The first thing someone would notice about Gray is his very thick and slick black coloured mustache which would then be followed by his goldish glasses resting on his nose.

 

On further inspection the rest of Gray's appearance is rather plain; Gray fur with a black mane and tail while being a little taller and skinnier then most ponies..

 

He also appears to always wear some very high quality made saddlebags which seem to be filled with all kinds of trinkets Gray gathered on his travels.

Gray is a calm and ambitious pony and also enjoys life and makes the best out of it or so he likes to believe for he has a tendency to lie at himself because he tends to be insecure from the inside.

 

He also finds it important to be liked by others; he will go to quite the extremes to make someone feel comfortable and welcomed.

 

However, do not let him catch you saying anything negative about him for he will take it very personally and he may suddenly loose his temper.

 

Gray also is afraid to try new things but he won't admit or show this to anyone far too proud for that most of the time.

Likes: Demands, surprises, vehicles of any kind, lies, crowds, insects and noisy places.

Gray was born in Baltimare, he had both his parents and no siblings.

There is not much to say about his childhood, he was a good child who studied hard and did what he was told for he loved to be on everyone's good side which would usually turn out positively for him aswell. Gray got his cutie mark rather quick for it was writing and what do you do a lot at school? That's right, writing! He didn't really took this as a surprise because he had always enjoyed learning and writing letters since he was just a baby.

 

Nothing truly of note happend during the rest of his school years, no lover, no special best friends or anything like that. When he finished school he suddenly got the urge to explore the world, to see what is beyond his home. To do this he needed bits, lots of bits.. So he started to work at the local newspaper with his talent for writing he got in rather easily.

 

He kept working at the newspaper for many years and eventually forgot about his plan on going on a journey across Equestria.. That is what he wanted to believe, the truth was that he was afraid.. afraid to the big change it would bring to his life, he was insecure and wanted to stay in his safe little boat at his office of the newspaper.

 

He lied against himself and went on many years having the same routine.. Going to work, chat and hang with some friends and go home. (A birthday of a family member/friend now and then, of course.) Some said his life was dull and boring.. he'd shut them off and say very convincingly that he is very happy the way he lives.

 

But those words kept sticking on him, his thoughts went back to the old journey plan he once had.. He would shake it off and lie to himself that he had forgotten about it long ago. However, after having the same routine repeat over and over again the words "dull and boring" kept gnawing at him for years, until he finally snappped!

 

After years of insecurity (and some unconscious planning) he finally went over the doorstep, he quit his job were he worked for many years, said good bye to his colleagues and friends, he said good bye to his safe heaven.. Baltimare.

 

He bought a lot of proper travelling equipment (All those years working at the newspaper made him have quite the amount of promotions and money), "The first step of many!" or so he thought.. For his knowledge of Equestria is limited to books and maps only and he lacks a lot of well needed experience.

 

Gray has to take it slowly, step by step.. That is what he believes.

 

 

Now we shall see where the road will take him.
