Appearance: <p> Medium black mane covering the right eye slightly, along with a medium well-groomed black tail. Both mane and tail are smooth, less messy and scruffy during his adult years. Coat is light gray. Eyes are maroon in color. Also wears a black collar around the neck. Slimmer than most stallions. </p>

Cutie Mark: <p> Three music notes: A big two eighth notes in the middle and two small quarter notes that are slighty above it near the sides. The middle note represents her, while the other two represents his friends and family, for it symbolizes that they will always be there for his and always "have his back" when he is troubled, which means he would have to return the favor as well.<br /><br /> He got his cutie mark when participating in a school talent show, by needing to face her shyness and low self-esteem. He didn't know why, nor how did he ever decide to participate in the first place. The crowd was cheering his name excited to see what he got. At first he thought he was going to ruin everything and his reputation, but once the music started he confidentially gave it his all and heard the crowd roar with cheer at the end. Sadly he didn't win first place, but what he did earn, was confidence in himself and his cutie mark. Personality: <p> Stormlight is known for his kindness and helpfulness towards others, though can tend to be as serious and as blunt as he needs to be in order to have things his way sometimes. He will take initiative and give out orders as a leader without hesitation with his quick thinking and risk taking mindset. Storm does not accept failure easily, and will fall under pressure or overthink if he isn't able to handle a difficult situation. Despite his uneasy stare and appearance, Stormlight does have a soft side underneath the toughness, especially when it comes to his interests and hobbies. Though he tends to act childish and cause trouble, it helps Storm whenever he's under stress and wants to clear his mind even for just a moment. When meeting new ponies, Storm usually appears quiet and does not open up quickly, but after awhile he will finally decide to let his guards down and open up more easily. </p>

Backstory: <p> Stormlight’s parents were born in Cloudsdale, but then moved to Ponyville, where he was born and raised there a few years later. Being a pony with no siblings, he learned to kept a positive mindset of it, and had his own responsibilities he needed to learn by himself, all in being independent. He always knew he had to live up to his parent's expectations, so he always tried to do his best every day to know they'll be proud of him, if he decides to be the perfect son they always wanted, most of the time. Though he wasn't as close to his parents, Storm's grandparents that occasionally visit them felt more like family to him.<br /><br /> As a colt, he struggled on how to fly. Even in summer flight camp he would be teased by others, calling him "Stormfright", with him being the quiet one, making him feel terrified to practice with the rest of the pegasi. On the final exam day, Storm thought he discovered that he couldn't fly anymore. He kept trying to unfold his wings but they refused to. At the flight camp, others were wondering why he isn't going to fly, he was going to give up trying until his old friend actually helped him and said that something was in between his wings. As suspected, a small thorn was caught between his wings, causing them to become temporarily immobile. His wings were able to move again, but it took time for them to adjust back to normal. However, he had passed the final exam with “flying” colors.<br /><br /> During his school years, Storm had no problem with what the teacher lectured about, aside from his consistent procrastinating, but he managed to produce quality work. His classmates would ask him for help every now and then, but of course he needed his own guidance as well.<br /><br /> Reaching closer to adulthood, Stormlight attended flight camp again for the summer, hoping to meet his old friends, and possibly interact with new ponies if anypony decided to approach him first. As he gets ready to have a playful race with his friends, he was unfortunate to crash into something midflight unexpectedly. No matter how hard he tried, Stormlight continued feeling excruciating pain attempting to fly with one wing dislocated. Thinking he won't be able to survive after ground impact, he blacks out, unaware of what's happening around him, until Storm realized he woke up in a hospital bed with his broken wing bandaged, slowly healing.<br /><br /> As he came to, a dark blue stallion kept apologizing to him from the side of the bed. Stormlight focuses on him and discovers he is also a pegasus. He explained how he keeps having trouble on learning how to fly properly, but as he kept rambling, Storm told to him that he forgives him, explaining how it's his fault for not being cautious of his surroundings when flying. When asking for his name, the stallion politely responded, "...Mastermind," Stormlight felt comfortable talking to the stallion, for they managed to learn more about each other the duration of the time he had to stay in the hospital to recover. A few weeks later, Stormlight was out of the hospital and back to being able to use his wings as freely as he wanted. In return for keeping him company, Storm teached Mastermind on how to properly fly, despite how long it took to do so. Though Stormlight thought he and Mastermind were going to become the best of friends...little did the both of them know the different feelings that grew over the months of hanging together. After a while, Mastermind finally confessed his feelings towards Stormlight. Surprised, Storm responded with him confessing his own and the two stallions began dating each other.<br /><br /> A few more years went by and Stormlight became all grown up. At last, he figures out that he has to be careful of how he treats others; with respect. Able to be independent he didn't need his parents to look after him anymore. His parents decided to move back to Cloudsdale while he stayed to live in Ponyville. </p>
