Appearance: Refer to above image.<br /><br />Orange beak with a black tip. Violet eyes. Scar over left eye. Light brown fur. Scarlet fur running down the back. <br /><br />She's tall, even for griffin standards. She stands almost twice as tall as an average pony.

Personality: Björg is extremely proud. She has a habit of tossing her head and holding it very high. She always has very tall, proper posture.<br /><br />Another defining trait of hers is her sarcasm. She's not afraid to hurt someone else's feelings-- in fact, she relishes it at times. Hurting another's pride only increases her own ego. She has a sharp wit, and uses it often.<br /><br />However, she is noble. This is another thing that increases her pride. She will do anything to help any being, be it another griffin, pony, or something else. No matter what the danger, she will fly in to try and help.<br /><br />She is very constant, tending to treat everything the same, no matter what the race, friend or enemy, whatever status. <br /><br />She doesn't care much for money. She enjoys traveling and adventuring immensely, with others or without.

Backstory: (Note: This is pre-Starswirl times. Refer to third footnote if in roleplay that is set in present/post MLP times.)<br />Of Griffinia:<br /><br />A little over a century ago, the land of Griffinia was established as the homeland of griffins.*<br /><br />Griffins were warriors. They had established their rule on fighting (they had taken their land from dragons through fighting), and began to grow restless. <br /><br />One main family-- a noble family, if you will, but everybody was basically related to it somehow-- ruled in Griffinia. It was known as the Storm clan.<br /><br />Over time, the Storm clan split into three faction, sub-clans: the Blood-Storm Clan, the Ice-Storm Clan, and Earth-Storm Clan.**<br /><br /><br /><br />Bjorg of the Blood-Storm Clan: <br /><br />Bjorg is the grand-daughter of the first Blood-Storm, Boriss***. She is the youngest in a family of four, and the only female.<br /><br />Bjorg was considered royalty among the other griffins. She was part of the "main" family, which was the family directly related to Boriss. She was expected to be a fierce warrior and lead the family to victory against the other two clans, along with her brothers.<br /><br />Bjorg was not interested in the continuous war. She wanted to adventure, she wanted to meet other races. She felt trapped in the Blood-Storm camp. She wanted out.<br /><br />She felt no particular attachment to her blood-lusting family, and left when she was a teenager. She set out to explore other places, going into what is today known as Equestria, though she would never see it called such in her time.<br /><br />Now she is a lone adventurer, hunting and helping others occasionally. <br /><br /><br />*Griffinia is to the south of current Equestria, but extends across the San Palomino Desert.<br /><br />**About the Clans<br /><br />-Blood-Storm: Members are often distinguishable by dark red markings. They are the most violent, reckless, and ruthless of the three clans. They fight with claws, and occasionally claw extensions.<br /><br />-Ice-Storm: They live to the western part of Griffinia, in a frozen area. They are often white and have much thicker fur. They, too, are ruthless, and have begun developing more weapons and mastering the use of fire as a weapon.<br /><br />-Earth-Storm: This clan has become more secluded over the years, some even taking to farming instead of fighting, which is useful as now they have much more food than the other clans. They stick together more and are more tactical than the other families. Members are often distinguishable through fur in shades of solid browns and greys.<br /><br />***In roleplays not set in the past, she will be a direct descendant of Boriss. Griffinia will have gone further and further south and completely lost connection with Equestria over time.
