Appearance: has a gray coat, and a black and white mane and tail. normally wears a cloak.

Cutie Mark: its a sword, meaning traveler/adventurer, also singling his talent in swordplay.

Personality: very laid back and care-free, he rarely sweats the small stuff<br />he is fiercely loyal to those who show him kindness, although if given a good enough reason, that loyalty will go out the window. <br />he knows when the situation gets real, but if he doesn't see a reason to get serious, odds are he will stay goofy.<br />Likes to use his hooves instead of magic to wield his sword, as it feels more natural to him.<br />he loves a good fight. losing by a hair wont bother him too much, as he knows that some more training will close that gap, but if he loses by a huge margin, it will make him question his skill.<br />he is rather smarter then he lets on, and one can see glimpses when he fights, as he often comes up with unique and interesting ways to deal with various opponents.<br />he gets greatly insulted when other ponies voice their doubt about his skill, and this with often be met with a challenge to fight.<br />He has a huge ego, telling anypony who'd listen about his achievements, and commonly introducing himself as 'Caliber, the Wanderer, 4th Greatest Swordspony in Equestria!'<br />But unlike most ponies who have an ego, he's got proof and skill to back it up.<br /><br />he is a firm believer in fair fights, and will take on almost anyone as long as he fights them on fair terms. <br /><br />and despite his overly cheerful attitude, all that can change in an instant. he can become cold towards a pony, if that said pony did something what he would call 'unforgivable' to a friend. this usually includes attacking to kill, or making a friend cry, ect.<br /><br />his worst fear is failing when someones life is on the line, and it intensifies the closer the friend is. his way of coping with this nagging fear is to train when he starts to doubt his abilities. which can sometimes lead to dangerous training sessions.

Backstory: caliber grew up in Fillydelphia. he was always the foal who was never satisfied with normal life, having been brought up by fairy tales. he wanted himself to be the next legend. he always yearned for more. <br /><br />he always had small adventures around his town, getting into all kinds of mischief. he frequently got into trouble, but most of the time, he did something to compensate. he had a stick that he would frequently carry around, throughout his childhood. he still has it, to this day, in his house.<br /><br />he got a hold of a swordspony tournament flyer, one day, and was immediately convinced that he was going to go. when he made that decision, his cutie mark appeared. <br /><br />he left in the middle of the night, taking only a few bits from his parents. he was refused at the gates, however, due to his age. he was only ten, after all. so, in order to give himself the best chance, he started journeying. after sending a letter home to explain where he was, of course.<br /><br />his parents are still angry with him to this day.<br /><br />during his travels, he has met four different masters, who have all helped caliber become stronger. ronin in particular, who taught him swordplay, and gave him the sword he now has.<br /><br />when he turned seventeen, he tried for the tournament, once again. he came in 34th place, not a bad first try. he would try again every half year, and now, after almost ten years of hard training, he's come in 4th.<br /><br /> his greatest feat to date is when he defeated an ursa minor.
