WYSIWI Don't Want - disabling the WYSIWYG editor?

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to disable the WYSIWYG editor that is currently the default post editor for my account. I've checked account settings and the FAQs, but have so far been unable to find anything relating to it.

Is it possible to change the default post editor (or editor for each individual post)?

No, it is not possible to change the WYSIWYG. I suppose it lives up to its name because what you see, is what you actually get.

No, it is not possible to change the WYSIWYG. 

 

In a very basic sense, this here is true. The editor we use here on the forums, CKEditor, is the only one users are able to use and it is not possible to switch it out for any other WYSIWYG editor.
