That doesn't mean Solar System level, even in your bloated model, it only means star level. BTW, Celestia and Luna are seen flying to help stop the ice berg in Equestria Games. Why is this important?

a. They can't overpower the spell of a random unicorn guard

b. They can't melt a small iceberg

Superman can fly and stop himself in mid-air, which explains his lack of flying around. And Doomsday has still punched him through the planet on many an ocassion

It seems we're derailing again. Luna and Celestia are Solar System level for dragging the sun through space at FTL speed. Give me something that any character in DBZ did to justify being that level or higher. The greatest thing we've seen is Buu destroy a galaxy after a short time by wiping stars or star systems.

The fact that they can't destroy an ice berg means that Celestia and Luna are weaker than Master Roshi in pure destructive power. The reason they win against DBZ is due to magic hax, not power edges of any kind.

And I did not avoid the question, I illustrated why the idea of Celestia and Luna being these gods is insane. They are not. The Everfree Vines took them down in 5 seconds, vines that Applebloom was able to tear up. It was an offguard shot, but it's a horrible feat

Oh yes, another thing, Twilight, who should know Celestia's power perfectly, is afraid she'll get carried off by Parasprites. Also, the ponies in Ponyville thought that Trixie's claim of killing an Ursa Major made her the most powerful thing ever, so Ursa Majors are stronger than Celestia. This may also just be bragging, but Trixie doesn't seem all that worried about Celestia while possessed witht he Alicorn Amulet

Buu is the strongest character in DBZ, aside from vegito, but if we're talking 'solar system level' destruction, kid buu learns instant transmission and could wipe out an entire galaxy in a few hours, maybe even less. Frieza wasn't beaten by a sword, he was beaten by SSJ Trunks. You should know that a weapon doesn't make the man. I don't know where this 'weaker than a gumdrop/weaker than a rock' argument is coming from.

The point is lowballing characters is really dumb, Saying Celestia is weaker than Applebloom and Rainbow Dash is tatmount to saying Super Buu is weaker than a piece of candy. Both really dumb under any context.

We're looking for consistency here. We know Spiderman's not on that level. Celestia and Luna moving Celestial bodies is a consistent feat.

It seems when it comes to MLP, however, most debates become an issue of deestablishing feats rather than comparing characters like it should be. I can link you to several threads, including a few started by me, where this happens in spades.

Regardless, I think i'm done here; this argument is going to go on far longer than i'm willing to battle it on a non-competitive forum. EvilDragonMaster, I respectfully abstain from this debate.
