Waving over the server for another drink, Ennex leaned back in his chair, enjoying the music, nodding his head to the beat.  Vinyl's club was loud, but always filled with excitement.  Ponies were dancing, drinking, and having an all around good time.  He watched the crowd, as he usually did, and noticed two familiar ponies enter the club.  

"Now, this is a surprise," he said to himself, as Quillina and Equinox walked in.  As he watched them approach the bar to get drinks, the server appeared with his own beverage.  "Hey," he said, reaching out to her.  "See those two at the bar?  The newbies?  Put them on my tab, would ya?"  She nodded, and returned to the bar.  He sat back, and hollered with the rest of the crowd, as Vinyl switched to another track....

"Because of all the ponies that like the loud noise that is why...that and many of the ponies like to get drunk of their flanks and stuff" Equinox added before taking a drink. "But seriously you shouldn't drink if it make you drunk after one drink" Equinox said taking another sip of his drink.

She had gotten to her fourth drink and she sighed, taking some milk as well and finally managed to calm down. She smiled at him and she actually burped, and she looked at him, "so how are you doing?" she asked now, loosened up. She actually enjoyed this, feeling so happy it was really nice.

"I'm doing...just fine" Equinox said smiling. "Heck I'm on my fourth drink...dear lord I need to pay for this and when I get back I hope I am sober enough...Luna will have my head if she sees her captain drunk at work" Equinox said finishing off another drink. "How are you though my dear" Equinox asked

She suddenly heard a bartender say that they were going on somepony's tab. This was strange, for she didn't know anypony in there. she focused, "Well...where is it?" She saked, and she saw a pony in the background, "somepony's paying for our drinks." She sighed, not sure.

After finishing her third Vodka martini, Ennex decided to call it a night.  After all, he did have work in the morning.  Leaving a tip on the table (a generous one, as was his habit), and waving a farewell to Vinyl, he started to head towards the door.  On the way, he turned to great two ponies at the bar.  

"Quillina, Equinox!" he exclaimed, "what a pleasant surprise!  Glad to see you spending some time outside the castle!"  He waved a hoof around the room.  "Hope you're enjoying yourselves!  I know it's a little loud, but trust me.  That's the only way to experience DJ Pon-3!"

"Well then...that saves us some money who it is" Equinox said. "Whoever is paying for it must know you, me, or both of us pretty well..." Equinox said before looking around. "Let's not abuse this alright...whoever is doing this for us is nice lets not make them hate us by making the bill go sky high" Equinox said before hearing Ennex.

 

"Hey Ennex how was the meeting with Luna...also it was her idea to come to the club" Equinox said

Quillina simply nodded, "I think I'm gonna stop with drinks. I can still walk home, I think I may ant to stay that way..." she looked a bit woozy, but she really could still walk home. she smiled, and looked completely at ease at this point. She sat down, smiling more.

"Well, I'm glad Luna helped out somepony," Ennex replied.  "My meeting didn't go very well.  Again, she turned down my proposal."  He sighed, and took a deep breath, before his smile returned to his face.  "But's that business talk.  We're here to relax.  I AM RIGHT!"  Several ponies around them cheered.  He turned back to the two, "anyway, I'm a regular here, and always have an open tab."  He waved a hoof at the bar, "makes paying the bills easier, anyway."

"So sorry to hear that it didn't go so well Ennex" Equinox said before hearing something else that Enned said. "So wait...were you the pone who was paying for our drinks then" Equinox asked before looking at Quillina. "Well I know you can walk home but I still need to walk you home also you know" Equinox said.

Quillina nodded, and she burped suddenly. She sat down, smiling at him as she started to slowly focus in on her surroudnings, "Well I'm glad that we're all here!" she laughed, the alcohol helping her to relax. She leaned back and stared at the pony her friend was talking to, "Who are you again?"

Ennex laughed.  "Looks like somepony has been enjoying herself.  It's me, Ennex."  He waved over the bartender, "one more round for my friends."  Turning to Equinox, "and yes, tab's on me.  And don't worry about it!  I'm here all the time, and there have been a few nights I've bought a round for the house!"  He laughed, as a new song started playing, and he began nodding his head to the beat.  "You two having a fun night here?"

"Yeah we both are having fun" Equinox said. "You know Ennex you are too good of a friend" Equinox said. "I'll say this though...if Luna saw me like this she would kill me since I'm not supposed to be drinking before it is my turn to start guarding" Equinox said

Quillina slowly started to sip on a special potion she'd broguth that alleviated some of the alcohol from her system. She walked over, tripping once, before sitting in a chair and looking at Ennex, "I'm having fun! I appreciate you picking up our tab! I hope we're not a burden to you!"

Laughing to himself, "Not at all!  I'm a regular here, and always have a tab open."  He waved a hoof at the corner table that he was just sitting at, next to the stage.  It was still empty.  "Even have my own table and everything.  Besides," he said with a shrug, "it's just a drop in the bucket as far as money is concerned."  That almost wicked smile again.  "You two enjoy yourselves.  I have to head out.  Early board meeting, and will need some sleep to recover."  With a wave, he turned to head towards the door, pausing to share a mutual nod with DJ Pon-3 on his way out.  

 

Once outside, his private carriage was waiting.  "Back home, sir?" asked the pony lashed up to the front.  "Please," Ennex replied, as he climbed in.  The carriage moved off down the street, into the night...

Equinox smiled back showing a fang. "See ya later Ennex" Equinox said. "I think we should be heading back also Quill...after all we still have jobs to do don't we..." Equinox said as he had another drink. "Plus if either or both of us pass out we will need something for the hang overs" Equinox said

Quillina nodded and she slowly began sinking right back into her normal state during the small bit of little of coruage she had. After this, she began to move out towards the castle gates, only shaking a little bit. She smiled at him as they slowly enetered back in.

Equinox followed behind using his katana to keep himself up and so he doesn't fall over. "I shouldn't have drank so much...I'm such an idiot" Equinox said seeing Quill shake every now and then. "You okay Quill" Equinox asked. "Are you going to be able to keep walking" Equinox asked

Quillina groaned and she hoofed him a tiny potion, "It won't take all the hangover away but it'll help you not be drunk." she had drunken half of the poition and she wasn't tipsy anymore, and looked at her, smirking and trying to slowly help him back up into his stance.

Equinox drank most of the potion before being able to stand up and sheath the katana. "Thanks Quill...That really helped" Equinox said as he continued walking with her. "You know...I'm glad I met you Quill..." Equinox said as he looked at her and smiled.

Quillina was still shy but she still hugged him very quickly and slowly entered into her chambers, "Well...I need to get at least three little bits of sleep before Luna gets up. Sorry..." she moaned, turning away from him and feeling like she'd suddenly done something wrong. But she still kept going.

"Okay...Good night Quill" Equinox said as he went to the barracks. He decided to write a letter but he asked himself: Should he give her the letter...or should he make it anonymous. "Maybe I should just give it to her...what's the worse that could happen" Equinox said to himself

Quillina moaned and she slowly started to calm down, her body relaxing as she laid down on her bed roll. She wrapped her hooves around a pillow and gently began to snore, her body already shutting down from its entire exhuastian.

Equinox started to write and crumple up many papers because of how each one sounds before coming up with one that was good. "Hopefully she likes this but...I won't send this just yet....maybe I should..." Equinox said not knowing what exactly to do

Quillina woke up many horus later, and she began tending to Luna, following her around and documenting as needed. Seh was a bit hung over, but she was able to t record her duties and the words around her without incident. She slowly walked by him, smiling at him.
