Cutie Mark: Deep Blue Snowflake, represents his special talent as a cryomancer.

Personality: He is somewhat socially awkward. Meaning that he doesn't act according to a social norm. He's more so spontaneous and wild, than calm and collected. Even his friends will tell you he's a bit strange<br /><br />Blizzard also has a giant sense of determination, and will almost never back down from anything. <br /><br />But this also means he doesn't back down even if he KNOWS he'll lose. This along with his agression, sometimes causes him to get in situations too deep.<br /><br />Being a somewhat aggressive fighter, IB likes to charge in headfirst in some situations without thinking, however this doesn't stop him from analyzing some situations carefully.<br /><br />He has a soft spot for the elderly, and for foals. He'll always do his best to protect foals and older ponies.<br /><br /><br />He's also a bit of a jokester, sometimes cracking jokes even in heated situations to add levity.<br /><br />The only thing that will piss him off, is if his friends are insulted or are in danger. Also, if somepony insults Rarity, or anything that has to do with his crush, he WILL GO OFF.<br /><br />But for the most part he's friendly and is almost always happy.

Backstory: Icesius Blizzard was born, North of the Crystal Empire to the ice clan in the Land of Ice. However, his life wasn't easy due to being an earth pony and not being able to naturally control ice like most of his family could.<br /><br />His mother, Yuki Frostlace (Earth Pony who married into the clan.), was caring and understanding. She knew that someday her son Ice, would find what made him special.<br /><br />His father, Jacknife Blizzard(Unicorn), however, had divorced his mother. He felt that because Ice was an earth pony, that he wouldn't become anything. The sad part is that Ice didn't even know his father that well due to him leaving his life at a young age.<br /><br />He went to school, like most other foals, and as an Earth Pony colt he was somewhat of a nerd and didn't have any friends due to being a loner. He was a smart little colt for his age and wanted to become a scientist when he grew up. However, he was taunted by many bullies as a colt for being smart and not naturally having ice magic even though he was a part of the ice clan. All he really wanted was just to understand what made him special among the rest. He also loved to explore areas unknown due to being curious. His mother let him explore all over the Empire (under her supervision of course) hoping that her son would find out what makes him unique. <br /><br />During his foalhood, his grandfather (Iceberg Chill), taught IB how to fight and defend himself. IB couldn't understand why his grandpa was so hard on him about fighting at the time. His grandpa was in the Equestrian Military, and had wanted IB to know how to fight for his own protection. Every time Iceberg came home to his grandson, he would always train him in hoof-to-hoof combat.<br /><br />IB was fed up with all the combat training and was more so focused on finding his special talent. <br /><br />One night, IB snuck out of his house. And while, exploring, he came across a giant hole in the ice outside of his ice, and fell through it. While down there, all he could see was a glowing, blue crystal. His curiosity had gotten the better of him, as he decided to take it home. Luckily, it was a short fall, so Ice managed to get back out the way he came in. He had run many tests and experiments on the mysterious crystal but he couldn't decipher its contents. It drove him crazy how much he couldn't figure it out and he wanted to give up but his mom encouraged him to try his best and not give up. So, he didn't give up, but still couldn't figure it out. The little colt spent days and days experimenting to no avail. <br /><br />He eventually decided to sleep on it for a while to think. That night while he was asleep, the crystal became unstable and started to glow, float and shake like crazy. (IB neglected to put the crystal in a hazard-protective container because he sometimes forgets to do simple things). The noise from the crystal woke IB and his mother. As she hurried to his room IB tried to contain the crystal by grabbing it with his bare hooves, his mother tried to help him, but then something happened. The crystal seemed to have disappeared and a deep blue aura coursed through IB's body and he was knocked out. As he was knock unconscious, IB had a vision and a spirit within the crystal came to him and she said, "Young Ice Blizzard, you are the last active descendant of the Clan of Ice. We have been living within this crystal for centuries, as this is where the power of all your other ancestors were stored. And as our last clan member, we now bestow upon you, your very own ice powers. Prove your worth by studying your clan's techniques, and you may be the best Ice Clan warrior of all time." In reality, it was an artifact that belonged to his ancestors. It was where their power was stored when each member had passed on, and only by the power of an ice clan members' touch could the power be reactivated, and harnessed. However, they did not grant him all of the use of their power. Only 80% to be specific. This is because his ancestors did not want him to use 100% power of something he had little control over at the time.<br /><br />His mother woke him up and wanted to know what happened IB told her he was fine but then he accidentally froze his alarm clock! He and his mother were astonished! AN EARTH PONY WHO COULD CONTROL ICE! He did not want to endanger his mother with his newfound powers so he decided that everyday he would practice channeling his powers outside and away from other ponies. And because his powers were so unstable, he had to read for hours on end each and every day about the Ice Clan ways and techniques.His clan ancestors told him that his powers would be unable to function properly until he head all of the books on how to control his powers. At one point he almost wanted to give up, and even tried to return down below to the secret room to return his powers. Why? Because he didn't want to try and deal with the hardship of having to earn them. But because he was fueled by the determination his grandfather had, he went back, and decided to try again. the more he read, the more he understood, the more he understood, the stronger he became, at long last earning his powers.<br /><br />Eventually, after many days and days of practice, he managed to get his cutie mark(A deep blue snowflake). That along with his combat expertise he got from his grandfather, helped him to become a fighter! <br /><br />His mother was so proud when he started to get control of this responsibility, that she decided that he should share it with the world when he gets old enough to be on his own. And he did, when he was about 17 he bid his mother goodbye, due to not wanting to live off her money, and decided to share his cool gift with the world. He went searching all over Equestria for the right city to move to. He eventually chose a little town called Ponyville after noticing how dangerous it was From then on he decided to become a cool hero for Ponyville. IB was happy, he had gained cool powers, a cool cutie mark, a cool home, and best of all, cool new friends.
