"They used them in the past, before those six were even born. Those six are mere children while the princesses have lived over a thousand years. When Luna and Celestia used them, they were in their original state, stones. Now...they appear in the form of necklaces for those six".

"Ah, I see." Smiling, he noticed they were making thier way towards the canterlot gates, "So, what exactly are we going to do now?" He asked, trying ot think of where they were in relation to the world as he knew it. He saw a forest in the distance and asked, "So the Everfree forest borders Ponyville?"

"Yes, it does indeed. Oh and do watch for the poison joke when I take you through it, mind you. As for Canterlot, what do you think...interesting enough for you, child", he asked in a semi-friendly tone. Realizing this, he quickly added, " Do not think that all of Equesteia will be so peaceful" in his usual, monotone voice

The pony ntoiced his subtle shift in tone, but he decided not to mention it. He smield, "I enjoy Canterlot, but I'm not one for city life. I lived in the country side beforehand, so I'm not used to these cramped spaces and streets filled with vendors. I'm used to having ot drive many miles to even see a friend."

Yes, I suppose Canterlot does have its charms but I muat agree that crowded cities are quite an annoyance. Equestria has a town just perfect for you since you like contry living so much, don't you worry", Dusk said flatly. "Appaloosa is its name...a town that relies completly on apples for survival...pathetic".

Thinking of the name, he ignored how similar it sounded to an old western town. He was probably going to laugh if it came to going itno the desert. He shook his head, "By country I mean a house in the forest. There wasn't much taht I'm used to. I wouldn't want to go into a desert." He said quickly. He really didn't.

"Ah, I see. You want a forest do you? Very well", Dusk Shade said slyly hos cruel smile beginning to return. "Let me know when you are prepared to visit my home in earnest, Dream Catcher. Do not be afraid...I am much more dangerous than anything else in that forest, I assure you".

The pony nodded, "I'd like to see Ponyville first though." He asked gently, "Also, if you would let me uh....do you normally wear cltohes?" He asked, not sure if that answer was giong ot make sense. He saw some ponies not, and some ponies were. Trying to think, he sighed and asked, "Do I need ot wear clothes?"

Dusk Shade just looked at him quizzacally. "I do not care. Myself, I only wear armour and formal wear. Some ponies wear clothing at all times. The choice is yours. If you decide you wish to wear clothing, inform me quickly. You buy fine clothing here or in Ponyville quite easilly..and dont worry, I will be paying since you have no bits".

Thinking, he noticed it and he simply found a little bandana and a large rimmed hat, which were cheap but looked rather nice. He put them on and had to actually like them. he smiled, and suddenly he heard a pony jokingly call him someone called 'Cheese Sandwhich'.

"If you wish for me to purchase those for you, you wll have to speciffically say so. And he is not thatt polka spitting lunatic Cheese Sandwich so shut iup if you.like living", he yelled at the passing pony as he summoned hiss scythe. "Let us not tarry here too long".

The pony nodded and, after the transaction was made, he quickly began to move through the city. He passed vendors, but he felt he had everything he needed. He suddenly realized he wasn't reacting with complete fear. At the same time, he felt like hew as going to be okay.

"When you feel ready to leave this place and head onward to Ponyville, let me know. I grow tired of these Canterlot Elite", he said quietly. He relinquished his scythe and followed Dreaam Catcher though the city. He suddenly teleported away momentarilly without explanation.

Dream Catcher stopped, staring at him as he felt his partner disappear. He continued to follow the trail he was taking, ready to leave the bustling streets of the city. While he liked the shops and vendors, he felt strangely crowded nad felt as though everypony was looking at him.

Dusk Shade appeared beside him again with a cloak and mask to hide his cutie mark and glowing white eyes. "I hate beibg bothered by these commonfolk...how about we make for Ponyville sometime this millenia", he asked boredly. He noted his lack of wing usage as tgey waljed.

Dream Cathcher nodded and he kept walking, upset to try and use his wings. HE wasn't sure what to do by this point, and decided just to go ahead and keep on his hooves. Starting to move faster, he slowly exited the city gates after nodding to the guards, ready to leave at the same time.
