It was simply a bright flash of light. There was no sound, no warning, nothing. All of a sudden, Jason was completely swept off his feet and felt the travel of being yanked straight into the unknown.

Jason slowly opened his eyes and moaned, looking upwards. he groaned, shaking. He couldn't even think about what was going on, only that he felt sick and disoriented.

Dusk Shade felt a strange disturbance in the air of the Everfree Forest around him. "Hmmm...perhaps this..." . With that he used his magic to send out three black probing tendrils of etheral energy to seek the source of the disturbance. Afrer a moment, a tentril showed Dusk Shade an unknown entity lying on its on its back in the grass motionless. "I am tasked with the patrol of the these woods fir injured and dangers.. whatever that may be does not seem a threat." Eith that Dusk Shade walked slowly to the spot where he had sighted the intruder.

Jason slowly opened his eyes, gasping. He wasn't a brony, nor did he have any knowledge of Equestria. He slowly lifted his head up, looking around. Suddenly, he realized that he was not alone. he heard sounds from the darkness, which, because he was winded, he kenw they had to be close. As he groaned, he slowly rasied his head up and shook. he slowly called, "H-Hello?" He asked, slowly trying to find where it was he was. He saw some dark trees, and he slowly called, "hello?"

" I will ask that you identify yourself and your reason for coming here. Poste haste." comes a voice all around Jason. It seems to travel throughout his body. "Perhaps after if you are spared, i will tell you my name." With the follows the image of a unicorn black as blackest night minus his his eyes and a stripe down his msne and tail with are piecing pure white. "Speak."

Jason gasped, seeing that ghostly image in his eyes, "A-a unicorn!? B-but you don't exist!" He blinked, hearing the words boom around him. Still sick to his stomach and disoriented, he moaned and shook, "I-I'm Jason. Jason Kroneveter." He shook, hearing the voice only get louder as it continued.

"Hmmm...I donot exist... then tell me... child.... does this hurt...?" The unicorn swiftly brought his left front hoof down on the stranger's neck. The unicorn just chuckles as he awaits the childs response. "Oh, and by the way, you never told me why you are even here scum".

The pain that lanced down his neck suddenly made him shake. He closed his eyes and he slowly began to choke, looking at him. Jason blinked and he stared the unicorn right in his eyes, but the unicorn saw he was nervous, scared, and shaking, "I-I don't know! T-there was j-just a flash of l-light a-and...a-and...w-well...I-I'm here! I'm sorry!"

Feeling the fear of being hurt and possibly messed up by the magic, he nodded and he knew he had to answer. Seeing this pony (he never thought the day would come he'd ever see one!) obviously didn't trust him, he whispered, "I-I came from a tiny house in this place called K-Kentucky on Earth!"

"Kentucky..Earth... ™Earth. I have studied your brutish planet. Centuries ago but I remember what I saw. You are a human, yes..?" Dusk Shade simply stood and pondered why a human teenager would be brought to Equestria,to the Everfree Forest, and perhaps most strangely to him.

Jason nodded, "yes, yes I'm a human!" He was more or less trying to simply survive the pony, "I-I'm 17! A rising senior! I-I just...I just found myself here! I don't know why, please don't hurt me..." He felt like a coward, but seeing what this unicorn could do, he was now terrified of him, "I-I don't know what happened, I swear!"

"At least you are prepared to believe I exist." Dusk Shade's horn begins to hlow black. He uses his magic to cast a healing spell on the human. "I apolagize for the nessacary roughness. I advise to be careful with what words you choose to use against me, Jason."

Jason nodded, feeling the strange magic start to envelop him. He slowly felt his body start functioning once more, and he sat up, "Seeing you in front of me makes it hard to deny your existence." He rubbed his head, "Where am I, exactly?" He looked around, "Am I in some sort of forest?"

