Airsoft impression. 1983 Grenada

Here it is. Complete. 82nd airborne impression (minus the patches) This is a bit off topic from pony stuff. just thought I'd post it. I don't have my Vietnam gear yet, so I can't show you that (it's in storage) So I thought I'd show everypony the next best thing.

 

Also, if anypony is wondering, yes, I have seen Heartbreak Ridge, And yes, I think it sucked.

 

 

 

Starlight: So, I went through the portal to this 'strange new world' Somehow, I became a Stallion (or whatever) and a member of the US Army in 1983, Operation Urgent Fury (Don't ask how I know that). With an unhealthy urge to kill Communists. (what's a communist?)

-ALICE LC-1 belt

-ALICE LC-1 5.56 ammo pouches (x2)

I just realized that my finger isn't on the trigger in this pic XD. how is the gun shooting? oh well, at least I have trigger discipline. "Yeah, git sum! Git sum, baby!"

M9 bayonet wasn't around in 1983, but whatevs. This was just a silly "Hey, the M9 bayonet doesn't fit on the M16A1." pic.

 

PASGT helmet with PASGT vest makes going prone almost impossible. You just can't bucking see. That's why they made the MICH 2000, a smaller helmet.

The M16 is an AEG. It's my brother's, but I ordered one a little while ago. I just plan to use this in airsoft. Also, I'm gathering the required gear to attend Operation Eastwind. Got 2 years to acquire all the stuff XD (if you're not familiar with East Wind, http://www.operationeastwind.com/ )

No. They only issued those to spies in WWII that i know of. It wouldn't be right to issue your troopers that kind of thing. it'd be very discouraging. "Here's a poison pill, if you're captured, kill yourself."

I heard it was for when you were unlucky enoff to get put in the f'ed up camps that used electic torture odds are im wrong or it was for a few people maby russian spies to take there life idk
