How can I use a gif as avatar?

I have looked for it in FAQ and in this section but couldn't find it. Pardon me if it has been asked before.

 

Anyway, i'd like to have an gif as avatar. The gif is  145 by 150 pixels, which is within the maximum, and 42.7 KB, which is also within the maximum.

Okay, after some fiddling around the gif seemed to work, sorry if i gave any trouble or anything.

Hehe, since you figured it out, I shall hereby lock this topic! 

 

Gifs need to exactly fit the dimensions of the avatar box in order to animate. This means that they must have dimensions of either 150x150px or 200x150px.
