But to be fair, I had already watched Midnight Castle, The Movie, and The Return of Tambelon before even Season 3 came out. Still... now I'm learning I should probably just watch all of G1. I got just a taste with villains like Tirek, Grogar, Catrina, Lavan, Smooze, Hydia, Reeka, Draggle, and others... There's just too many awesome villains in this dang show! It's just that ever since I joined this site, I've been trying to spread the G1 love! Keep up the good work! NMM is honestly more like Tirek(G1), with her eternal night schtick and status as being the first villain to taste the rainbow "Aren’t we the same? That would actually be a very easy place to call up the G1 villains, saying they were trapped in Tartarus Hell, they actually have a perfect set up for Arabus with the Pony of Shadows. Before you ask, Arabus is basically a cloud of smoke that eats your shadow and powers up in that fashion. Yeah, lots of the G1 villains were power drainers, but in Arabus's case, if he was in G4, they could have him be the Pony of Shadows and take your shadow. In some cultures, your shadow is your soul It's gonna be a jail break! G1 villains loose all over Equestria! That would be a perfect situation for what you were talking about before though where all of the Mane Six have a villain they have to contend with. You know, about the Pony of Shadows... I'm not sure about it, but I've seen people say that the Pony of Shadows they showed at the end of "Castlemania" was actually Tirek in his robe. I don't buy that, though. I haven't seen Arabus before, but he would definitely seem like a fitting guy if he really is a shadow stealer. I saw a picture not too long ago with that Zebra assistant guy in it, and I was wondering who the heck he was. Bringing Arabus in then would be double awesome, since he would fit with the Pony of Shadows gimmick, and you could have another Zebra finally appear on the show as his assistant. Like you said, maybe Arabus is also from where the Zebras come from, and he could be like part of a legend of her homeland or something, giving us some more backstory. Plus, maybe we learn something more about Zebras by having another Zebra on the show. Zecora and other Zebras have been just super mysterious in general, just like the Griffons, so it would be nice to get some backstory on them. Maybe he's stealing shadows so that he can be strong enough to survive in the sun or something. That would also be very interesting, especially if his assistant (Zeb) ends up being the one to help him. Better yet, he is cursed to become a puff of smoke and is unable to interact with things due to being intangible, save shadows. "Guard your shadow closely with a watchful gaze, or Arabus will eat it like fresh cut corn maize." Now Crunch I actually know about, as I've watched clips of him before. Now that you bring him up, I think he might actually work for Fluttershy if she had to face a villain; her heart's filled with kindness, his with hatred, that kind of thing. Maybe you could even bring back the Diamond Dogs somehow since Crunch is a rock dog. Perhaps the Diamond Dogs come and beg the Mane Six for help, and Fluttershy is the only one who can save them thanks to her giving him a heart.
