Deep underground in a hidden sanctuary, two members of the order have gained the rank of Assassin.

 

"From here on out, you will receive orders via carrier pigeon, or by summon. Until then, you are dismissed." the Mentor, Night Blade, said as he walked back towards his private chambers.

 

The two Assassins leave the hall and return to the surface where they go and purchase their new equipment.

Midnight had been promoted to assassin a few days ago and hadn't relly got used to having lesser members of the order look at him as a superior, he had been one of their equals a few days ago and didnt think that it was nessecary that some of them think he was slightly more important.

Night Blade was sorting through his papers when a pigeon flew in from the window. It landed on his desk and looked up to him, cooing slightly. Curious, Night Blade retrieved the tiny parchment from its leg and gave it some food. The pigeon cooed happily as it ate the seeds.

 

The Mentor of the Assassin order opened the scroll and read it contents. It was an assassination mission to assassinate a corrupted guard. In a matter of seconds, the same pigeon that came in was already out the window to give the message contained on its leg to the one that it is intended for.

Midnight walked through the halls and realized that his new cloak's color didnt really fit with his coat (not that he was a fashionista but the white didnt look right with his dark blue coat) he decided to have it dyed to something darker, like dark grey or black. He decided on black and went up to the surface to get his cloak's color changed. just as he was going up he got hit in the face by a note "f*yay*k!!! Right in the eye too!" He yelled "somepony needs to get some better carrier pigeons" he said to himself and read the parchment.