"Hmmm..let us see.. trees, caves.. we just might be in a forest. Where do yo-". He is cut off by the howls of a pack of timberwolves. "Oh, it seems I have forgotten the wolves. How careless of me. And how rude of these misbreeds to interupt me while we are speaking." Hos horn glows a black even darker than that of hos coat and a bolt of lightning shoots into the trees but not before branchong into three. The distinct cries of three seperate wolves told him that hos aim was true. "Now that these nuisances have been dealt with, where were we?"

He blinked as he heard the noise of lighting, but rather than hearing the sizzle of flesh, it was the crack of wood. Having never heard of a timberwolf, he looked at him blankly, "I think you missed and hit a tree. I think the wolves just ran off." He slowly turned around, picking himself up. He looked at him again and he sighed, "Well, we were talking about where we were. I know we're in a forest, but what kind of forest? What forest?!?"

"Do not yell at me. And I did not miss." He uses his magic to retrieve the corpses of his prey. "Timberwolves, not trees. As for what forest this is.." he says with a pierceing almost evil glint in his eye. "This is my home. This is the Everfree Forest, hindwalker". He raises his eyebrows and waits for the human's next vhildish remark.

The human sat down and he blinked. He lookedat him, "Timberwolves? How can a living organism be made out of plant life and still move like that?" He looked around, "Everfree forest. Cute name." He looked to him again, sitting down and starting to take in the surroundings, "where am I?"

"Equis the name of the planet you are currently on. Equestria is the name of the country you are currently in. As for the timberwolves...they are magic, it is that simple. Any more pointless questions that I have to waste my breath answering, human"? Dusk Shade mentally prepared for the next onslaught of questions, visibly cringing at the thought.

He blinked, taking it in. Thinking about it, he realized that, whatever the flash of light was, it had taken him not only off Earth, but all the way onto this place called Equestria. He looked at the pony in front of him, and it instantly started to realized he had no hope of getting home. Thinking, he then decided to ask the question he wanted to, "well...where should I go?"

Dusk Shade was trulyamused by the human's latest trivial question. "Life is short and each of us must find our own path. Even I do not have all if the answers, hindwalker." At that, Dusk Shade handed Jason a map of Equestria. "Where ever you decide to go, I will follow, if only to discover why you have been sent here".

Staring at the map, he saw the Everfree forest and then he slowly began to formulate many questions. But he asked the one question that had just came up, "Why are you so interested in me when you could easily move on and forget me?" He looked at the map, "Although, if you decide to follow me, where exactly is the most magical pers-er, pony?" He stared ta them, not sure of what was.

"Unfortunately, I cannot just forget you. You are tresspassing upon our world..and your home world has nothing but war. You must be watched. So do not assune I am at all intrested in you...I just find it curious that your barbaric species is still alive. Perhaps your actions here will tell me weather or not they deserve to be. Personally...I fo not think they do.. killibg thier own planet like tge scum they are. As for the modst magical pony.. It would likely be the princesses...but you have no right to be in thier prescance. Next to them, it would likely be me as I have lived over a thousand years...constantly creating new magic or perfecting that which already exists. Why"?

The human looked at him blankly, then thought about what he was saying. It was true his 'world' had a lots of war and famine, and the population suffered daily. Thinking back, the world was teetering on the edge of World War III by the point he'd been zapped in, but then again, his father was politically oriented, so that was a biased opinion. He shook his head slightly to clear it; he needed to focus on the present, "W-well in most tales I've heard of things like this," Or, the Wizard of Oz, he thought, "The most magical beings send me home. So do you think those...Princesses could do so?"

(OOC)- Jason has now officially pissed off Dusk Shade, congratulations.

"Enough of this", Dusk Shade says his white eyes pulsing as he materializes his scythe. He attacks Jasonn with his aura, blasting him into a tree. "What part of you are NOT WORTHY of being in thier prescence did you not understand you filthy little mongrel. Know your place", he growled as he brought the scythe to Jason's neck. "This is no fairy tale...there is no wizard to save you...and besides in the story he was a fraud. So by connection, you have insuated that the princesses are also frauds", he roars at the human as he begins pressing the scythe through his neck.
