have been able to keep the cafe running smoothly, and knows they will be able to keep the family cafe in order no matter the obstacle.
Magic - In addition to basic telekinetic magic, Chamomile also taught herself a heat spell. Though a fairly weak spell, it does work nicely for reheating a cup of tea that was left to sit for a bit too long.
Chamomile will rarely if ever appear in roleplays without her twin sister Ginseng, as the two are practically inseparable.
