RainbowMau 291 July 30, 2014 Share July 30, 2014 You know, do you have fear of any disease and thought you had it when you just had a little unsignificant pain? I'm sometimes afraid of cancer, once when I started having reflux and chest pain I thought I had stomach cancer, I was worried and thought I was gonna die or at least suffer with chemiotherapy until I had a gastroscopy and I was diagnosed with hiatus hernia I was also shocked when I found a hard ball near one of my hands, I was afraid of my life cause I thought it was my end, then I discovered it was just the wristbone Also recently an ex-boss of my older brother died from a brain bacteria, and everytime my head hurts I just remind that and I get worried cause it may be happening to me, when I finally discover that my headache comes from stress and too much time watching the PC screen at work Does it happen to you? SkyDream 315 July 31, 2014 Share July 31, 2014 No. No actually, I think I have the opposite condition. I keep thinking that I'm fine when I'm probably not. For all I know, I'm missing a leg. "Yeah just walk it off, kid." Okay. Besides, I'm in one of those camps that believe those mind-over-matter stories about people believe themselves to be well and actually getting well, Maybe that's why I never get stick. Terribly faulty reasoning, but I don't get sick, so, coincidence.
The Crimson Cross 7,532 July 31, 2014 Share July 31, 2014 Hmm... I think I'd be in a balance in between both extremes. When it comes to health, you need to be very careful what's happening with your body. Too much worry can probably lead to stress and make things worse on the other hand. I could probably do a bit more to improve my health though.. A bit more exercise and a more balanced diet wouldn't do me any harm at all. Now with more added tea leaves!
